Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights & depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soi, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling & wedging out rock ( where blasting is prohibited ). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge , in conformity with the requirement of technicalspecification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling & stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites & safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner including arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding including all leads and lifts. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not @ Rs. 300 /- ( Rupees Three hundred and paise nil ) only per Cubic metre shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public & private property during the course of excavation shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.The land for dumping site shall be arranged by the contractor himself and nothing extra shall be paid on his account.
Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road way cutting & excavation from drain & foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet the requirement of Table 300.1 & 300.2 as per Technical Specification clause 301.5 including hauling of materials within all leads & lifts & other incidential charges & as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing & technical specification for Rural Road August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring & bracing, removal of stumps & other deleteruious materials & disposal in all leads & lifts including dressing of sides & bottom & back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollation etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock ( where blasting is prohibited ). If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to sping seepage rain and other causes, it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responisibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.
Providing & laying plain/reinforced cement concrete Mechanically mixed & Vibrated in Sub-structure complete as per drawings & technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 Plain cement concrete grade M-15 ( fifteen ) nominal mix 1:2.5:5 ( One cement : two & half sand : five graded stone aggregate ) including cost of form work & curing complete including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts & other incidential complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
