RENDERING SERVICES FOR MAINT OF ELECT SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS i.e. POWER HOUSE, SUB STATION, OVER HEAD LINES/ UNDERGROUND CABLE INCLUDING

Outsourcing of services for Main Receiving 11 KV Electrical Istallation (MRS Jutogh) by providing following staff in Three shifts per day daily, round the clock including Sunday and holiday for operation and maintenance of 11/0.440 KV single take over point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Duty will be performed as under:-

One (01) skilled Electrician per shift (each shift of 08 hours)

One (01) unskilled helper per shift (each shift of 08 hours)

Note:- Following duties shall be performed by the duty person deputed during shift hrs.

Maintain safety and security of MRS Electric installation as per direction.

The electric supply has to be maintained by carrying out effective comprehensive maintenance of HT/LT switch gears as per direction.

Maintain proper record of shut down , tripping, preventive maintenance and log books at MRS Jutogh.

Tightening of bus bar, nut bolts and control devices in HT/LT panel as preventive maintenance.

Cleaning and routine checking of HT/LT switchgears, PT,CT , Isolator , GOD, Transformer, lightning arrestor,earthing etc and repair/replacement of HT fuses and connected items all as directed. (Store will be supplied by the department).

Operate HT VCBs , GODs, Isolators , ACBs and other equipments at MRS Jutogh.

Outsourcing of maintenance services for external electric complaints to maintain external electric services by providing following staff in three shifts per day daily round the clock to rectify complaints related to LT / HT overhead conductors, underground cables, transformers, VCB, RMU, Feeder piller box, street lights, high mast lights, HT fuse , MCBs, GODs, insulators, streching and binding of loose conductors, Jumpering and connected external accessories incl preventive maintenance like treeming of tree branches to clear OH lines , cleaning of LT/HT switchgears, tightening the loose connections, checking the earthing resistance, taping on cable joints etc including Sunday and Holiday at Jutogh Cantt, Kelvin Groove, Kufri, IB shimla & Sanjauli station as per complaints received in complaint cell complete all as specfied and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Store required for complaints shall be issued by department.

Outsourcing of services for internal electric complaints by providing following staff in one shift per day daily including sunday and holiday at Jutogh Cantt, as per complaints received in complaint cell, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Store required for complaints shall be issued by department.

Two (02) skilled Electrician per shift (each shift of 08 hours)

Two (02) unskilled helper per shift (each shift of 08 hours)

Notes for Srl item No 1 to 3 :-

Proper Handing/Taking over of assets of the area and their safe custody will be ensured by the contractor. Deficiency of item will not be entertained at the end of the contract period. Any theft/loss occurred during the currency of the contract will be brought to the knowledge of Engr-in charge immediately.

The Contractors are being advised to visit the installation and HT/LT distribution network before quoting their rates. Further no excuse will be entertained on the pretext that machinery/ equipment installed at power houses/ distribution system on the basis of its function ability and vintage.

Maintain proper record of shut down , tripping, preventive maintenance.

Contractor will be responsible for Police verification of his staff.

Contractor will have no rights to object the work carrying out by other contractor at substation or HT/LT distribution system of the power house area under comprehensive maintenance. However necessary handing taking over of the assets will be carried out between the agencies.

Necessary T&P and safety equipments shall be provided by the contractor.

Proper Uniform shall be provided by the contractor.

Contractor will provide proper electrical & Fire safety instructions/guidlenes to his staff.Department is not liable in case of any accident.

Insurance of the staff employed in this contract shall be provided by the contractor as per labour laws and will submit the detail to Engr-in-Charge.

The contractor will observe all labour laws as per Central/State Deptt . He shall also ensure, payment of minimum wages to the staff employed in this contract.

Rate quoted against item Nos : 1 to 3 deemed to be included cost of tools and plants, transportation, Bonus, Uniform, Safety equipments, GST, LWC, EPF/ESIC etc.

The Electrician must be skilled ITI holder in appropriate trade and must be able to do maintenance, operation, handling and safety of 11/0.440 KV sub station , switch gears.

Contractor will submit Educational qualification/Experience Certificate alongwith ID proof, Photo, Bank Account Details, Police verification, ESIC/EPF details of his staff as per labour laws and get approval from Accepting officer .

All staff will wear uniform/dress on duty as approved by GE.

The operator has to carry out the weekly maintenance and cleaning of battery and charger.

The contractor will be responsible to keep the sub station and its surrounding area clean.

The operator will maintain all records in log sheet/log book of 11/0.440 KV sub stn including shut down/break down due to any reason from HPS Electricity board or internal and any shutdown / breakdwon shall be informed immediately to the concerned in-charge.

All earthing will be tested quaterly and records will be maintained in a register verified by Engr-in-Charge.

The contractor will ensure that his staff will carry cellphone in all shifts with incoming and outgoing facilities without any extra cost to department.

Any one absent on duty, a recovery at the double rate of quoted rate will be charged of respective Trade.

Contractor will ensure that proper record of ESI/EPF or any other is being maintained as per labour laws.

Contractor will be responsible for provinding First Aid medical Kit to all Electrician & helper.

Any compenents/fixtures/store reqd for complaints shall be issued from AGE E/M Store Yard.

Unserviceable items/store shall be diposited back to AGE E/M store.

Contractor also ensure to provide weekly off to the Tradesman/staff eployed as per labour law.

With each RAR Payment the contractor will deposit attendance register & bank statement as a proof of payment made to the staff with duly signed by Staff and Contractor.
