Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 70mm (50mm BM+20mm thick PC) in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks for safe disposal with all leads & lifts Complete in all respects or reclaiming to bring to required as per specifications to reuse with the approval of Engineer. Note: - The milled bituminous material minimum 80% of total milled Qty. (i.e.123.20 Cum) shall be recovery item.

Dismantling Brick Work, Tile Masonry or Tile Lining and Tile Terracing (HSR 8.5) i) dry brick work

Construction of embankment, shoulders and sub grade in widening of formation width 7.32 mtr to 9.75 mtr with soil of minimum CBR 8 % (4 days soaked) of obtained from borrow area with any lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by engineer with respect to GTS. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 11201.94 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 11201.94 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 11201.94 cum, then only 11201.94 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached section-9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth work undressed with a combined lead upto 15 metres including breaking of clods. (HSR 6.2 b), and re-compact the same on berms’ including laying, dressing, watering & rolling as per HSR 6.2 g-i, g-iii & g-v)

Preparation of sub grade including trenching, rough dressing of spoil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller, and compacting the bed (HSR 24.1) Note:-In widening portion sub grade will be prepared with the use of Baby roller (HSR 24.1) or width of excavation should be made sufficient wide to accommodate road roller. Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

Providing and laying 150mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in writing.

Providing and laying 180mm thick granular sub base consisting of filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading-III of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer in writing.

Providing and laying 100mm thick Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub –Base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383 the size if course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm aggregate cement ratio not to be exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trail length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as 10 MPA at 7 days mixed in the batching plant transported to site laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013. Note: - If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and laying 230mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 360 Kg. per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing and MoRT&H specification No.602. 5th edition 2013 (NS) Note: - Minimum cement contents shall be 360 Kg. per cum of concrete. If job mix formula required more it shall be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Manufacturing supply and laying of precast cement block (0.45x0.30x0.15m) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 Kg. /per cum with digital batching plant dully compacted with hydraulic machine including setting in posotion over 25mm fine sand bed prepared and filling up the joints with fine sand and digital batching plant (N.S)

Providing & fixing PVC pipe (10kg/cm2) duly slotted IS-4985:1988 including cost of adhesive, carriage, loading, unloading etc. complete in all respects to the satisfaction engineer incharge. (a) 160 mm i/d. Make:- Supreme, Diplast or any reputed make as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (NS)

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift and including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:- No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & Marking center line/side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no., manufatcruing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use..

Providing and fixing public information board consisting of 75mm GI pipe of size 2.45m x 1.5m with 900mm x 900mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected / welded with 5mm thick steel plate of 50mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60x60x75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Pavement marker (Cat Eyes) Molded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 Kgtested in accordance to ASTMD 4280 type H and compplying to specification of category A of MORTH Circular No. RW/NH/33023/10-97- DO III dt.11.06.1997. Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Good Bricks @Rs. 4.50/- per nos.

Bituminous mix material @ Rs. 932.00 Per cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
