INTERIORS AND RELATED WORKS WALL PANELLING WORKS

Providing and Fixing Armstrong make Channeled Woodworks perforated Acoustic wall panels of width 192mm and in approved colour and finish, with thickness of 15mm and length 2400 mm, made of a Moisture Resistant fibre board with minimum 595 Kg/M3 density substrate with a laminated facing as per the approved shade & finish and a melamine balancing layer on the reverse side. The boards shall have a special perforation pattern where the visible surface has a “Helmholtz” fluted perforation of 3mm width and 13 mm/21 mm of visible panel each. The edges of the panels shall be “tongue-and-grooved” to receive special clips for installation. The back of the perforated panel shall have sound absorbing non-woven acoustical fleece having NRC of 0.60. NRC should be 0.85 with installation of 50 mm Glass wool(48 kg/m3 Density) and minimum 50mm Air gap. The panels shall be mounted on special aluminium splines (keel) using clips provided by Armstrong and approved by the Architect/ Engineer-in-Charge. Warranty Certificate and Test Reports for NRC and Fire rating – Class 2 as per BS 476(Flame Spread) shall be provided by Vendor. Complete for all levels and heights inclusive of all necessary hardware. Corner wooden mullions of size 13 mm x 13 mm, Bottom 4 mm thick waterproof plywood & open edge wooden profile of 13mm x 70mm to be included in this cost. Clear elevation area installed shall be considered for billing purpose and no wastage can be claimed additionally. For areas where the armstrong acosutic panelling is to be installed onto the door surface from inside, necessary labour towards removing and refixing the door shutter securely and neatly, to be included and not to be charged separately for fixing this acostic panelling on doors from inside.

Providing and Fixing Wall Panelling with 4 MM thick Veneer on 12mm thick Waterproof Ply of IS:710 grade (GreenPly, Century or equivalent) on Gyproc framing comprising of G.I studs 2400mm length x50mm web, flanges 15 & 50mm fully knurled in grid size of 600 x 600mm giving it high strength. Complete for all levels and heights inclusive of all necessary hardware. Price including necessary stained melamine polish on veneer after due surface preparation. The hollow portion of this panelling is acoustically insulated using 32 density Polyester wool insulation (50mm thick). For areas where the veneer panelling is to be installed onto the door surface from inside, necessary labour towards removing and refixing the door shutter securely and neatly, to be included and not to be charged separately for fixing this veneer panelling on doors from inside. Basic rate of Decorative Natural Veneer to be considered as Rs. 900/Sq M.

Providing, making and fixing fixed Solid wood Slat Screen Panelling made out of 10 mm thick SS outer frame infilled with Burma Teak Wood Slats, size, height and center to center spacing as per detail drawing, with 12 mm thick Waterproof Ply of IS:710 grade (GreenPly, Century or equivalent) backing finished and treated with stained melamine polish after due surface preparation. Exposed edges to be finished with teak wood frame, as per detail drawings. Wooden members shall be chemically treated, Kiln-seasoned, antitermite treated, shaped, grooved, mitered joint arrangement, mouldings, rebates, including use of approved water repellent adhesive, GI /SS screws, pins, etc.all exposed surfaces to be finished with Linseed oil of approved colour and shade, surfaces of frame in contact with masonry / concrete surfaces shall be painted with one coat of hot bitumen of approved quality, 3 nos. To be complete at all heights and leads as per the drawings, instructions and to the entire satisfaction of the PM.

Providing and Fixing fixed wall panelling using 12 mm thick Waterproof Ply of IS:710 (GreenPly, Century or equivalent) grade on internal IS:710 grade Plywood framing with 1mm thick decorative laminate of Sundek, Greenlam, Merinolam or equivalent make (as approved) stuck onto the outer ply surface using appropriate adhesive. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware.

Providing and fixing of 1.2 mm thick Stainless steel of SS 316 grade cladding in brushed finish as directed with necessary approved framework including 1 mm thick GI sheet with approved insulation of thermocol/rockwool/approved material with approved quality adhesive fixed in proper plumb and level. All edges to have rounded bend, radius to be as specified in drawing/mockup. Cost shall include appropriate sealer to resist stain and water absorption in approved backing, labour, inclusive of all leads, lifts, cleaning, polishing, etc., complete as per the drawing, instructions and to the satisfaction of the PM.

