SCH 'A' PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE)

RECEPTACLE (FD/E6/MAP/13) The body of receptacle PVC shall be made up of thick polymer plastic .It shall be of capacity 20 liters, provided with lid and handle as shown in drg.

CHAIR DINING OFFRS (FD/E6/MAP-II/04) Overall size shall be 950mm high,450mm wide and 450mm deep.The size of the legs shall be 40x50mm .Front and side rails shall be of size 25x65mm.Stiifeners of size 20mmx25mm three in nos shall be fixed as specified in drg..75x75x25 teak wood stopper shall be fixed with main frame and legs four nos each in every corner for the support of the cushion and seat ply.75mm thick 40 density cushion of approved foam(Kurlon/sleepwell) covered with approved tapestry cloth shall be fixed over 12mm thick ply as specified in drg.Side frame of back of the chair shall be of section 40x50mm..Four teak wood vertical stiffeners of section 20x30mm shall be fixed in back of chair. 25mm dia and 25mm high nylon buffers shall be provided to bottom of all legs.The curved teak wood back shall be of section 30x45mm.All sizes shall be taken as stated in specification, irrespective of what is shown on drg. All wood surfaces shall be french polished with high gloss finish of walnut shade.Rest all as per drg.

TABLE WRITING (FD-275) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 1145mm long, 600mm wide and 760mm high. DESCRIPTION:All wood shall be of first class hard teak wood except top and right hand side drawer cabinet. Legs shall be of 35mmx55mm in section and 717mm high having 5mmx5mm in section groove at the top of legs at the portion when placed in position. The top shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board of approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Two short stiffeners of teak wood of size 50mmx40mm in section irrespective of what is shown on drg shall be provided between legs at 100mm from bottom of legs. Sides of the box which house the drawer and cabinet shall be 18mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade. Sides and back of drawers shall be of 12mm thick teak wood planks. Bottom of drawers shall be of 6 mm thick plywood commercial.6mm thick plywood commercial 75mm high partition shall be provided in the drawer. Shutter for cabinet shall be fixed with piano type continuous hinges. Lock shall be provided to drawer and shutters. Recessed handle shall be provided to drawer and shutter.25mm dia and 25mm high rubber shoes shall be fixed to bottom of legs. FINISH: All wood surfaces shall be French polished with high gloss finish. Rest all as per drg.

HAT STAND WITH MIRROR (FD-362) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 1330 mm long, 710mm high. DESCRIPTION:The inner frame shall be of 50mmx20mm teak wood battens six in nos .The back and front of frame shall be covered with 6mm thick commercial ply.The edges of the frame shall be covered with 6mmx35mm teak wood edging fixed alround the frame with headless nails and adhesive.Six brass pegs 120mm long shall be fixed over the wooden membrane with brass screws as shown in drg.5mm thick looking mirror of (saint gobian,Modiguard/Atul) shall be provided as shown on drg with beading alround . Mild steel key plate shall be provided at both top corners of the hat stand. FINISH: All teak wood surfaces shall be given high gloss French polish with lacquer finish. All steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer. Rest all as per drgs

TABLE DRESSING GENTS WITH MIRROR (FD-379) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 900mm long, 300mm wide and 150mm high at bottom with support of mirror as 1115mm high. DESCRIPTION: The frame of mirror shall be overall size of 410mm wide and 790mm high, fixed at 150mm from top of lower base.The entire box shall be made of 12mm thick prelaminated MDF board except back and bottom which shall be of 12mm thick plywood .The sides of the drawers shall be made of 12mm thick commercial ply with bottom of 6 mm ply and front of 12mm thick prelaminated MDF board.The mirror of 380mmx760mm shall be provided with its wooden frame made of 25mmx35mm teak wood battens.The bach shall be of 6mm thick plywood.5.5mm thick mirror distortion free shall be provided on 6mm thick plywood backing..3mm thick flat iron key plates of MS.Two knobs of aluminium anodized dark brown in shade shall be provided to both the drawers. 25mmx25mm in section shall be provided at top of mirror and painted with black paint. FINISH:All wood surfaces shall be french polished with high gloss finish.

TABLE 3X2 WITH DRAWER 'W' (FD-283) DIMENSION:-Overall size shall be 900mmX600X760mm. Top Should be made up of 18 mm thick prelaminated MDF Board of color to be approved by Engr-in -Charge with mm teak wood edging The sides and back of drwer shall be of mm thick prelaminated MDF Board with telescopic channal fiited. All the timber parts should be of First Class teak Wood free from cracks, knots and any defect. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of french polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces Complete H shape Stiffners shall be provided. Rest all as per drg and direction obtained from Engr-in-Charge.

