Excavation for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/ mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling or wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels as shown in the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge complete in conformity with the requirements of MORD Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts of material in acquired road width and transporting of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 859.93 cubic meter quantity at the rate of Rs. 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him to the extent of damage occurred in all cases. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site obtained from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of all other structures, or other source graded and compacted to meet requirement, including setting out, true to the lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drawings, including spreading the embankment material with motor-Grader in successive layers of 200mm (Two hundred millimeter) uniform thickness, and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) Tonne static weight to meet the requirements of table 300.1 & 300.2 of MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 or and as per the entire satisfactions and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, GST, Toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation in foundation for all types of road structures such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains, parapets and other similar structures in all kinds and classification of soil, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary mix soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/ wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) complete in accordance with the lines and dimensions shown in the drawings, including setting out, construction of shoring, bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of excavated material upto any leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub-soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water and cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain cement concrete in sub structure nominal mix 1:4:8 (One cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (Forty millimeter) nominal size), in or under water in Retaining wall/breast wall and the like etcetera complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering (surface/sub soil water) including removal of slush which may arise at time of laying concrete for all heights/depths and any quantum of water, including cost of form work and curing complete for 14 (fourteen) days and as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 800, 900, 1200 and 1600 and as per entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 100mm (One Hundred millimeter) dia PVC pipe Weep Holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutments, wing wall/ return wall, retaining walls and breast walls, etcetre extending through the full width of the structure with slope of IV:20H (One vertical : twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 700 and 1200 and as per the directions and entire satisfactions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Back filling with granular material behind abutment Retaining wall/Breast wall, Wing walls and the like complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 1200 and section 300 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. (three hundred thirty kilograms) per cubic meter with 20mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in Bed Block, dirt wall and the like etcetera for all heights, including cost of form work and curing complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement for reinforced work as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 800, 900 & 1200 and as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. (four hundred kilograms) per cubic meter with 20mm (Twenty millimeter) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in Wheel Guard and Deck slab and the like for all heights, including cost of form work and curing complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement for reinforced work as per drawing and MORD Technical specification section 800, 900 & 1400 complete and as per the direction and the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete Grade-M-30 (M-Thirty) designed mix with minimum cement contents not less than of 430 kgs. (four hundred thirty kilograms) per cubic meter with 20mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate in Wearing Coat including cost of reinforcement for reinforced work form work and curing complete, as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 800, 900, 1000 and 1400 or and as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Royality, Malkana, Octroi, GST, Toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Supplying fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in super structure complete as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1000 and 1400 including cutting, bending, binding and placing in position complete in all respect including cost of binding as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including of Octroi, Royality, Malkana, GST, Toll Tax or other Taxes imposed by the Government.

Loosening of the ground upto the level of 300mm (Three hundred millimetre) below sub-grade level water graded with motar grader and compacting by rolling with Road rollar 8-10kN static weight at OMC to achieve the required density as per Tables 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD Technical Specification section 300 and as per direction and the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Construction of sub grade and earthen Shoulder with approved materials obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per MORD Technical specification section 400 including hauling of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Construction of Granular sub base/base 175mm (one hundred seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness by providing well graded material of and spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with tractor mount appropriate rotavator at OMC and compacting with three wheel 80-100 (eighty – one hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD technical specification section 400 for grading-I material and as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing laying, spreading by mechanically means and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, crushed stone aggregates of Grading-II, 63mm to 45mm (sixty three millimeter to forty five millimeter) nominal size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using templates, hand packing rolling with three wheeled roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static weight in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening type B size 11.2mm (Eleven point two millimetre) at the rate of 0.20 (zero point two zero) cubic metre per 10 sqm (Ten square metre) and binding materials of the rate of 0.06 (zero point zero six) per ten square metre of road surface to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical specification section 400 and as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing laying, spreading by mechanically means and compacting to 75mm (seventy five millimeter) compacted thickness, stone aggregates of Grading-III, 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millimeter) size to water bound macadam specification including spreading and in uniform thickness, using template, hand packing motor grader, rolling with three wheeled roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static weight in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm (eleven point two millimeter) nominal size at the rate of 0.18cum (zero point one eight cubic meter) per ten square meter to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical specification section 400 and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimeter) compacted thickness, composed of type-A 13.2mm to 5.6mm (thirteen point two millimeter to five point six millimeter) aggregates at the rate of 0.27 cum (zero point two seven cubic meter) mixed with bitumen binder Viscosity grade -Ten (VG-10(Ten) bitumen, at the rate of 14.60 kgs (fourteen point six zero kilogram) per 10 (ten) square meter of road surface, to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing coarse on a previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in hot mix plant of 30/40 (thirty/forty) tonne per hour capacity transporting mixed materials with tipper and laying with paver finisher hydrostatic with sensor attachment and rolling with three wheeled 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of type-B complete as per MORD Technical specification section 500 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge excluding the cost of tack coat and seal coat but including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying premix seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross falls using Type-B as per MORD Technical specification Section 500 using bitumen VG-10 (viscosity grade-ten) at the rate of 6.80kg (six point eight zero kilogramme) premixed with 0.06 (zero point zero six) cubic meter of fine aggregate per 10 Sqm. (Ten square meter) of road surface heated in mini hot mix plant and laying manually of mixed material and rolling with power road roller 80-100 (eighty to hundred) kN static roller, as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Royality, Malkana, Octroi, Toll tax, GST or any other taxes imposed by the Government.

Construction of Un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 (Forty three) grade cement or any other equivalent type as per clause 1501 using M-30 (Thirty) Grade, (designed mix) concrete having coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS : 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25mm, (Twenty five millimeters) mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 (Zero point two) cubic meter capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved design mix, laid in approved fixed side form work (steel channel) laying and fixing of 125 (one hundred twenty five) micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the form work as per drawing, spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14 (Fourteen) days using curing compound (where specified) and water, finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 1500 and as per the direction and the entire satisfactions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
