FABRICATION, SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF MOTOR COVERS FOR NPOS AREA AT FACT-CD, AMBALAMEDU
Scope of work includes fabrication of liftable motor covers for motor having rating between 600 HP to 800 HP. The structure of motor cover shall be fabricated using MS structural items and hood shall be laid using 22 gauge industrial Aluminium roofing sheets. MS Structures & MS welding rod required for the work shall be supplied by FACT free of cost. Aluminium roofing sheets required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor. Aluminium sheets shall be bolted with structure using M8 size SS bolts of suitable length with necessary nuts, washers, bitumen washers etc. The bolt heads shall be covered with best quality roofing compound. An overlap of 150mm shall be provided between sheets. The bottom of structure shall be grouted with PCC. The structure shall be fabricated in such a manner that there shall be provision to detach the legs of the structures from the bottom footing for lifting the motor cover. Suitable hooks for lifting the motor cover shall be provided on top. All the tools and materials required for the work other than free issues shall be supplied/ arranged by the contractor.
