General note applicable to all sections : 1) Only sieved river sand/crushed stone sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 2) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers of suggestive makes as per annexure B of section VII) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) The contractor shall set up sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete. 4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. No extra payment will be made if concrete is brought from RMC plants outside the project area.
SECTION 'A' INFRASTRUCTURE WORK
Clearing Jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cm measured at height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 200m outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in -charge
Cutting and felling trees of girth beyond 30 cm up to and including 60 cm girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable materials complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Cutting and felling of trees of girth beyond 60 cm Girth up to and including 120 cm girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material inside project campus within the boundary at places shown etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Cutting and felling of trees of girth beyond 120cm Girth up to and including 240 cm girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material inside project campus within the boundary at places shown etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and laying, spreading and compacting Granular sub-base (GSB) material 300 mm thick (150 mm thick in each layer) compacted layer of crushed sand, murrum, gravel crushed stone and combination there of as per specification including spreading on the prepared sub grade, maintaining the required slope and grade and cross fall (camber) etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting hand broken/ crushed stone aggregate, 250 mm thick Wet Mix Macadam including premixing of material with water in mixing plant for Wet Mix Macadam, carriage of mixed material by tipers to the site and laying material in uniform thickness and laying by mechanical paver including rolling with road roller 8.10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber spreading and brooming etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)
Providing and laying Non Pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes of suggestive make, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes and as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including testing of joints etc. complete.

Excavation over area in all type of soils other than soft and hard rock in roadways /other areas within project campus with hydralic excavator including making suitable temporary pathway for the movement of excavator, tipper, dumper and other equipments, cutting,dewatering if required, loading, Transporting, unloading to embankment site with a lead upto 200 metres complete all as per drawing , Specifation and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.

Embankment/Subgrade construction for road using the sources within the campus with all type of soils including boulders including excavation at source with hydraulic excavator at all levels, formation, construction of embankment/ subgrade/ shoulder/ side slopes of embankment with same excavated soil including loading,Transporting, unloading to embakment site with following lead, spreading in layers and compacting each layer with 8 to 10 tonne power capacity vibratory power roller to acheive 95% proctor density,making suitable temperory approach road for the movement of excavator, tipper, dumper and other equipments, dewatering if required all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.

