DISMANTLING AND DEMOLISHING

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50m initial lead and upto 1000m, for all leads including all lifts involved.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 150 meters lead - For thickness of tiles above 25mm and upto 40mm.

Dismantling wooden partition including frame work in wood on both horizonatl & vertical members, 4mm vener sheet fixed on both sides and 5mm thick glass fixed with wooden lipping etc. Cost including dismantling of veneer, glasses & partitions etc and stacked in the place and disposal of unserviceable material within 150 meters lead as per direction of Enginner-in-charge

Supply of UNSKILLED LABOURS for shifting of the existing unwanted furniture items, dismantiled partition materials and all other unwanted items from the proposed XRD Room to the desired location as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. If lead shall more than 150 meters, the vechile will be arranged by the Department on Free of cost to the Contractor otherwise manually done by the Contractor. Cost including labours, necessary tolls & plants whatever required.

Dismantling aluminium / Gypsum / Modular partitions(double skin), doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 150 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc and stacking the material within 50 meters lead of - Asbestos cement sheets. Cost including all tools & plants wherever required.

Dismantling of existing modular sitting cubicals of size 1.50 x 1.50m of godrej make. Cost including loading, transporting, unloading of approved location (Approx - 200meters) or as directed by Engineer-inc-charge, for all leads including all lifts involved.

BRICK WORK

Brick work with common burnt clay non modular bricks of class designation 50 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in - cement mortar 1:6 (1cement : 6coarse sand)

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, susended floors, roofs having slope up to 15* landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing with 1:1.5:3 (1cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc and removal of form for:

Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level - Thermo mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

FINISHING

Wall plastering of 12mm thick cement plaster of mix 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand). Cost including all materials, Labours, Scaffoldings and curing etc.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface - Water thinnable cement primer.

Providing and applying of two coat white cement based putty of uniform thickness, of approved brand and manufactacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - Two or more coats on new/old work

Finishing walls with premium Acrylic smooth exterior paint with silicone additives of required shade - Old work - Two or more coats applied. Cost including cleaning the surface with water pump, necessary patch works, scaffolding etc as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Ceiling / Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - Two or more coats on old work

Polishing on wood work with ready mixed wax polish of approved brand and manufacture - New/old work. Cost includding rubbing the surface, application of sealear etc.

Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - Two or more coats on new/old work.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - Two or more coats on new work.

WOOD WORK

Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clearstory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with holdfast lugs or with dash fastners of required dia & length (hold fast lugs or dash fastners shall be paid for separately). - Second class teak wood

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters confirmed to IS:2202 (Part-I) decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched teak 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters - 30mm thick including ISI marked Brass butt hinges with necessary screws.

Providing and fixing bright finished brass tower bolts (barral type) with necessary screws etc. complete - 250x10mm

Providing 40x5mm flat iron hold fast 40cm long including fixing to frame with 10mm dia bolts, nuts and wooden plugs and embeding in cement concrete block 30x10x15cm 1:3:6 mix (1cement : 3coarse sand : 6graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

providing and fixing bright finished brass 100mm mortice latch and lock with 6 levers and a pair of lever handles of approved quality with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing bright finished brass hanging type floor door stopper with necessary screws etc., complete.

Providing and fixing aluminium extruded section body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with ISI, IS:3564, embassed on the body, door weight 36 kg to 80kg and door width 701mm to 1000mm), with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc., complete.

ROOFING

Providing and fixing tiled false ceiling of specified materials of size 595x595xmm in true horizontal level, suspended on inter locking metal grid of hot dipped galvanised steel sections (galvanized @ 120 gm/sqm, both side inclusive) consisting of main T-runner with suitably spaced joints to get required length and of size 24x38mm made from 0.30mm thick (minimum) sheet, spaced at 1200mm center to center and cross T of size 24x25mm made of 0.30mm thick (minimum) sheet, 1200mm long spaced between main T at 600mm center to center to form a grid of 1200x600mm and secondary cross T of length 600mm and size 24x25mm made of 0.30mm thick (minimum) sheet to be interlocked at middle of the 1200x600mm panel to form grids of 600x600mm and wall angle of size 24x24x0.3mm and laying false ceiling tiles of approved texture in the grid including, required. 12.5mm thick square edge PVC laminated Gypsum tile of size 595x595mm, made of Gypsum plaster board, manufactured from natural gypsum as per IS 2095 part-I and laminated with white 0.16mm thick fire retardant PVC film on the face side and 12 micron metalized polyester on the back side with all edges sealed with the face side PVC film which goes around and wraps the edges and is bonded to the tile a completely sealed unit.

Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile / tiled profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50mm (+0.05%) total coated thickness with zinc cozting 120 grams per sqm as per IS:277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 meter or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling / self tapping screws of size (5.5x55mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafter and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

Providing and fixing galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50mm (+0.05%) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS:277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling / self tapping screws complete - Ridges plain (500-600mm)

PARTITION WORK

Supplying and fixing of 75mm thick Modular type high partition with raceway on the bottom, 9mm thick laminated particle board on both sides with adequate vertical & horizontal barcings / supports as directed by the manufacturer specification. Cost including 10mm thick tempared glass on desired locations of partitions in lieu of 9mm thick particle boards, Laminated door with necessary hardware fittings like door closer, handle, hinges and locking arrangements etc as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Gypsum Board partitions - Providing 75mm thick stud partitions using C-stud and both side one layer of tapered edge 12mm thick gypsum board isnscrewed with drywll screws of 25mm at 300mm centers to eighter frame side of 48mm saint gobin gyproc ultra C-styud (0.5mm thick having one flange of 34mm amd another flange of 36mm made of GI steel finish galvanoszed 120GSM) placed at 610mm centre to centre in 50mm saint gobin ultra floor and ceiling using suitable anchor fastners or metal screws with nylon plugs. The board are to be fixed to the frame work with joints staggered to avoid leakage through joints. Finally squared and tapered egdes of the voards are to be jointed and finished so as to have a flush look which includes filling and finishing with gyproc jointing copound, Gyproc joint tape etc as per the direction of Enginner-in-charge.

Refixing of the existing dismantiled modular partitions including doors to the new desired locations as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Cost including necessary screws, bolt, nuts & rubber beadings and other hardware arrangements. For measurement purpose, front elevational area shall be measured.

Refixing the existing dismantiled godrej make modular sitting cubicals to the new desrired location as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Cost including the lead the materials from RPBD to new location (Approx. 250m distance), necssary materials & labours for make it as a working condition.

Supply of skilled carpenter / Aluminium Fabricator / Fitter for minor maintenance works etc as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Cost including labours, tools & plants whatever required.

FLOORING

Providing and laying Double charged vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thicknes to be spcified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, fixing with cement based high polymer modified quick-set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS:15477, in average 3mm thickness, jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete - Size of the tile - 600x600mm

Providing and laying Double charged Vitrified tiles in different size (thickness to be specified by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps, over 12mm thick bd of cement mortar 1:3 (1cement : 3coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc., complete - Size of tile 600x600mm

STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing welded tubular sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer - G.I.Pipes In grating, Handrail, guard bar railings etc and similar works. Location: - Pappanamcode Junction Island which is maintained by the NIIST. Cost including all materials, Labours, transport, own electrical & water supply arrangements by contractor and matching with the existing pattern etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Steel work in builtup tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc complete - Hot finished welded type tubes.

WATER SUPPLY

Providing and fixing Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipes, having for watersupply, including all PVC plain & brass threaded fittings, i/c fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step PVC solvent cement and the cost of cutting chases and making good the same including testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in charge - Concealed work, including cutting chases and making good the walls etc.
