Packing Instruction: STAINLESS STEEL SHEETS, COILS AND PLATES:- (A) STAINLESS STEEL (AUSTENITIC & FERRITIC STEEL) COILS. THE COIL SHALL BE PROTECTED IN REASONABLY GOOD CONDITION TO WITHSTAND NORMAL HANDLING HAZARD DURING TRANSIT WITH THE FOLLOWING PROVISION AS THE BAREST MINIMUM: I) COIL SHOULD BE WRAPPED WITH A LAYER OF WATER PROOF PAPER THROUGH OUT WHOLE LENGTH. II) COIL SHOULD BE WRAPPED WITH A LAYER OF BIODEGRADEABLE SHEET. III) OUTER & INNER OF COIL SHOULD BE WRAPPED WITH GI SHEET. IV) SIDE OF THE COIL SHOULD BE COVERED WITH CARD BOARD SHEET. V) AFTER THIS WHOLE COIL SHOULD BE WRAPPED WITH BIODEGRADEABLE PLASTIC SHEET OF SUITABLE THICKNESS. VI) THE INNER EDGE OF THE COIL SHOULD BE PROTECTED BY GI RING FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER IRON RING. VII) OUTER EDGE OF THE COIL SHOULD BE WRAPPED WITH GI RING. VIII) COIL SHOULD BE SECURELY STRAPPED WITH MINIUM 5 STEEL BANDS THROUGH THE EYES OF THE COIL AND MINIUM 3 STEEL BANDS ON THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE EYE. IX) WHOLE COIL SHOULD BE MOUNTED ON WOODEN BLOCKS FOR EASY LIFTING/STACKING. X) THE SHEETS IN COIL FORM FOR THICKNESS 2MM AND ABOVE SHALL HAVE: INNER DIA OF COIL 450-800MM OUTER DIA OF COIL 1000-1300MM WEIGHT OF COIL 2.4 - 10 TONNES XI) THE SHEETS IN COIL FORM FOR THICKNESS BELOW 2MM SHALL HAVE: INNER DIA OF COIL 450-650MM OUTER DIA OF COIL 1000-1300MM WEIGHT OF COIL 5.0 - 10 TONNES. (B) STAINLESS STEEL (AUSTENITIC & FERRITIC STEEL PLATES/SHEETS) I) THE SHEETS/PLATES SHALL BE SUPPLIED IN BUNDLES OF OPTIMUM WEIGHT: 2MT+/-10% & EACH SHEET/PLATE SHALL BE SEPRATED WITH A LAYER OF WATER PROOF PAPER, AFTER THIS THE WHOLE BUNDLE SHOULD BE WRAPPED WITH DOUBLE LAYER OF WATER PROOF PAPER AND A BIODEGRADEABLE PLASTIC SHEET OF SUITABLE THICKNESS. A METAL PROTECTION IN EDGES SHOULD ALSO BE PROVIDED. II) ALL BUNDLES SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 HOOPS UPTO 1.2 METER IN LENGTH AND ONE EXTRA HOOP FOR EVERY ADDITIONAL METER. THE BUNDLES SHALL ALSO BE PROVIDED WITH SKID (WOODEN PACKING UNDER NEATH) TO FACILITATE HANDLING.

Payment Terms

95% PAYMENT AGAINST INSPECTION CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE NOMINATED INSPECTION AGENCY AS SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT AND PROOF OF DISPATCH/DELIVERY OF THE MATERIAL TO CONSIGNEE AND BALANCE 5% AFTER RECEIPT, INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE GOODS BY THE CONSIGNEE. IN CASE OF DISPATCH BY RAIL, UNQUALIFIED RAILWAY RECEIPT/PARCEL WAY BILL WILL BE TAKEN AS THE PROOF OF DISPATCH. IN CASE OF DISPATCH BY OTHER MEANS SUCH AS ROAD TRANSPORT, RECEIPTED CHALLAN SIGNED BY THE GAZETTED OFFICER AT CONSIGNEE'S END WILL BE TAKEN AS PROOF OF DELIVERY.

Statutory Variation Clause

SVC Clause Applicable , however if firm invoices the goods at GST Rate or HSN Number which is different from that incorporated in the purchase order, payment shall be made as per GST Rate which is lower of the GST Rate incorporated in the purchase order or Billed. For which firm would be required to adjust basic price to the extent required by higher tax billed as per invoice to match the all inclusive price as mentioned in the purchase order. On reduction of rate of tax on supply of goods and services, the benefit of input Tax Credit (ITC), shall be passed on the recipient by way of reduction in prices.

Option Clause

The purchaser shall be entitled to vary the order quantity upto + 30% anytime within the delivery period (including extended delivery period) on the same terms and conditions. The increase in quantity with respect to the tender quantity can be done even at the time of ordering and the tenderer shall be bound to accept the quantity so ordered on the basis of his original offer. The purchaser shall be entitled to exercise + 30% option clause in one or more than one installment as long as the total variation in quantity does not exceed the limit of 30% of ordered quantity.

Standard Governing Conditions

IRS Conditions of Contract: The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS conditions of contract, and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.
GREEN TRANSPORT POLICY:- I) SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT ENGAGE TRUCKS/ VEHICLES OF MORE THAN 15 YEARS OLD FOR TRANSPORT OF GOODS TO RCF. II) ALL VEHICLES ENTERING INTO FACTORY PREMISES SHOULD CARRY VALID PUC (POLLUTION UNDER CONTROL) CERTIFICATE AND VALID INSURANCE POLICY. III) VEHICLES MAY UNDERGO SURPRISE CHECK BY RCF FOR GENERAL CONDITIONS SUCH AS TYRES PRESSURE, TANKS etc. AND REPORT SUBMITTED TO CONCERNED CMMs. IV) SUPPLIERS SHOULD ENSURE SPEED CONTROLLERS ARE INSTALLED IN ALL NEW HEAVY VEHICLES. V) RTA NORMS SHOULD BE STRICTLY MAINTAINED FOR DRIVER'S COMPETENCE.
