Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for foundation etc or for shafts, column footings or for laying cables etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soil) not exc 50 m distance and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hardcore (broken stone) of gauge not exc 63 mm, deposited spread and leveled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, as in foundation, filling, mass concreting etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains and finishing the exposed surface even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Forming fair finished channel shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of the BOQ.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement & including forms, moulds mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as directed. Note :- Measurment shall be taken only for inner girth.

Add to or deduct therefrom for each additional 25 mm girth or part thereof, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in, lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating & including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc. but excluding ashlars facing, dressed stone work & precast concrete articles and including removal all rubbish material outside of MoD land complete all as specified & directed.

M&L brick work with old size pulverized fuel Ash-lime bricks (Fly ash bricks - non modular size), straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in CM 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on stone masonry surfaces or other than fair faces of brick work in cement mortar 1:4, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of 50mm bore unplasticised PVC pipes of pressure rating 10 kgf/sqcm, fixed to walls, ceilings or in floors etc., complete all as specified and directed.