ALMIRAH MESS UTENSILE (FD-93(M)) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1065mm long, 455mm wide and 1670mm high. All wood shall be of first class hard wood teak (MP). Legs shall be 50mm square at top and 40mm square at bottom and shall 1 be 100mm high. 19mmx40mm teak wood stiffeners shall be provided between legs joining legs in short span and long span. Bottom half shall have cupboard covered with 19mm thick pre-laminated particleboard teak veneer on one side. and having two shutters hinged with sides with 50mm long butt hinges. Top of cup- board shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particleboard teak veneer on one side and other side plain. Cupboard shall have two 19mm thick teak wood shelves resting on 19mmx 12mm teak wood bearers fixed on sides equally spaced to make into three compartments. Bottom of cupboard shall have 19mm thick wooden plank. Sides of cupboard shall be made of 19mm thick teak wood planks. Back of Almirah shall be provided with 10mm thick plywood commercial. Top of Almirah Mess Utensils shall be of 19mm thick leak wood plank 200mm wide and 1065mm long. Top shelf shall have teak wood plank with plastic laminated sheet 1.5mm thick. A partition plank of 19mm thick teak wood shall be provided in vertical position405mm from left between bottom of top shelf and top of cupboard. A small shelf of 405mm shall be provided on the left side dividing the portion into equal half and shall have 12mm thick teak wood plank covered with 1.5mm thick plastic laminated sheet. Front of shelves and front of top of almirah shall be covered with 12mmx40mm teak wood facia upto entire length of shelf and top of almirah. Bottom cupboard shutters shall be provided with two numbers aluminium handles of 100mm long and two ball spring catches as shown on drawing. All wood surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be polished with two coats of melamine polish with spray machine after preparation of surfaces. Inside cupboard shall be given two coats of white enamel paint over a coat of primer as directed by GE.

SIDE BOARD (FD-1112) (a) TIMBER : All wood work shall be kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated Ist class hard wood (Teakwood). (b) BOARD : (i) 18/19 mm thick melamine faced pre-laminated particle board bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per IS-3087-1985 exterior grade BWR type and shall be ISI marking on the edges for top, front shutter, bottom and sides. (ii) 18/19mm thick and 12 mm thick melamine faced pre-laminated particle board bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per IS-3087-1985 exterior grade BWR type and shall be ISI marking on the edges for shelves and back respectively. (c) EDGING : Exposed edges of board shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood edging and shall be fixed as specified and directed. (d) PLY : 6mm thick ply for bottom of drawer shall be provided. (e) KNOB : 38mm dia anodised metalic knob (teak colour) as shown on drawings shall be provided. (f) POLISH : All exposed wood work and teak veneered surfaces shall be french polished. (g) REST : All as shown on drawing.

BATH MAT PVC (FD/E6/MAP/07) The Bath Mat PVC shall be made up of 5mm thick PPCP material .The size of the bath mat shall be 400mm Lx300mm Wx250mmH.The bath mat shall have centre leg of dia 25mm.The four legs shall be in arc shape and of size 10mmx100mm.The top of the bath mat shall have 3mmx10mm thick stiffener moulded along with the seat in single piece underneath. The weight of the bath mat shall not be less than 1.3 kgs. Make-AMKO or equivalent

SCH 'A' PART-II (STEEL FURNITURE)

LOCKER BED SIDE STEEL (FD-1029) DIMENSION: Overall size shall be 760mm long, 600mm wide and 1100mm high. DESCRIPTION: The locker shall be made of mild steel sheet 1mm thick.20 mm dia conduit pipe shall be chrome plated with wall thickness of 1.6 mm shall be fixed with side sockets.Two handles chromium plated 100mm long shall be fixed to shutters with necessary riveting . One hasp and staple 75mm long shall also be fixed to shutters with riveting.The left shutters shall be provided with 100mm long tower bolt inside at upper and lower ends also.The locker shall be provided with compartments as shown in drgs made of 1mm MS sheet. FINISH: All steel surface internally and externally, exposed to view when placed in position shall be given two coats of dual tone paint as directed by Engr-inCharge internally and externally after properly smoothened the surface with sand paper and applying putty.A Mark of MES shall also be provided at top left corner of front shutter of visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine. Rest all specifications are as per drg .

TABLE BED SIDE (FD/E6/MAP/15(R)) The overall size of the table bed side shall be 450mm x 450mm x 600mm from rear and 450mm x 450mm x 500mm from front as shown in drg.The entire frame of table bed side shall be made up of 18mm MS square pipe (18 Gauge) duly black powder coated. The two sides and top shall be made up of 18mm thick prelamainted particle board exterior grade. The Back of the table except the top portion as shown in drg shall be provided with 6mm commercial plywood BWR grade duly screwed to frame. The two sides, back and bottom of drawers of the table shall be made up of 12mm thick commercial plywood irrespective of what is shown on drg, except the front side which shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board exterior grade. The drawers shall be made functional on teak wood runners fixed inside the tables shown on drg.The drawers of the tables shall be provided with 100mm long CP handles .Rest all as per drg.

