Cleaning, dusting and servicing LT panel ,MCCBS,Bus bars tightening cable connections, replacing of worn out parts such as busbar spout suppourts ,spacers,hinges,locks,glands and connected items/Mechanical parts etc for its smooth functioning including applying Becktrol red solution to the surface of the bus bars and spouts, applying Monoplast compound at the bus bar joints after tightening of joints ,cleaning the disturbed area beneath the LT panel and removing vegitation , derbis etc., complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Rate quoted deemed to include for removing and replacing of defective items where required, complete all as specified and directed.

Painting the LT Panel complete of any capacity after preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel (smoke grey) paint and old steel surafce , replace the Danger notice plate, complete all as specified and directed.

Danger notice plates, made out of 1.6mm thick MS sheet, vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT 20X15 cm size, fixed as in repairs, complete all as specified and directed.

Earth continuity conductor copper Strip 20 x 3 mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for direct/loop earthing with proper PVC/Porcelain insulator etc including taking down old unserviceable strip of any description and any size, complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of size 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 connected to earthing test point, testing on completion including taking down old earth pit of any type, complete all as specified and directed. Note : All earthing strips should be welded or brazing at each joint .

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25mm, drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete fixed on wall in and including sheet steel enclosure of thickness 2 mm thickness with locking arrangement, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair/Reconditiong of exisitng earth pit by removing damaged Earth PCC chambers and excavate pit soil upto 25% of earth plate/electrode and adding alternate layers of charcoal, mixture of salt and copper sulphate up to 15cm above the earth plate/electrode and moist the mixture using water , cleaning/replacing of funnel with wire mesh where ever necessary , contractor should ensure that the earthing resistance should be below 5 Ohms , making good to distrubed surface, complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1. Deemed including excavation, returning filling and connected items. 2. Salt , charcoal , copper Sulphate, pit chamber , Testing will be measured and paid seperatly

Supply only pure charcoal granular/aggregate type having Ash content < 5% , stone free for earthing, complete all as specified and directed.

Testing of earthing resistance of existing earth pits using calibrated 3/4 wire digital Earth resistance meter and contractor is responsible to arrange calibrated earth resistance meter and also maintain earth resistance register with user signature to be submited to concerned office, complete all as specified and directed.