Construction of Embankment/ subgrade/ earthen shoulders with approved quality murrum/gravel brought from outside sources including Supply of all materials, in road works and the area wherever specified including breaking clods, storing, transportation, watering, with compacted thickness of each layer not exceeding 250mm with suitable vibratory roller/200mm thick with 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller to achieve 95% proctor density for embankment & 97% proctor density for Subgrade and Shoulders at optimum moisture content, all leads and lifts, bailing/ pumping out of water to keep site dry while backfilling. Cost shall include conveyance of all materials, labour, machinery, seigniorage charges etc. complete. The rate quoted shall include loading, unloading, hire and fuel charges for tools and plants and other incidental charges etc. The rate quoted shall also include compaction of original ground by vibratory power road roller, complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge. Additional Notes: The rate quoted for this item shall also include the following 1. Clearing & grubbing and removal of top 150 mm soil and compaction of the original ground with vibratory power roller to achieve hard and level surface including the disposal of removed top soil within a lead of 200 m from site boundary. 2. cutting, removing and disposing of all materials such as trees up to girth 30 cm (when measured 1 meter from ground), bushes, heavy and light jungles, shrubs, stumps , roots, grass, weeds, etc., 3. It shall include necessary excavation, backfilling of pits resulting from uprooting of trees and stumps to required compaction, handling, salvaging, and disposal of cleared materials. 4.Necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges and other charges to supply all the required construction materials. 5. Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade (using coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand) made by block making machines with strong vibratory compaction and approved size, shape, design laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of crushed sand, filling the joints with crushed sand. Cost including mix design of cement concrete, labour, materials, finishing, curing, testing etc. all complete as drawings and technical specification as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing at or near ground level precast cement concrete 1:2:4 in kerbs, edgings etc. as per approved patterns and setting in position with C.M 1:3 (using coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand) including consolidation, curing, cost of required centering, shuttering, smooth finishing smooth with 6mm thick cement plaster 1:3 ( using fine river sand/crushed stone sand) on exposed surfaces, transporting to site complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying prime coat using slow setting bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887/ASTM D2397 at the rate of minimum 0.75 kg per sqm on the prepared surface cleared with mechanical broomer, applied uniformly with the aid of emulsion pressure sprayer and spraying bar with nozzles including cost and conveyance of bitumen, labour charges, hire and operational charges all T&P, all taxes, etc complete as per specifications before laying Dense Bituminous Macadam all as per drawings, specification and as directed by Engineer-In- Charge.
Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion rapid setting conforming to IS:8887/ASTM D2397 at the rate of minimum 0.40 Kgs per sqm on the prepared surface cleared with mechanical broomer, applied uniformly with the aid of emulsion presure sprayer and spraying bar with nozzles including cost and conveyance of bitumen, labour charges, hire and operational charges all T&P, all taxes, etc. complete as per specifications before laying Dense Bituminous Concrete all as per drawings, specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and laying Dense Bituminous macadam on prepared surface with specified graded crushed stone aggregate using hot mixing of stone aggregate, filler and bitumen in hot mix plant, transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying the mixed material with paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the required level and grade and rolling by road roller to achieve the desired density and an average compacted thickness of 50/75 mm all as per specifications, with minimum 5.0% (percentage by weight of total mix) bitumen of VG-30 grade conforming to IS: 73 and cement filler @2% (percentage by weight of aggregate) all as per drawings, specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion rapid setting conforming to IS: 8887/ASTM D2397 at the rate of minimum 0.25 Kgs per sqm on the prepared bituminious surface cleared with mechanical broomer, applied uniformly with the aid of emulsion presure sprayer and spraying bar with nozzles including cost and conveyance of bitumen, labour charges, hire and operational charges all T&P, all taxes, etc. complete as per specifications before laying bituminous concrete all as per drawings, specification and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete on prepared surface with specified graded stone aggregate for wearing course including loading of aggregate with FE loader and hot mixing of bitumen with filler and stone aggregate in hot mix plant transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying the mixed material with mechanical paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the requied level and grade and rolling with road rollers, as per drawings, specification and to achieve the desired density and compaction but excluding cost of primer / tack coat 40mm/50mm compacted thickness with bitumen of VG-30 grade conforming to IS: 73 @ minimum 5.5% and cement filler @2% (percentage by weight of aggregate) and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and constructing Random Rubble masonry using approved Rubble stone in foundation and plinth in C.M 1:6 (using crushed sand) including raking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing below ground level / plinth level, curing etc. complete as per drawings and specifications.
SECTION 'B' EARTHWORK IN EXCAVATION
Note : The rate quoted for earthwork excavation by contractor is deemed to have included the following points (a) to (j) a) removal of all kinds of vegetation, small shrubs, light/heavy jungle etc., trees upto girth of 30 cm when measured 1 metre above ground level alongwith roots, including disposal/stack in the identified location. b) shoring, strutting, stepping, dressing, grading required for keeping the earth in position on sides of trenches with approved timber/steel accessories wherever necessary to prevent sides from falling including bailing or pumping out of water if necessary including removal of debris/unserviceable materials and excavated excess soil, if any. c) dewatering of both ground and surface water, including removal of slurry generated while excavation and keeping the area free from water, to be let out of the building area through proper pipes & channels if required by suitable pumps, d) watering, ramming and thoroughly consolidate the bottom of all excavations & ground before the construction of foundation/footing/plinth beam, filling in basement or other work is commenced.
e) the loose pockets shall be excavated and compacted after back filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge, as per detailed specification and conforming to safety rules during progress of the work. f) Contour levels to be taken jointly with the Engineer-in-charge and prior written approval be taken before starting any excavation/ filling at every 3 m grids for arriving at the actual quantity, g) Backfilling will be done in layers of thickness as specified below. h) Cost inclusive of necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges and other charges to supply all the required construction materials, i) cost of items shall include all labour charges, hire charges of machinery, lubricants, fuels and tests etc. j) Measurement/Payment will be reststicted to PCC/drawing dimensions only.

