Manning & Operation and maintenance of MH pump house No 2 consisting of Centrifugal Pump Set- 02 Nos, Chlorine Plant, DG Set, Valves and its accessories with following requirements as per notes under Sl No.1.01 to 1.03 :-

Notes :- (a)The Pump House will be operated with one No FGM in each shift for three shifts in a day including Sunday & holidays. Operators shall be ITI qualified in the relevant trade and having at least 04 yrs experience of running of similar installations (b) Operator shall be responsible for proper recording of all operating parameters in the prescribed log book/Register all as directed. (c) The work includes operation of centrifugal pump sets, motor, Chlorine Plant, DG Sets, routine maintenance of machinery, distribution of water as directed, cleaning of area etc as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (d) Successful operation of the plant to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge is sole responsibility of contractor. (e) Operator will be responsible for timely collection of chemicals, POL, Engine Oil from MES Store Yard as and when required.

(f) In case the plants remains unoprational due to absence of operator or any other default made by the contractor/ operator, the proportional recovery from the contractor will be made at the double the rate with ref to the quoted rates by the contractor for the entire shift irrespective of the period for which plants remained unoperationalduring a shift . (g) The works includes cleaning of pump house , maintaining of pump house premises as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (h) Operator shall be equipped with mobile phone and number shall be intimated to Engr-in-charge. (j) All operator shall maintain healthy decorum and get them selves conversant with any visiting officers and office staff. They should be in proper uniform with MES logos and name plates on chest as approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

(k) In case of power break down the contractor will laise MRS (main receiving station) to restore the power supply for running of plants. (l) The rate also include regular greasing and oiling of pump sets, motors gland packing for pump sets (including M&O). However, other repairs/maint store required shall be measured and paid separately. The operators shall be responsible for the complete security of the plant including necessary watch and ward, maintenance of garden lawn etc. (m) The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact condition of pump house before quoting the rate.

Material and labour for water sample testing for any of the sources as directed by Engr -in-Charge. by collecting sample of raw water in clean sealed container in presence of representative of GE and same shall be got tested for physical, Biological and chemical test for potability of water as per relevant IS, once in every three months from a Govt recognized lab and Test result of water shall be submitted to AGE E&M office for record.

Taking out old lead and spun yarn from leaking joints and M&L for run lead joint for spigot and socket ends joints of any class and cast iron pipe / special fitting with caulked spun yarn and lead including excavation in any type of soil, returning filling in complete all as specified and directed for following size:-(Note- Lead retrived from the old joint shall be re-used)

Manning & Operation of swimming pool of size 25x9.5 M fitted with pressure water filter capacity135 Cum/hr, with all fittings and valves centrifugal pumping sets of capacity 17.5 LPS - 3 Nos, Chloronome plants 12 LPH capacity- 01 No, Cleaning of swimming pool and diving pool bottom surface by operation of suction sweeper and cleaning of swimming pool area in side boundary wall daily as directed by Engineer-in-Charge in following shift wise:- (i) 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs (ii) 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs

Notes for Item No-4 :- (i) The Pump House will be operated with one No FGM in each shift of 8 hrs for two shifts in a day including Sunday & holidays and timing of operation will be as directed by Engr-in-charge/ GE on day to day basis. (ii) All operator shall maintain healthy decorum and get them selves conversant with any visiting officers and office staff. They should be in proper uniform with MES logos and name plates on chest as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact condition of pump house/ swimming pool before quoting the rate. (iv) Operators shall be ITI qualified in the relevant trade and having at least 04 yrs experience of running of similar installations.