Providing and fixing of 1.2 mm thick Stainless steel of SS 316 grade cladding in brushed finish as directed with necessary approved framework and 25 mm thick Waterproof Ply of IS:710 grade (GreenPly, Century or equivalent) backing with approved quality adhesive fixed in proper plumb and level. All edges to have rounded bend, radius to be as specified in drawing/mockup. Cost shall include appropriate sealer to resist stain and water absorption in ply backing, labour, inclusive of all leads, lifts, cleaning, polishing, etc., complete as per the drawing, instructions and to the satisfaction of the PM.

Providing and fixing up-down blackboard system of Alkosign make of overall Size 1800 (L) X 2000 (H) comprising of 2mm thick three track sliding aluminium rectangular pipe section of black PC color having overall section size of 104 mm x 50 mm on all four sides specially extruded for up-down boards in approved anodized/powder-coated finish and having two 6mm thick back-painted textured black glass to be used as a chalk-board. Board frame also to be of Aluminium (12 mm x 12 mm), 0.9 mm thickness. Manual up-down mechanism using chain and sprockets, when one board goes up, the other board will come down (counter-balance). Fixing of this black-board system with the walls to be done using zinc plated wall mounting SS Screws and plastic rawl plugs. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardwares. Sample for Alkosign up-down board system (manual) to be approved by architect before execution.

Providing and fixing 9.5 mm thick Silance make acosutic polyester fibre board with NRC 0.6 as a Pin-up board panelling on plastered walls with 8mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of greenply, Centuryply or equivalent make) backing. The Silance make polyester fibre-boards shall be finished with fabric lining as approved. All softboards shall have laminate/ wooden lipping on all sides before stretching fabric lining to achieve sharp edges. The finished soft boards surfaces shall be without any creases or warps. The rates shall be including all hardware/ fixtures/ adhesive etc of approved make & for all sizes, all levels & heights. Basic rate of Fabric Lining over Soft-board to be considered as Rs. 350/Sq M.

Providing and fixing 12mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of greenply, Centuryply or equivalent make), with 6 mm thick White coloured Back-Painted Extra Clear Glass to use as White-Board, as approved, using necessary company approved adhesive, in pattern as specified in the drawings, including necessary glass edge polishing as needed. Price including all necessary cut-outs and holes in the glass as required, for installation of Switchboards, TV, AC units, Hardware fittings or any other such items. Cost to include all Seasoned teak wood members (as indicated in the drawings) and its melamine polishing to cover the open edges of the glass panelling. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware.

Providing and applying of Plaster of Paris Punning (with mesh), of minimum 12mm Thickness on walls/columns/beams/slab bottoms as directed. It shall be in perfect line, level and plumb,without cracks & joints, for all levels & for all heights.

