OUTSOURCING FOR MANNING AND OPERATION OF 11 KV VARIOUS ELECTRIC SUB STATION POWER HOUSE AND LIFTS AT ADE AND DEBEL UNDER GE I R D EAST BANGALORE

Providing services for Manning and operation of HT 11 KV/415 volts sub station for 3 shifts each of 8 hours duration in main Main Receiving sub station including operation and maintenance of Transformers, VCB, OCB, APFC PANEL, HT/LT switch gears systems, Street light control systems, HT/ LT Distribution systems etc. in the following sub stations No. 1,2,3,4,6,10 & 11, including operation of all systems round the clock in 3 shifts all as directed by Engineer-in-charge, (Details of equipment in the sub stations are shown in Annexure I to particular specifications) Electrician - 03 Nos ( 01. No. in First shift, 01 No. in Second Shift & 1 No. in Third Shift ) Helper - 03 Nos ( 01. No. in First shift, 01 No. in Second Shift & 1 No. in Third Shift)

(a) Contractor shall employ one electrician (Skilled) and one mate Electrician (helper) in each shift.

Shift Timings are as under :

Ist shift 0600 to 1400 hrs

IInd shift 1400 to 2200 hrs

IIIrd shift 2200 Hrs to 0600 hrs

(b) Reliever on Sundays and Holidays for all three shifts (01 Electrician & 01 Helper)

(c) The Contractor shall provide required tools, break down register complaint book/Slip, complaint register and attendence register and wages register etc and the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of rate for the above items and shall be submitted as and when asked by Engr-In-Charge/Accepting Officer.

(d) The labour element for replacement/ reliever is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by tenderer for item.

(e) The items required for replacement will be issued by the department as and when required.

(f) Cost shall be deemed to be include for cleaning of HT Sub station points/complaint cells and its surroundings of ADE/ DEBEL areas regularly.

(g) The Contractor shall provide uniform and shoes to all the staff employed and the following to be printed on uniform and the cost of same is deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted by the contractor (i) GE (I) R&D(EAST) (ii) Name of operator

(h) Cleaning of substation and including all round the sub station building area all as directed.

( j ) The Contractor will provide all the Documents, Register, Tools, Uniform, First Aid box etc at the duty places.

Providing services for Manning and operation of 8 passenger/good lift on all working day except Sunday and General Holidays to serve ground to three upper floors for one lift all as specified and directed. One Lift operator at DEBEL, One Lift operator at FTTT BUILDING ( Total 02 nos Lift Operator) Total 02 Nos Lift Operator (one operator for each Lift) Shift Timings : 0800 hrs to 0430 hrs with half and hour lunch break. Location : LIFT AT DEBEL Old Bldg & LIFT AT FTTT BUILDING AT ADE

(a) Contractor shall employ one Lift Operator in each shift. Shift timings are as under:-

Shift Timings : 0800 hrs to 0430 hrs with half and hour lunch break.

(b) The tradesman shall be provided with shoes, uniform with name badges with name of concerned MES office and all safety equipment as per IE rules and the unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the same.

(d) The Contractor shall provide required tools, break down register complaint book, attendence register and wages register etc and the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of rate for the above items and shall be submitted as and when asked by Engr-In-Charge/Accepting Officer.

(e) The labour element for reliever is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by tenderer for item.

Supply and replacement in repair of the following in existing panel of 63 to 100 Amps MCCB ,3 pole, 16 KA rupturing capacity

Fixing only of LED light fitting 2' x 2' of any Watts/ size/ make, Surface/ recessed mounting including provision of PVC round block covers and provision of flexible wire as required at site as directed. Note : LED Light fitting of any watts will be issued under Sch " B " under Free for fixing. Note : Old unserviceable fitting will be given to the contractor under Schedule of credit.

Fixing only LED slim down light Fitting, or any Watts/ size/ make including provision of PVC round block covers and provision of flexible wire as required at site as directed. Note : LED Light fitting of any watts will be issued under Sch " B " under Free for fixing. Note : Old unserviceable fitting will be given to the contractor under Schedule of credit.

Fixing only of Security light fittings of any size/ capacity including and provision of flexible wire as required at site as directed. Note : LED Light fitting of any watts will be issued under Sch " B " under Free for fixing. Note : Old unserviceable fitting will be given to the contractor under Schedule of credit.

Taking down old unserviceable existing LT Under ground cable from trench and Laying only LT UG Cable in trench all as specified and as directed. Note : ( a) LT UG Cable will be issued under Schedule " B " free for fixing. For the following size of cable. ( b ) Excavation, Returning & Filling, Removing, Sand Cushioning, bricks etc shall be paid and measured under releavent items. Note : Old unserviceable cable will be given to the contractor under Schedule of credit.

( a ) LT UG Cable size 25 to 95 sq. mm

( b ) LT UG Cable size 120 to 240 sq. mm

Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n exc. 1.5m in depth for taking out/laying cables in soft / loose soil all as directed.

Returning filling in, including, spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc. 25 cm all as directed..

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point all as directed.

Supply and laying of fire bricks of size 230 x 113 x 75 mm for cable protection in trench all as specified and as directed

M&L for sand filling (pulverized stone dust) for cable cushioning inducing spreading and levelling as directed Note - punned thickness only will be measured and paid

M&L for steel tubing GI medium grade for cable protection, passing under road/floor or for fixing to poles/walls all as specified and directed for the following sizes :-

Repairs to Hangar power doors by dismantalling of motor, gear box assembly and servicing of complete system, greasing and refixing the same and testing completely. Note : Spares as required for replacement will be maeasured and paid under relevant items.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Contactor suitable for rolling shutters all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge

Supply and fixing in replacement of Relay suitable for rolling shutters all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge

Supply and fixing in replacement of Limit switch suitable for rolling shutters all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge

Dismantalling of Motors of any make any capacity of 2/3/4/5 HP, Rewinding of motor completely including Proper varnishing, and refixing of the same at existing site, Connecting Testing & Commissioning etc.

Supply and fixing in replacement of bearing of any size suitable for existing motor including of applying of greasing etc. Make : SKF/NBC
