Excavation for Structures A. Without Dewatreing Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and MoRD technical specifications Clause 305.1 ncluding setting out, construction of shoring & bracing, removal of stumps & other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of sides & bottom and backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable material. I. Ordinary Soil (i) Upto 3 m depth

Manufacturing of Cement concrete Block with mix 1:4: 8( 1 Cement : 4 River sand : 8 Jhama brick agreegate of 40 mm nominal size) including centering & shuttering of size 0.45 m X 0.45 m X 0.30 m and engraving the serial number of each block as per direction of the Engineer - in- Charge.

Placing of sand cement/cement concrete blocks of size 0.45m X 0.45m X 0.30m in slope of river bank and in river bed including preparation of bed or launching apron as per direction of the Engineer - in- Charge. (a) Cement concrete block

Supplying carrying and laying of inverted filter in slope of river banks below C.C . Blocks including preparation of subgrade etc.(Jhama aggregate of different sizes upto 40mm) as per drawing and direction of Engineer -in- charge.

Joining of CC Blocks of size 0.45mx 0.45mx 0.30m with 12 mm thick cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 river sand ) to make panels as per drawing and direction of Engineer- in- Charge. in slopes of embankments and River banks etc.

Providing & fitting fixing 80 mm dia G.I pipes as weep holes including cutting as per required length etc in the centre portion of each panel of blocks as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 301.5.

Turfing with Sods Furnishing and laying of the live sods of perennial turf forming grass on embankment slope , verges or other locations shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer including preparation of ground, fetching of sods and watering as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 309.