LADDER ALUMINIUM (FD-1025) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be of 2310mm long and 363.5mm wide. DESCRIPTION: The ladder shall be of Aluminium having wall thickness 3.18mm .Each rung shall be of 23mm dia aluminium pipe with wall thickness not less than 2.43mm and shall be eight in nos at equidistant space of 300mm in between as shown in drg.The stringer of ladder shall be 31.75mm wide and 3.18mm thick .Each alumnium pipe rung of 23 mm dia shall be fitted inside the stringer with end bend to shape and each rung on both sides shall be provided with hard rubber cap. Hard rubber caps/shoes shall be fixed at the ends of aluminium rungs and stringers as shown on drawing with screws. Rest all as shown on drawing.

TEAPOY VARANDAH (FD/E6/MAP/17)) Overall size shall be 700mm long 400mm wide and 540mm high. The legs, top centre stiffener, top rails and bottom rails shall be of 18mm square MS pipe of wall thickness 1.6 mm.Base tray made of 5mm dia MS bar 12x10 nos at equidistant shall be made and fixed as shown on drg.The top shall be of 18mm thick pre laminated particle board of approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Hard rubber shoe shall also be fixed to the bottom of each leg.The steel frame shall be painted with synthetic enamel black colour.Rest all as per drg.

TABLE OFFICE CLERK STEEL (FD-1004) DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 1200mm long, 610mm wide and 760mm high. DESCRIPTION:Steel frame shall be of size 1160x570x742mm .four legs of 25mm mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness shall be provided. Top of legs shall be joined together with 25mm square mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm in long and short sides. Two short stiffeners of same size shall be provided at 130mm from bottom of legs. One long stiffener shall also be provided to the middle of short stiffeners. Three drawers of equal size shall be provided on the right hand side above the stiffener at 130mm high with overall size of 350mm wide and 430mm high and 410mm deep..The top of table shall be provided with pre-laminated MDF board of 18/19mm thick with teak veener shade and 4mm thick teak wood edging alround the table .Hard rubber/PVC toes shall be provided to the legs.Locking device shall be provided to drawers. FINISH: All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of dual tone paint as directed by Engr-in-Charge internally and extrenally over a coat of red oxide primer with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine.Rest all as per drg.

TABLE OFFICE OFFICER (STEEL) (DRG No. FD-1003 SHEET ) (FD-1005) (a) Table officer’s steel shall be made to the shape, size and design as shown on drg and shall be manufactured in accordance with relevant IS. (b) Frame: Legs, top rails and stiffeners shall be of 25mm MS square tube 1.6 mm wall thickness. Thickness of MS sheet for various situations shall be 1mm nominal thick. (c) Drawer: Drawers shall be fabricated out of steel sections & MS sheet all as shown on drawings and shall be provided with PVC covering recessed handle and locking arrangement as shown on drawings. (d) Bending, welding, riveting, bolting, lapping, turning and other items/ fitting shall be done/provided as specified in relevant IS and as per trade engineering norms and pattern. (e) Wood work: Top shall be made out of 19mm thick melamine faced pre-laminated particle board 18/ 19mm thick bonded with phenol formaldehyde as per as per IS-3087-1985 exterior grade BWR type and shall be ISI marking on the edges. Exposed edges of board shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading all-round as directed by GE. (f) Legs shall be provided with rubber shoes with steel plate inside of appropriate size. (g) All exposed steel surfaces shall be spray painted with two coats dual tone paint as directed by Engr-in-Charge over a coat of red oxide primer. Teak wood beading shall be French polished. (h) All other items / fittings shall be as shown on drawing and provided as per relevant IS and trade engineering norms / pattern.

ALMIRAH LARGE STEELl 1/2 Hx1/2 S (FD-1033) Overall size of almirah large steel is 1900mm high, 910mm wide and 490mm deep. The MS sheet used for making sides, front, drawers, partitions, base and shelves of the almirah shall be of 20 gauge except the back which shall be of 22 gauge. Three shelves shall be fixed at an equidistant positions as shown in drg.The locker of the almirah shall be provided with safety handle and lock. The front two doors of the almirah shall be fixed with 75mm long hinges three on each side with proper rivet and welding. The weight of the locker shall not be less than 68 kgs The shelves shall be welded to sides and back of almirah internally as shown on drg.One chromium plated rod of 20mm dia shall be fixed at 75mm below the top for hanging purpose. The entire almirah shall be dual tone painted color as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Rest all as per drg.