CEILING WORK

Providing and fixing Veneer false ceiling system includes Saint-Gobain Gyproc's Gypserra™ Perimeter Channel {Material-GI(IS513),YS-260Mpa,Finish-Galvanised 150GSM(IS27 )} is fixed along the perimeter of existing wall/ partition with the help of HILTI HPS - 1 (6x40) impact anchor, at 600mm centres. Gypserra™ Ceiling Angle Material-GI(IS513),YS-260Mpa,Finish-Galvanised 150GSM(IS277)} is suspended by fixing it to the Gyproc® soffit cleat {GI(IS513)YS-260Mpa,Finish-Galvanised 150GSM(IS277) }. Soffit Cleat and Gyproc® Rawl Plug- Ø8x45mm {Material-IS 513 CR2 grade, Zinc coating (7 to 8 microns) pull out load- 6.8kN for M30 concrete grade} creating 1220mm x 1220mm grid. Gypserra™ Intermediate channel {Material-GI(IS513),YS-260Mpa,Finish-Galvanised 150GSM(IS277) } is fixed to the Gypserra™ Ceiling Angle with M6 x 12mm Hex Bolt & Hex Nut arrangement {Material–As per EN 10083 Finish – Zinc Plating} or with 2 Nos of Ø4.2x13 Gyproc® metal to metal screw {Material-Carbon steel EN-ISO 7049/50 Finish- Zinc Coating Thickness- 4.14micron.} The Gypserra™ Ceiling Section {Material-GI(IS513),YS-260Mpa,Finish-Galvanised 150GSM(IS277)} is then fixed to the Gypserra™ Intermediate Channel {Material-GI(IS513),YS-260Mpa,Finish-Galvanised 150GSM(IS277)} with the help of Gyproc® Connecting Clip {Material-High carbon spring steel 970Gr.En42)-46-48HRC,Finish-Zinc plating 4-6 micron} and in direction perpendicular to the Intermediate channel at 457mm c/c. Single layer of 12mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of Greenply, Centuryply or equivalent make) is then screw fixed to ceiling section with 25mm drywall screws {Material-Carbon steel EN-ISO 7049/50,Finish-Case hardened Grey Phosphating} at 230mm centres on ceiling section & 150mm at periphery of ceiling. Serrated section has effective thickness of 2T ( 2xdepth), better load carrying capacity, enhanced screw retention, Improved acoustic performance & fire resistance as compared to plain steel section. All Gypserra™ metal components are patent applied for. (Application No. 201741018271). All visible Plywood surfaces are to be cladded with 4mm thick Natural Decorative Veneer as per approval using necessary adhesives and hardware and in pattern as indicated in the drawings. All visible veneer surfaces are to be finished using necessary multiple coats of Stained Melamine Polish, as per approved shade after necessary surface preparation. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware. Basic Rate to be considered for Natural Decorative Veneer is Rs. 900/Sq M

Providing and fixing 25 mm thick Open Cell Nitrile Rubber, acoustic INSOUND FOAM insulation sheets (black/dark grey in colour) of INSOUND (inner engineering) or equivalent make of 1000 x 1000 mm size, fixed neatly and securely to the existing RCC slab bottom with necessary adhesives and screws. Complete for all heights and levels.

DOORS & PARTITIONS WORKS

Providing and fixing 230 mm thick hollow partition in TF Seminar room, out of plywood with TV niche using 18 &12 mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of greenply, Centuryply or equivalent make) is screw fixed to the internal MS hollow pipes' framework as maybe structurally required. The ply partition is then cladded from all visible sides with 6mm thick white coloured backpainted extra clear glass of Sanit-gobain, Asahi, Modiguard or equivalent make using necessary waterproof adhesive on all visible surfaces, as per the drawing. The hollow portion of this partition is acoustically insulated using 32 density Polyester wool insulation, in multiples of 50 mm thick layers to achieve the partition hollow thickness, as per drawing. The 230 mm wide portion visible in the passage is cladded with 4mm thick decorative natural veneer as approved and in fashion as detailed in the drawing and finished using stained melamine polish after due surface preparation. All cost towards chamfering, grooves to be included. Price including all necessary cut-outs and holes in the glass as required, for installation of Switchboards, T.V., Hardware, AC units, or any other such items. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware and adhesive.

