WORK SERVICES FOR RUNWAY REHABILATION SCHEME (RRS) EXERCISE USING MECHANICAL MEANS, DTGM BOARDS, CHAIN LINK FENCING, LEVELLING OF RUNWAY SHOULDERS, LANDING TEE, WINDSHOCK AND MISC WORKS PERTAINING TO AIRFIELD AREA AT AF STN BARRACKPORE

Material and labour for excavation of shoulders of runway airfield to a depth not exceeding 30cm with mechanical means or manually and levelling the surface as per required gradient after removing/ cleaning of vegitation, grass with roots, brick bats, stone aggregates/ boulders and other foreign materials etc. The useless material removing and deposited in low lying area out side of the defence land at any lead complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, runway shoulders etc, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering and rolling complete all as specified and directed. Note: Rolling shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting by using with power roller of 8 to 10 tonne roller complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old damaged DTGM boards, triagular shaped, each side having size 5 feet x 4 feet and removing waste material from site and fixing of new DTGM boards having three legs of PVC pipe in the newly provided foundation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Supply of DTGM boards and its foundation shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply only DTGM boards made of engineering plastics having monolithic structure to withstand temperature variations from extreme cold to sweltering hot conditions and meet the frangibility requirement specified for objects in runway strip. The structure shall be of 3 mm thick having 03 sides, specifically reinforced with Antimony Trioxide and Mrthyle Amine Acrylat to withstand high velocity winds, each side having size 5 feet x 4 feet with perforated holes of dia 80 -100 mm (16 Nos in each side) and top shall be covered with a triangular shaped 5 mm thick PVC sheet and base structure made of 80 mm dia PVC pipes of projection 0.45 m complete all as specified and directed. Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting outin soft/ loose soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface complete all as specified and directed. Loacation- For foundation of DTGM boards and fencing posts).

Supply and fix 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for making numbers and letters by using water proof self adhesive high intensity warning retro reflective reflector radium conspicuity stickering of 15 cm wide on new DTGM boards complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for making numbers and letters of overall size not exceeding 1000 mm high and 600 mm wide (approx) by using water proof self adhesive high intensity warning retro reflective reflector radium conspicuity stickering of 15 cm wide on existing DTGM boards after removing of old damaged/ faded stickers of letters and numbers including cleaning of surfaces to receive the new stickers complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for all as directed. Location- Old Wind Direction Indicators, and Landing Tee.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n. exc 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) and removing the debris from site complete all as specified and directed. Location- Bases of Wind direction indicators and Landing Tee.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, including removing the debris from site complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition complete all as specified and directed.

Surface exacavation not exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils mixed with gravel) to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for hard core of broken stone or boulders of guage n.exc 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel work as in posts and supporting members for wind direction indicators including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc. including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel work as in curved or ramped portions made to required shape & frame work, fixed to posts and supporting members with mild steel ball bearings where required welded to 80 mm MS pipe by using suitable cleats etc for the purpose of rotating wind direction indicator including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes etc. including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Only curved, ramped or scroll portions only measured for payment. (b) MS bearings where required to be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply and fix mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 5 to 10 mm diameter of neck with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only mild steel double ball bearings of inner dia of 80 mm, self greased (170 x 39 x 80 mm) all as specified and of approved make, to be fixed to 80 mm MS pipe and frame work of wind direction indicator by using suitable cleats etc for the purpose of rotating wind direction indicator complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix mild steel rolled sections as in framing for cladding, glazing, Landing Tee and the like fixed with angle cleats and connecting plates/ sheets etc conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde.E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel rolled sections as in running rails and guides for sliding doors/ landing Tees; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates, embedded into into concrete conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde.E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix for polished mild steel gate rollers of 35-40 mm wide and external dia of 75 mm (approx), made to shape using with MS flat, plate, angle etc including required size of central rod/ shaft, fabricated from lath machine and fixed to MS frame work of Landing Tee by using suitable FI cleats along with ball bearings etc for the purpose of moving landing Tee on guide rails complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for providing PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in plinth corses, lacing courses, kneelers, bed plates, supporting kerbs for guide rails and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating if required complete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing 100 mm thick PCC (1:2:4), type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in floor finishes and pavings, finished the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed. Location- Bases of WDI & Landing Tee.

Material and labour for applying two coats water based road marking paint on roads, pavements and the like including painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, in white, back, golden yellow and orange colour as required at site over a coat of priming paints plaster coat incl preperation of concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed. Location- Bases of WDI & Landing Tee.

Material and labour for forming construction joint on concrete pavements by cutting of construction joints 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide by early entry saw cut using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, egetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breake tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN- 141875- 2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. Location- Bases of WDI & Landing Tee.

Dismantling of old damaged fencing wire mesh of any type and pattern including mild steel tie rod and flat iron etc and removing waste material from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanisd fencing of any size complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Weight of chain link fence shall be ascertained through BOO as directed by GE.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provission of binding wire or welding with iron angles complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of fencing posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) of any section embedded in concrete, brick masonry etc. including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground including removalof from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel work as in posts, and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc.; Flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 5 to 10 mm diameter of neck with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mmm graded stone aggregates) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete in surroundings of fencing posts etc complete all as specified and directed. Location:- DTGM boards, fencing posts and gate pillars.

Supply and fix mild steel round bars 10 mm dia and over conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde.E-250) quality-A or Fe-290 Gde E-165, cut to length, bent to shape, hooking ends etc as in tie bars of chain link fencing complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing RCC (1:1.5:3), type A-1, (20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing RCC (1:1.5:3), type A-1, (20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel TMT bars 5 mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Form work to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter, flat for fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Form work to sides of concrete pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions and similar work; vertical or to batter, flat for rough finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete sur faces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix mild steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and hung as gates, including pintle hinges, stops, hand-made sliding bolts etc conforming to Fe 410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed. Location: - WDIs, Landing Tee, fencing post and gates.
