Consultancy Services for Structural Evaluation and designing details specification for strengthening of existing distressed pavement surface of: i) Damda-Chakoltore-Daradi-Kenda-Manbazar Road from 32.00 Kmp to 46.00 Kmp under Manbazar Highway Sub-Division of Purulia Highway Division during the year 2021-2022.ii) Jhalda-Bagmundi Road from 0.00 Kmp to 9.00 Kmp under Balarampur Highway Sub-Division of Purulia Highway Division during the year 2021-2022.iii) Balarampur-Bagmundi Road from 0.00 Kmp to 26.00 Kmp under Balarampur Highway Sub-Division of Purulia Highway Division during the year 2021-2022.’’. The stretches as Mentioned above for the following scope of works :- • The objective of FWD (structural strength) survey is to determine the strength of the existing pavement which would form the basis for designing the thickness and composition of overlays/reconstruction stretches for rehabilitating / strengthening of the existing pavement • It shall be carried out in accordance with IRC 115:2014 (Guidelines for structural Evaluation and Strengthening of Flexible Road Pavements using Falling Weight Deflectometer technique).• Depending upon the identification of stretches of uniform performances the sample size of deflection measurement has to be identified on the basis of Caluse. 5.4. of IRC 115:2014.• Deflection measurement is to be carried out as described under Table.2 of IC:115-2014 for Intermediate lane divided carriageway for each carriageway etc and all other necessary test as mentioned in this NIQ. B. Submission of report :- Submission has to be done in the following format :- • The final Report shall consist of the following: -i) The details distress map of the stretch. i.e pavement condition survey as per Appendix-1 of IRC:115-2014. The details of the stretches of sections of uniform performances.ii) The Deflection Data as per Appendix-II of IRC:115-2014.iii) Analysis of data for different homogeneous section as per Appendix-V of IRC:115-2014. iv) The Calibrations certificates and calibration check records done at site (as detailed in the scope of work above).v) The Details of findings of Ground Penetrating Radar Survey.vi) The tests conducted on materials and different hard crust layers as elaborated in scope of work.vii) The details design of overlay and outputs of IIT_PAVE and KGPBACK.viii) The digital format of videographic images during conduct of the FWD test and other tests on different materials.ix) All the above mentioned documents from 1 to 7 in hard bindings in sextuple.
