Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by all means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required line, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes to level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification clauses 302, 302,304, and 1603 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all un-useful material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transporation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and hauling /carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures. Recovery for useful stone of 93.68 cum @ 300/- per cubic metre only shall be effected from the contractor bill actually executed at site on pro-rata basis for the quality of cutting in earth work effected.Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths in all kinds of soil as per drawing and M.O.R.D.technical specification section 300 & 1600 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing the road to specified dimension as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 1203 and 1604 as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge including hauling /carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads, lifts and other incidental complete in all respect.

Constructin of Granular Sub base by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layer with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per MORD Technical Specification clauses 401 for grading-I material.as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer -in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lift and other incidental .The rate is including of octroi, royality, malkana, tolltax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the government.

Providing and applying primer coat with BITUMEN emulsion (SS-1) on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with Hydraulic brooms and spraying primer @ 0.85 Kg. (Zero point eight five kilogrammes) per square metre using mechanical means as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause No. 502 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental . (Zero decimal two five zero kilogrammes) per square metre on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause-503, including hauling of material in all leads lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. Providing laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet with 20mm ( twenty millimetre) compacted thickness, composed of Type-A 13.2mm ( thirteen decimal two millimetre) to 5.6mm ( five decimal six millimetre) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cubic metre (Zero point two seven cubic metre) mixed with penetration bitumen emulsion M.S. cold mix binder at the rate 21.50 Kilogram (twenty one point five zero kilogram) per ten square metre of road surface to required line grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a appropriate suitable plant, transporting mixed material with tipper and laying with paver finisher to the required grade and camber and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 (Eighty-Hundred) KN static road roller, finished to required level and grades to be followed by a seal coat as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 506 as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge excluding the cost of tack coat and seal coat but including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental . Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to specified level grade and cross fall using type-B as per technical specification clause 508 using at the rate of 10 kg ( ten kilograme) bitumen emulsion (cold mix binder) premixed with 0.06 ( zero point zero six) cubic metre of fine aggregate per 10 Sqm. ( Ten square metre) mixed with a appropriate suitable plant and laying manually of mixed material and rolling with power road roller 8-10 ( eight to ten capacity) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material labour and equipment required to execute the work to the site of work complete in all respect. Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to depth of 150mm and disposal of scarified material with in all leads and lifts as per and technical specifications Clasue301.4 including carriage of materials with in all leads, lifts and other incidental.

(Two hundred seventy five Kilograme per cubic metre) in or under water including curing complete, pumping or bailing out water ,dewatering and removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/depths including cost of form work in abutments etcetera as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 800 ,900 and 1200 and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals and entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge .The rate is including octroi, royality, malkana, tolltax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the government.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per M.O.R.D. specification and drawing . Three MS plates of 1.6 mm ( one point six millimeter) thick top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mmx5mm ( twenty five millimeters into five millimeters) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm (twenty five millimeter into twenty five millimetre into five millimeter). The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 Nos. Providing and fixing of semi-reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory signs 600mm (Six hundred hundred mllimetre) equilateral triangle as per IRC-67, made of 1.5mm (one and half millimeter) thick MS sheets duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back and red reflective border of sixty five millimetr width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per clause 1701.3.9 of MORD specifications for rural roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mmx47mm 12 SWG (Forty seven into forty seven millimeter of twelve ( standard wire gauge) sheet square tube of 3050mm ( Three thousand fifty milimetre) height duly strengthened by 25mm x 5mm (Twenty five milimetre into five milimetre) Mild steel flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawing and technical specification clause 1701.2.2 including painting angle iron post with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per the specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing and fixing of semi-reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory signs 600mm (Six hundred hundred mlimetre) circular as per IRC-67, made of 1.5mm (one and half millimetre) thick MS sheets duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 65mm (sixty five millimetre) width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per clause 1701.3.9 of MORD specifications for rural roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mmx47mm 12 SWG (Forty seven into forty seven millimetre of twelve ( standard wire gauge) sheet square tube of 3050mm ( Three thousand fifty milimetre) height duly strengthened by 25mm x 5mm (Twenty five milimetre into five milimetre) Mild steel flat iron on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawing and technical specification clause 1701.2.2 including painting angle iron post with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per the specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Painting lines, dashes, arrows, etc. on roads in two coats on new work with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS:164 on bituminous/concrete surface, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1702 including painting angle iron post with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per the specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in Charge.
