CPSEs reserved item. Procurement of the tendered item will be made from Pharma CPSEs approved by Railway Board. Tendered item should be available in the Railway Board approved products list as on tender opening date. CPSE firms should supply the tendered item from their own manufacturing units. Products manufactured under Loan license/third party arrangements shall not be allowed under any circumstances. CPSE firsms should invariably comply with the terms and conditions as mentioned in Railway Board letter No. 2010/H/4/1/1 dt.24.02.21 attached to this tender.

In case Pharma CPSEs fail to quote against the tender, the procuring entity would be at liberty to make purchases from other Railway Board registered firms, which are approved for the tendered item.

Other than CPSE firms should attach Railway Board approved product list as the proof that the said product is appearing in the list.

In case after taking contract, if the Pharma CPSEs fail to supply as per P.O conditions, then they would also be subject to payment of liquidated damages, cancellation or any other penalty as per IRS Conditions of Contract.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

As per MII policy revision under letter no. 2020/RS(G)/779/2 dt.02/05/2022, the minimum local content for Pharmaceutical Formulations are fixed as under: i. Class-I Local supplier means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services or works offered for procurement, has local content equal to or more than 80%. ii. Class-II Local supplier means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services or works offered for procurement, has local content more than 50% but less than 80%. iii. Non-Local supplier means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services or works offered for procurement, has local content less than or equal to 50%. Verification of Local Content: The Class-I local supplier/Class-II local supplier at the time of tender, bidding or solicitation shall be required to indicate percentage of local content and provide self-certification that the item offered meets the local content requirement for Class-I local suppler/Class-II local supplier, as the case may be.
