Repair/recarpeting of roads

Surface dressing in soft /loose soil n exc 15 cm deep complete specified and directed .

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm & Exc 50 mm and nexc 100 mm deep removal of retrieved material from site to a distance n exc 50 metres complete all as specified and as directed .

Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, black top surface

M & L using applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre, paving bitumen

M & L Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm , paving bitumen

M & L Premix bituminous, macadam with 4% binder (Paving bitumen any penetration) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less)

M & L Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 6% binder Paving bitumen VG30 content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete

M& L Cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less

Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’,Thickness of concrete slab 150mm

Demolition of cement concrete/ bitumin road in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness
