SOIL INVESTIGATION AGAINST PROVN OF TWO NOS OF BORE WELL WITH SUMP OF CAPACITY 80000 GALLONS AT ADMIN AREA CPE ITARSI UNDER GE BHOPAL

Soil Investigation: (Bore Well: 02 Nos) Carrying out the test to ascertain soil/soft rock profile soil/soft rock profile to determination the safe bearing capacity complete with field and laboratory investigation according to releant IS specification of 1892-1904, 6603, 1490, 8009 and 2720. (a) Conduction 150mm bore diameter bores according to IS 1892-1988 and 1892-1979. (b) Conduction standard penetration test (SPT) as 2131-1988. The testing shall be made at every change in straters at the intervls of not more than 1.5mtr which ever is less. The test may be made at least intervals if specified or considered necessary as per 3.31 of IS 2131-1988. (c) Collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil/soft rock samples. At each interval of 1.35mtr or change of strata. (d) Conduction laboratory tests on disturbed/undisturbed (Soil/soft rock samples). As considered necessary according to the relevant of IS specification of 2720 as given below:- (i) Report safe bearing capacity at 1m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m and 3.0m depth. (ii) Separate reports (Hard copy - 3 Nos and soft copy - 1 Nos) will be submitted. (iii) Photographic record of equipment mobilised. (iv) GPS reading (+/- 10m) of each bore hole along with GPS reading of a standard Benchmark. (e) Conducting the above investigation in soil strata up to 6M depth. (f) Conducting the above investigation in soft/hard rock strata any depth.