120mm thick Gyproc partition with Paint finish on both sides : Providing and fixing 120mm thick Gypserra™ stud partition which includes single layer of tapered edge 13mm thick Gyproc® Duraline Boards (conforming to EN 520: 2004, A1:2009, Type A,D,R,I) of size 1220x2440mm is screw fixed to C-stud 92x0.5mm Gypserra™ C-stud {Material-IS 513,Y/S-300Mpa, Finish - AZ150 (IS 15961)} placed at 610mm c/c in 92x0.5mm Gypserra™{Material-IS 513,Y/S-300Mpa, Finish - AZ150 (IS 15961} floor and ceiling channel. Floor & Ceiling channel is anchored to the floor & True ceiling using Gyproc® Rawl plug Ø8x45mm {Material-IS 513 CR1 grade, Zinc coating, Pull Out Load-6.8kN for M30 concrete grade} /Hilti X-GN20MX anchor fasteners at 600mm c/c in zigzag manner. A Gypserra™ noggin channel {Material-IS 513,Y/S-300Mpa, Finish - AZ150 (IS 15961)} of 92x0.5mm width has to be provided at the horizontal joints of the two boards. Gyproc® boards to be screw fixed with Gyproc® Habito Drywall screws of 25mm at minimum spacing of 300mm at centre and 150mm at periphery. 50mm Glass wool slab of density 24kg/m³ shall be placed in metal framework. Glass wool holding clip should be used to hold Glass wool slab in its position. Finally square and tapered edges of the boards are to be jointed and finished so as to have a flush look which includes filling and finishing with Gyproc® Pro-Fill Jointing compound, (Conforms to ASTM C475), Gyproc® Joint Paper tape tape. The junction of the partition with masonry & all penetration through the partition has to be treated with Hilti/Pyroplex fire and acoustic sealant. Painting of partition shall be considered as a separate item. The cost for this partition will not change for any shape in Plan of the partition.

Providing and fixing Full height Glass fixed partition system comprising of central 12 mm thick white coloured toughened extra clear back painted glass of size 1650 x 2965 mm with two adjoining panes of 12 mm thick toughened clear glass of size 910mm X 2965mm each of Asahi, Saint-Gobain, Modiguard or equivalent make using top & bottom SS (grade 316) matte glazing section of approved size, in line and level, including any other hardware that maybe required in fixing this glass partition, as per design. Rates Including EPDM rubber on the periphery of the glass, snap beading, glazing clips, seasoned solid wood patties (PU coated), neutral cure weather Silicone sealant of Dow corning 789 etc. complete for all height / all levels / all floor in all shapes as per the architectural drawings and directions of engineer-in-charge. Clear visible area of glass shall be measured and paid and without any wastage. Complete for all heights and levels.

Providing and fixing wooden flush door comprising of 32 mm thick Waterproof wooden flush door shutters (solid blockboard core type) of IS 2202 (Part-1) grade with plywood face panels and having 6mm thick seasoned teakwood lipping patti all around. Rate should include all fittings like ss concealed hinges, ss handle , ss dead lock etc. of Dorma, Hafele, Hettich or equivalent make. Rate should include cost of teak wood frames 175 mm x 75 mm duly finished with approved Laminates, duco paint or stained melamine polish. Complete for all heights and levels, as per drawing.

For above item no. 3.6, in approved stained melamine polish in required coats of Asian Paints, MRF or equivalent make over 4mm thick Approved Natural Veneers on both the sides, after due surface preparation. Basic rate of Decorative Natural Veneer to be considered as Rs.900/Sq M.

For above item no. 3.6 but with cladding of 6mm thick white backpainted extra clear glass of Saintgobain, Asahi, Modiguard or equivalent make on one side of the shutter and other side to have stained melamine polish. Providing and fixing service door in 12-seater seminar room at FF out of 40 x 40 mm 16G internal MS framework with 12 mm waterproof Ply of IS:710 grade cladded on the outside and 6mm waterproof ply of IS:710 grade on the inside screw fixed to the internal MS framework as indicated in the drawings. The outer ply surface is cladded with 6mm thick white coloured backpainted extra clear glass of Saintgobain, Asahi, Modiguard or equivalent make using appropriate waterproof adhesive. Including necessayr hinges, pivots, push-pull magnets of Hafele, Hettich or equivalent make. Price including all necessary cut-outs and holes in the glass as required, for installation of Switchboards, T.V., Hardware, AC units, or any other such items. Providing and fixing 3M micro-layered translucent scotch-shield film to the glass panes with dow-corning 995 structural silicone adhesive to aggressively bond the glass and the film to the frame. Complete at all levels and all heights.