Providing, supplying and filling in the plinth and other approved locations with approved murrum/gravel brought from outside sources in layers of not more than 250 mm thick, compacted with vibratory rammer / floor compactor and consolidated including watering to achieve a minimum of 90% of proctor density at optimum moisture content,etc. complete all as per drawing, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (only consolidated thickness will be measured and paid for)
Filling of areas with soil/soft rock in and around foundations, under basement floors, in plinths, GSB grade formation and around building etc., including excavation at source, loading, transporting with a lead up to 2 km, unloading, removal of organic matter/roots/plastic/ all kinds of vegetation/small shrubs, etc., breaking of lumps and spreading in layers maximum compacted thickness of 250mm thick with suitable Earth rammers/vibro roller to achieve a minimum of 90% proctor density at optimum moisture content with all lifts, maintaining safe slope at source, bailing/ pumping out of water to keep the site dry while backfilling, etc. complete all as per drawings and Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: All necessary tests shall be conducted as per QAP and rate quoted shall include all tests.
Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion at the rates and concentrations as per IS 6313-2001 Part II for preconstructional antitermite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and alround the masonry pits, masonry foundations, wall trenches, plinth filling, junctions of wall and floor, expansion joints, surfaces of RCC works for a depth of min. 500 mm from the finished ground level, surrounding of pipes, conduits etc., walls retaining soil above floor level, apron and drain along the perimeter of the building including all byeworks complete as per specification / IS 6313:2001 or latest revision and direction of Engineer Incharge (only ground floor plinth area of the building will be measured for the payment in the following three stages. i) 20% after completion of the foundations ii) 50% after completion of the ground floor flooring iii) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows). Work to be executed by approved agency and specified guarantee for 10 (ten) years shall be furnished by the contractor.
SECTION 'C' PCC, RCC & FORMWORK
Notes applicable to PCC and RCC works: 1) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls,roads etc., for all heights and leads. 2) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 3) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar at no extra payment. 4) The design and drawings of formwork shall be submitted alongwith calculations for approval before commencement of work. 5) Wall ties passing through the walls will not be allowed. 6) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 crushed sand : 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20mm ) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering complete at all levels and as per drawings, specification and as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 crushed sand : 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels and as per drawings, specification and as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.
Providing and laying design mix reinforced cement concrete of M30 Grade for substructure works by weigh batching using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size and coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved Brand and quality, including handling & transportation, scaffolding, mechanical mixing, placing to required location by hoisting and / or pumping & mechanical vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing, hacking of concrete surfaces wherever required etc. complete at all levels in substructure/superstructure as per specifications & also including dewatering, if any, complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding formwork, shuttering and steel reinforcement. Note: 1) The minimum cement content shall be 390kg/Cum of concrete. However, actual cement content required shall be based on design mix requirements carried out at BARC approved (NABL accredited) laboratory. In case the cement quantity consumed more than the specified above, the cost towards extra cement will not be paid. 2)Temparature raised due to heat of hydration shall be kept within limits in raft/mass concrete by keeping proper curing mechanism.
i) Sub Structure - up to Plinth Level.

Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of grade M-20 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticisers / super plasticisers), weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specification
i) Sub Structure - up to Plinth Level.
ii) Super Structure - up to 20.00 metre height
Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of Grade M-25 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including admixtures of approved brand and quality (plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required, including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications
i) Sub Structure - up to Plinth Level.

1200 mm dia RCC pipes. (Laying by manual/ mechanical means)
Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using Film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for all types of structures including necessary strutting, steel frame work/H-beams, steel proping, staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge Note: 1) This item is applicable for all PCC and RCC structural elements like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels, chajjas, walls etc., for all heights and leads. 2) Only steel scaffolding, staging, supporting system to the formwork and steel frame work will have to be used for all RCC structural elements. 3) All surfaces adjacent to EPs, etc., shall be in true line and level & irregularities, if any, shall be rounded by mechanical grinding, chiseling, finishing the same using epoxy silica sand mortar at no extra payment. 4) The design and drawings of formwork shall be submitted alongwith calculations for approval before commencement of work. 5) Form finish F3 shall be provided to all exposed surfaces of the concrete. 6) Wall ties passing through the walls will not be allowed.

Providing and fixing in position DURABOARD HD-100 Joint Filler board in expansion joints to the required size and shape, placing and keeping in position complete all as per drawings, technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The payment for higher width of expansion joint shall be made as multiples of respective board thickness.

Providing, supplying and sealing the expansion joints and grooves around machine foundation with Gungrade Polysulphide sealant suitable for Expansion Joints of suggestive make as per annexure B of section VII by removing the expansion joint board up to 25 mm deep and cleaning the suface neatly and filling Gungrade sealent up to 25 mm deep to the lines and levels complete all as per drawings and technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The payment for higher width of expansion joint shall be made as multiples of respective board thickness.

