Detailed Designing and Construction for ground improvement of Runway strip at Surat Airport as per tender technical specification (for the area as per drawing attached) including (a) Excavation of existing ground of Runway strip up to depth of 150mm by engaging the required Tools & Plants & manpower etc. resources and stacking of excavated earth beyond Runway strip within airport operational area. (b) Preparation of runway strip by mixing existing soil with suitable material as required or by adopting any other suitable method so as to achieve minimum effective field soaked CBR of 15 minimum at the depth of 150mm from top of existing ground surface including cost of material additionally as required, Labour, Tools and Plants, Carriage, disposal of surplus earth etc complete as per direction and up to the satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. (c) The stacked earth beyond runway strip shall be spread after the soil stabilization/ground improvement in proper slopes, as per tender technical specifications and including cost of Labour, all lift and lead within airport premises and Tools and Plants etc complete, Note- This work shall include preparation of Runway strip to achieve field soaked CBR value of 15 minimum at a depth of 150mm below the original ground surface. To achieve this objective, the contractor will undertake necessary soil investigation and design to develop method /procedure to prepare the ground to achieve above strength (CBR value).The design may involve use of admixtures with existing soil or replacement of existing soil with suitable material etc options. The design and procedure shall be vetted from reputed technical institutes (IIT/NIT). NOTE:- 1.Agency has to quote rate which shall be excluding GST. 2.GST shall be paid to the Agency for any taxable supply/Services against a valid tax invoice. 3.In case of non-compliance of GST provisions, the Agency shall be responsible for the same and shall indemnify AAI for the loss, if any, suffered by AAI.
