Maintenance of Command swimming pool of size of 50 mtr x 21 mtr and of capacity 7,50,000 gallons, combined diving and swimming basin, diving basin of depth 18ft, swimming pool of basic depth varies from 4ft, 6ft, 8ft and to meet to the desired level of cleanliness by adding the chemicals such as poly aluminum chloride (PAC) ,Chlorine granuels/ chlorine gas as dis-infection and other algaecides chemical through the respective dozing system with adequate quantity desired occultation and cleaning of swimming pool side walls, side gutter by pool cleaner and cleaning of bottom including deep , slope surface by under water cleanerand removing sediment particle from bottom by using suction sweeper and top up the water at required intervals without disturbing the swimming pool schedule of operation, quality of water to be checked frequently, complete all as specified and directed.

(Item No 01---Contd) Note :- The quoted rate shall be inclusive of the following :- (a) T & P such as oxygen mask, air compressor, Oxygen Cylinder, Safety rope, Brush Wire mess and all accessories reqd for under water cleaning of slope area at deep end including diving persons life insurance and any emergencies etc. (b) For cleaning of swimming pool contractor should not provide manpower less than two person daily including sunday and holiday and whenever required at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (c) Chemicals not covered under this BOQ shall be provided by the contractor (d) Following water standard parameters to be maintained on pool round the clock and parameter (i to v) to be checked and conformed on daily basis as per TI 03/2010 and rest of all to be conformed on monthly basis, cost of testing shall be deemed to be included in above quoted rate. i) Ph : 7.4 to 7.6 (ii) FRC : .5 to 1 PPM (iii) Total Allkanity: 75 ppm minimum (iv) Total hardness: 200 ppm minnimum (v) TDS: 500 ppm minimmum

Supply only chlorine gas in 100/900 Kgs cylinders to gravity feed gaseous chloronome plant, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Testing of cylinder and repairs to outlet valve of cylinders shall be the responsibility of the contractors and cost for applying mineral jelly to parts etc, deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate.

Supply only Copper suphate for removing of algaie from swimming pool, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only White Alum (crystal type), complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Calcium based granular disinfectant for water treatment having Chlorine content 65%-70% in 45 Kg drums, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only heavy duty Nylon brush suitable for using in existing make and model suction sweeping pump set at Commmand swimming pool, complete all as specified and directed.

Testing of water samples as per IS:10500 (Amended up to date) from any NABL approved laboratory tested for its parameters such as physical, chemical, and biological characteristics by collecting water samples in starilized and sealed containers as per relevant IS from various Swimming Pool / Water supply installations under the AoR of GE (U-II) (V) and submitting original test reports, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water testing shall be carried out minimum once in three months or as and when ordered / directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only self reinforced PVC 50mm dia helifier hose in suction sweeper pump at Swimming pool, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for overhauling of suction sweeping pump set of 3 HP to 5 HP capacity by disconnecting/ dismantling and replacement of unserviceable worn out bearings, renewal of worn out parts like shaft sleeves, oil seal / gland rope, rubber packing / coupling, greasing and connecting up and testing, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling or removing of suction sweeping pump set of any make and model, of capacity 3 HP to 5 HP from its installed position by disconnecting suction and delivery lines, disconnecting electrical cables, dismounting the pump and motor from trolley mounted platform, shifting to workshop, cutting and removing burnt out winding and rewinding with super enameled copper winding wire of existing gauge and number of turns including necessary insulation, varnishing, heating etc and bringing back, reinstalling on existing trolley mounted plaform and testing for satisfactory performance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repair of trolly of suction sweeping pump of 3 to 5 HP capacity by removing pumpset from trolly mounted platform and replacement of unserviceable wheels, replacing of corroded platform of MS/angles etc with required welding etc and connecting and reassembling as existing pumpset complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cleaning of UG sump/ balancing tank at commmand swimminng pool of up to 100000 litres capacity by pumping out the accumulated water in the bottom and removing the complete silt from the sump and depositing at a distance of 1.5KM outside defence land and levelling as directed and cleaning with bleaching powder and wire brushing the sump after scrapping the walls and bottoms of the sump completely without disturbing the filtration process to swimming pool including applying one coat of white wash internally and painting the sump with cement base paint on external surfaces and lettering the sump capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning on the sump wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M& L for cleaning of swimming pool of capacity 7.35 LG with sepearate diving pool at Command swimming pool by pumping out the accumulated water in the bottom and removing complete silt from the pool and depositing at a distance 1.5KM outside MD land and levelling as directed and cleaning with bleaching powder & tile cleaning acid and wire brushing the pool after scrapping the walls, bottom and around edges of the pool completely all as directed.

