Labour for taking out old brick on end edging including removing debries to flank or berm sorting out servicible materials and stacking.

Labour for taking out brick-on-edge of herring bone bond including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.

Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris(a) single brick flat soling.

Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and consolidating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used). (d) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern on a layer of brick flat (thickness 75 mm. plus 125 mm)

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (b)brick on end edging(250 mm. depth)

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (f) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern over a layer of brick flat (thickness 125 mm plus 75 mm)

Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end. (ii)12.5 cm av. diameter.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm.and less than 15cm (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles (ii) 12.5 cm av diameter

Coal tarring on wooden surfaces including cost of materials (a) Two coat

Supplying empty Cement polythene bags in good condition

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Earthwork in excavation from borrow pits (land owned/arranged by the Department) and depositing in layers of 250 mm. including breaking clods in embankment works and to fill up back of abutments, depressions and ruts with an initial lead up to 50 m and initial lift up to 1.5 m making bunds at top as directed dressing complete. (Borrow pit measurement) (i) In ordinary soil

Earthwork for making embankments or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. including supply and carriage of earth by truck or cart or by other conveyance over land, including loading, transporting & unloading all lifts bothways and head load where necessary complete within a total lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking A) Beyond 1.00 Km. and upto 2.00 Km

For compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by the contractor add rs 25.00 per m3 extra over rate of E/W for land owned/arranged by the department. Royalty Charge on earth @ rs.29 per m3 & cesses charges @ rs.5.30 Per m3(i.e. rs 15.00 per cft.) as per government notification which will be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalties & cesses.

Supplying laying fitting & fixing R.C.C. spun pipes and collars with cement mortar (1:3) including fixing the pipes collars with jute, pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. (a) Spun pipe-300 dia, NP-2 Grade

Supplying R.C.C.spun pipes collars including loading, carriage, unloading at site. a)Collar-300 dia, NP-2 Grade.

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1.5:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitabfe means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost, including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks / ply wood / steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction b) where staging is not requied

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro- reflectorised sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm, 2 Nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)..
