15.28.1 Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, velleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead of :G.S. Sheet

12.50 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch ofcorrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+0.05%), total coatedthickness with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoidscratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling/selftapping screws of size (5.5x55mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters andtrusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.

10.16.1Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete.Hot finished welded type tubes

od Removing enamel pain by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

13.52.1Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.On steel work

13.65.1Painting with black anti- corrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade:Two or more coats on new work

od Supplying and fixing by cutting to required length/jointing by welding 20x20x1.5 mmthick stainless steel rectangular tube for fastening the roofing sheet by fixing the tube over the sheet ( over alternate purlins only) drilling necessary holes on the pipe to fixfastening with polymer coated J bolt and nut fixing with GI limpet and bitumenwashers etc. complete. The J end should be welded to the purlins firmly etc. complete as per departmental direction.

odProviding and fixing scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior or interiorside, upto two story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre,horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceablecondition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with thebuilding etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approvalof Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured forpayment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessarydeduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done .

odRe-fixing the existing GI sheet by tightening and fastening all loosened screws and J bolts using new galvanized steel J bolts and nuts fixing with GI limpets & bitumen washers ensuring proper alignment and water tightness complete in all respects as per departmental directions