Comprehensive Maintenance of Chloronome plant gravity panel type at commmand swimming pool of capacity 0.60 Kgs per hour for chlorinating the swimming pool water, testing for leakages, rectifying the leakages and attending to required repairs, with and including replacement of spares of Chloronome plant for smooth and efficinet functioning without any breakdown complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and replace spare parts for chloronorm plant gravity feed as per sample including taking down the unserviceable spare parts of the Chloronation plant, complete all as specified and as directed:-

Supply and fixing in replacement of LED flood light 120 watt 230 V AC outdoor type with thermal management in multiple optics and equipped with IP66 protection, with impact and corrosion resistant complete with driver and lamps complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling or removing of centrifugal coupled / monoblock electric pump set of any make and model, of capacity 60 HP from its installed position by disconnecting suction and delivery lines, fixing dummy plate to both suction & delivery pipe, disconnecting electrical cables, earth strips and dismounting the pump and motor from base channel for overhauling / repair / rewinding of motor etc and reinstalling back in its original position, checking alignment and testing on completion for satisfactory performance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Overhauling, re-winding and spare parts required for repair shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Overhauling of pump set of any make and model by opening the pump and motor, replacing the worn out/defective spare parts, making good of shaft and shaft sleeve, cleaning internally, lubricating the rotating parts, re-assembling the pump and motor duly replacing all the packing material, worn out bolts, nuts, washers etc and testing for satisfactory performance of capacity 60 HP complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (i) Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary packing material, nuts, bolts & washers etc. (ii) Spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Supply and fix DOL starter in Sheet Steel Enclosure incorporating Heavy Duty 4 Pole Contactor with wide band operating coil, Overload relay with manual re-set and yellow flag for trip indication suitable for up to 10 HP, AC, 3 Phase, 415 V, 50Hz induction motor including taking down existing unserviceable starter of any description complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and replace Cast Iron sluice valve of size 200mm dia bore, having pressure rating PN 1.6, double flanged, non-rising stainless steel spindle with iron wheel conforming to IS:14846-2000 with jointing material i.e. new rubber gasket, GI nuts, bolts & washers etc of suitable size including taking down existing old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in repair Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint, complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for attending breakdowns / leakage complaints of underground pipe lines of any type and description such as DI/GI / CI / MS of size 80mm to 150mm bore dia by cleaning the pipe line surfaces, identifying the leakage / breakdown of pipe line, removing the damaged portion of pipe line from trenches by gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement, replacing with new pipe line / fittings / accessories by fixing / welding / threading as per site requirement and testing after completion for leak proof working complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC, Pipes, fittings, accessories etc as required at site shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" under relevant items of BOQ. However, the Quoted rate shall be inclusive of the following provisions:- (i) Breakdown / leakages should be attended and completed within 24 hours from the time of intimation to contractor by JE E/M / Engineer-in-Charge, failing which, penal recovery of Rs. 500 per hour shall be deducted from contractor dues.

(iii) Necessary arrangement for manual dewatering / dewatering pump as required at site to complete the work within the specified time. (iv) Necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipment, machinery and temporary lighting arrangement to work during night time etc as required at site shall be provided by the contractor.

Supply & laying MS ERW pipe of following dia heavy grade for fire fighting pipe line inserting in position, making leak proof joints including fittings and testing the pipe line for leakage, taking down unserviceable fire fighting line including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed:-
