Laying of 3 x 185sq.mm, XLPE cable from Lakeview substation to Ambalamedu house substation at FACT-CD, Ambalamedu.
Providing new cable trench and laying of 11kV, XLPE insulated power cables in the trench. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 1 meter and a minimum width of 300mm, laying of cable ( 3x185 sqmm ) and backfilling of trenches after cable laying . The cable will be supplied by the FACT LTD free of cost. The scope include shoring, strutting, dewatering if required, consolidating and disposing of surplus earth, all labour, materials, tools etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The scope also includes supply and spreading /filling of sand in cable trenches, supply and installation of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection inside cable trenches after laying the cables as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The bricks shall be laid to enclose the sides of sand bed and cable. Cast iron HT Cable route markers shall also be supplied and installed in every 20 meters above the cable trench. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables.
Laying of 11kV, XLPE insulated power cable ( 3x185 sqmm) in existing trenches. The scope shall includes laying, dressing, fixing on cable trays /racks /risers /walls /columns /cable trenches /pipes, clamping, tagging, tying, drilling holes, minor civil work etc. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables. All materials required for clamping and laying such as aluminium clamps/nylon ropes, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor.
Providing straight joint on 11KV, 3x185sqmm, XLPE/PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable/ compound type straight through jointing kits and cable joint marker . Supply of suitable Denson/3M/RAYCHEM make kit shall be in contractors scope. All materials including concrete cable joint marker and a licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor.
Providing end termination on 11KV, 3x185sqmm, XLPE/PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable type end termination kits. Supply of suitable Denson/3M/RAYCHEM make kit shall be in contractors scope. All materials required and a licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor.
Supply of 4" , B class GI pipe as per IS:1239 PART-1 (1990).
