The scope includes supply of paints & handle for earth pit cover.

Erection of chemical copper earth pit (MAINTENANCE FREE EARTHING). Construction of Civil Earth pit chamber shall be contractor scope. Earth bore dia 100mm. Supply materials for Chemical earth pit shall be TNPL Scope.

EARTHING OF MOTORS TO EARTH PIT / EARTH FLAT Fixing of the following cables in Panels/DB/Motors etc. The scope includes crimping of lugs at 2 ends and connecting the equipments with earth mat. The 2.5 sq.mm cable shall be connected in Sprial Type. The supply of lugs shall be in contractor scope (Lug Make Dowels only). TNPL will supply required cables/bolt&nuts.

Buried Cable Trenches

Excavation and back filling of Trenches for cables in all types of soil for a maximum depth of 600 mm, providing sand cushion of 10 mm thick and covering three sides of trenches above cables by full size bricks including consolidation and disposal of surp etc.The supply of sand and bricks shall be in contractor scope.

Cable Markers

Supply and Installation of cable markers for underground cable runs as per drawing and fixing supports and including all labour and materials complete as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer

Transformer Room Fencing Work

The transformer yard fencing complete with fabricated frame, welded wire mesh (3.5 mm thick, 2m height & 50x50 square) and door etc. including welding, cutting, drilling, bolting, grinding & riveting etc as per tender drawing & directions of Engineer In-charge. The scope including supply of welded wire mesh, door hinges, door handle and transportation of steel materials from stores or steel yard or any other storage area (inside Mill) to respective erection site.

STATUTORY CLEARANCE

Drawing approval from CEIG including drawing preparation, arranging inspection and obtaining safety certificate from CEIG and also as installed drawings submission to TNPL.