Manning & Operation to attending External water supply day to day complaints (leakage in pipe line and fittings/ fixtures etc upto 50 mm dia GI pipes) received at following complaint cells on all days including sunday and holidays by employing one pipe fitter in one shift daily as diredted by Engr-in-charge. (Shift timings :- from 0830 to 1630 Hrs) on following complaint cells (a) Patia complaint cell - 01 Pipe fitter (Skilled). (b) Beacher Road complaint cell - 01 Pipe fitter (Skilled)

Notes for Item No- 5 :- (i) The pipe fitter will be provided with necessary tools (i.e, pipe wrench, die set upto 50 mm dia, cutting tools, digging tools etc) and equipments for attending and rectifying day to day complaints received from MES complaint cell all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) The pipe fitter shall be equipped with mobile phone and number shall be intimated to the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) The pipe fitter shall maintain healthy decorum and get them selves conversant with any visiting officers and office staff. They should be in proper uniform with MES logos and name plates on chest as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) The complaint shall be attended and rectified with in 24 hrs failing which a penalty @ Rs 500/- per day per equipment for non rectifying the defect will be charged to contractor and the amount will be deducted from the due payment of contractor. (v) In case of absence of pipe fitter of contractor, the proportional recovery from the contractor will be made at the double the rate with ref to the quoted rates by the contractor for the entire day/shift.

Supply only Calcium Hypo Chlorite having 65%-70% Chlorine Content (Calcium based granular disinfectant) for general water treatment & swimming pool water treatment, in factory sealed container/drum (45 kg packing), Make : Shree Royalseema/Declibac Tec complete all as specified and directed. Calcium Hypochlorite detailed specifications : (a) Chemical analysis & physical observations : Description : Whitish granules Granular size (Mesh passing through - 100 BSS): 1.1(+ 0.1)% Water/moisture : < 5.00% Mercury & other Heavy Metal contaminants : BDL. (b) Strength in terms of quantity of chlorination chemical required to obtain free chlorine of 1 ppm per lakh liters of water: Requirement must be 140-200 gm per one lakh liter of water to achieve 1 ppm Average at injection point (site & raw water quality variations may apply additionally).

Supply, fixing, commissioning and testing of Calcium Hypochlorite ,dozing system consisting of 100 ltrs capacity FRP tank with PE/RRP lid and level guage alongwith agitator with shaft and blade including all connecting accessories Make : Declibac Technolgies or equivalent.

Supply & fixing in repair of lead acid battery 12 Volts, 180 AH including 02 Nos connecting lead duly initial charging of the battery and fixing to its position complete all as specified and directed. Make : EXIDE/SF/Amaron

M&L for cleaning of RCC under ground sedimentation water tank of 3.75 Lakh gallons capacity by brooming down, scrapping all the side walls, bottom and top, removing fungus, scales, dirt, sludge etc., taking out from inside of tank and depositing the same at a distance not more than 100 mtrs and washing the tank inside with water and chemicals such as bleaching powder, caustic soda etc, draining out water below wash out pipe by mannually or pumping and applying one coat of white wash on internal surface of the tank, writing date of cleaning in white capital letters with sythetic enamel paint on black back ground, size of letters 80 x 10mm complete all as specified and as directed .

Notes For Item No-10 :- (a) The item shall include all type of scaffolding, supports, ladders, platforms etc. and safety equipments required for working in the sumps. (b) Internal surface of the tank after washing and cleaning shall be got approved from the Engr-in-Charge before carring out further treatment. (c) The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact location,size, depth and condition of the tank before quoting the rate.

M&L for excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 Meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 Meter deep in any type of soil including cutting in slopes etc for laying of pipe line including getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers in soft / loose soil not exceeding 25 cm in each layer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for removal of excavated material (Soil) to a distance up to 50 Meter from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 Meter above as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and taking out the existing corroded / scaled PPR pipe with fittings connections from trenches, walls, ceiling or floor and removal from site or disposed off for the following sizes complete all as specifed and directed. Note: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of schedule "A"

Supply and fix glow sign board for pump houses showing capacity of pump set (01 No), line diagram of water supply distribution network (01 No), board size 500x80x40 cm one side printed on a separate sheets of star flex sheet duly written in computerised digital letters on a sheet of size of not less than 5 inch for the first row and not less than 4 inch for the second row letter for illumination purpose. The frame work shall be made out of 1" square MS pipe 18 G for the sides and on all five sides duly painted with one coat of primer and two coats of black synthetic enamel paint with GI sheet of 22 G and beading with 1" wide & 1mm thick aluminium strip . Note : (a) The colour of the flex sheet shall be white background with blue letters. (b) The sign board shal be mounted and fixed to the wall with necessary fixing arrangements such as nut, bolts complete