Providing and fixing the storage cabinets of a depth upto 450 mm, as per the drg provided. The carcass for the storage is made out of 18 mm thick waterproof grade ply of IS:710 grade (of Greenply, Century or equivalent make) with 12mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade shelves (with stained melamine polish of approved shade) of approved design with 20mm X 6mm seasoned teak wood beading putty, melamine poilshed on the front face fixed using the necessary adhesives, screws and nails. The shutters out of 12 mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade with 4mm thick decorative veneer on both the sides and seasoned TW beading patty on all four sides. The storage shutters to be finished with stained melamine polish finish after due surface preparation. This storage cabinet will have 50mm high base out of 18mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade with necessary seasoned teakwood edge beading and the skirting face will be of 50mm x 25 mm Polished Kota Stone / first quality teakwood member having stained melamine polish, as per design. All surfaces of the storage bookshelf to be finished with stained melamine polish finish after due surface preparation, of approved shade. Providing and fixing 26mm thick loose shelves (and depth upto 700 mm) in the faculty offices made out of 18 mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of Greenply, Century or equivalent make) with 4mm thick decorative veneer on top as well as bottom of the ply shelves fixed on seasoned teakwood patties on the masonary plastered walls, as per detail. All exposed thicknesses of the shelves to have 6mm thick seasoned teakwood lipping patty. All veneer as well as teakwood members to be finished using stained melamine polish, as per approval and after due surface preparation. EXTRA CLEAR BACK-PAINTED WHITE GLASS CARPENTRY ITEMS

Providing and fixing 6mm thick white coloured back-painted extra clear glass of Saint-gobain, Modiguard, Asahi or equivalent make on Plywood filler box, of upto 250mm depth, wherever required out of 12/18mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of Greenply, Century or equivalent make) as per detail and the glass to follow joint pattern as indicated in the drawings. Internal framing out of plywood as required for structural support. Price including all necessary cut-outs and holes in the glass as required, for installation of Switchboards, TV, AC units, Hardware fittings or any other such items. Providing and fixing Plywood filler box of upto 100mm depth, wherever required out of 18mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of Greenply, Century or equivalent make).Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware. Includes three coats of interior grade plastic paint of Asian Paints or equivalent make in approved shade, after necessary surface preparation and base coating.

Providing and fixing Plywood filler box in seminar room and classroom, of upto 900mm depth above pelmet, wherever required out of 18mm thick waterproof plywood of IS:710 grade (of Greenply, Century or equivalent make). Internal framing out of seasoned TW members of size 45mm x 45mm as required for structural support. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware.

The 250 mm deep 36mm thick ledge at 1200 mm lvl from FFL also to have 12 mm thick Corian cladded over the waterproof plywood using appropriate adhesive, as per drawing shared, All surfaces of Corian to be given satisfactory finish following necessary buffing process. Complete for all heights and levels using all necessary hardware and adhesives, as per the drawing.

Providing and fixing movable elliptical blackboard stand (with overall size 2400mmL X 650D x 2100H mm) on heavyduty wheels in the multipurpose room at TF, out of 12mm thick flexiply over MS internal framework out of hollow sections and flats, as detailed out in the drawing. The outer surface of the flexiply to be cladded with self-sticking 3M make chalk-board film in line and level and without any bubbles, warping or peeling of the film after surface preparation on ply and application of two coats of primer base on plywood surface. The MS frame work on heavyduty wheels to be finishes with enamel paint after necessary surface preparation. Complete for all heights and levels, including all necessary hardware.

Providing and installation of s3 Blinds make FR Perforated Blinds with 5% Openness factor. Fabric is made of 25% Polyester and 75% Green PVC material with Eco - friendly Non toxic PVC component. The thickness of fabric is 0.54mm (±5%) for straight rolling and the weight of the fabric is 415 g/sqm. (±5%). Fabric count per sq. inch for the fabric is 49 ends, 48 picks and the Tensile Strength of the fabric is - Warp 160, Weft 180. making it even when rolling up and down. Fabric is connected to 38 mm aluminum pipe made of virgin material for stiffness. The bottom the fabric is wraped with alumnium rod with end caps on both sides providing weight to the fabric and making the fabric straight . The Bottom rod should contain weight in order to keep the fabric straight. The top pipe is connected to a top bar for strenght and easy installation of blinds.