SECTION 'E' MASONRY WORKS
Note for Brick masonary works : a) Reinforcement will be measured & paid for separately under relevant item. b) RCC band and formwork shall not be measured seperatly, however no deductions will be made in brickwork for the same. c) No holes in brickwall will be allowed for scaffolding. Only double tubular steel scaffolding be allowed. Note for flyash bricks: In the fly ash bricks the mix confirming to the strength mentioned in the respective items shall be got approved by the department. The mix shall consist of ordinary portland cement content of not less than 20%(preferably) of the mixture consisting of Fly ash, OPC and Gypsum or any variation in proportion of design mix shall be submitted to BARC for approval. The Anhydraous Gypsum, Fly Ash, Cement, Crusher dust and other materials shall confirm to the the relevant IS codes. The Anhydrous Gypsum shall be procured from a reputed source approved by the department. Roller mixer shall be used for good homogeneous mixing.
Providing and constructing 100/150/200/230mm (or as directed) thick masonry at all elevations with approved quality Fly ash/ FAL-G bricks having minimum crushing strength 60 Kgs/Sq.cm, water absorption of maximum 20% and Maximum Drying shrinkage 0.15. Masonry work with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 river sand/ crushed stone sand) uniformly mixed in machine with approved 'non-shrinking compound' as per manufacturer’s instruction in specified courses of approved bond also providing horizonatal RCC band of 100/150/200mm x 100 mm (or as directed) at about 1.00 m c/c with 2 nos. 8 mm dia Tor bars and 8 mm dia links at 300 mm c/c in cement concrete (1:2:4), required formwork, complete including pointing, raking out joints, curing, cleaning, including independent double legged scaffolding, at all heights, depths and leads, dewatering area where required etc., all as per typical drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note :1) Only anodized aluminium sections, aluminum beading, aluminium sheets & aluminium handles used will be measured for payment. Grid system for fixing ceiling tiles shall comprise of tees. The 24 mm main tee runers shall be suspended at an interval of 1200 mm centre to centre. The 24 mm cross tee runner shall be suspended at an interval of 600 mm centre to centre and further supported with 24 mm cross tee with inter locking arrangements to form a Grid of 600 mm x 600 mm. The main tee shall be supported by means of 4 mm G.I.rod from slab / roof. SECTION 'J' WATERPROOFING WORKS
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment With Average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc. consisting of following operations: (i) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement by pump using 2.75 Kgs / sq.m of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 over RCC slab including adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (ii) Providing and laying 20 mm thick plastering using cement mortar 1:5 (with coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding (Vatta) of junctions of walls and slabs. The entire surface shall be ponded with water for a period of 3 days and observed for leakage if any. In case any leakage is observed, the effected area shall be sealed by grouting with cement and shall be checked again for any leakages and this process shall be repeated till no further leakages are observed. (iii) Laying brick bats set in cement mortar 1:5 using broken brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding (Vatta) of junctions of walls and slabs. The entire surface shall be ponded with water for a period of 10 days and observe for leakage if any. In case of any leakage observed, the effected area shall be sealed by grouting with cement and further leakage to be checked for again. (iv) After 10 days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (v) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixing ''polyster fibre of suggestive make' at the rate of 125 grams per 50 Kgs of Cement in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300 X 300 mm square, 3 mm deep. (vi) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 2 weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order, complete all as per technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall provide 10 year guarantee for waterproofing on approved proforma.
Extra over 120 mm thick Cement based water proofing for Providing and Laying Brick bat coba in Roof, laying brick bats set in with cement mortar using broken brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% Escalation of cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar 1:5 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope. (Measurement will be over and above the average thickness of 120 mm only) Contractor shall provide 10 year guarantee for waterproofing on approved proforma.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portions of WCs, bath rooms etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying: (a) 1st layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kgs / sq.m mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 Kgs per sq.m. including injecting cement slurry. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) 2nd layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242Kgs / sq.m mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 Kgs / sq.m. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. (c)Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound confirming to IS 2645 and, complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge including mixing ''polyster fibre of suggestive make' at the rate of 125 grams per 50 Kgs at the rate of 125 grams per 50 Kgs of Cement in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry in bottom and all the sides of sunken portion. The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry. The treatment to be tested for water tightness before filling the sunken areas, Cost quoted shall include all materials and labourand as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall provide 10 year guarantee for waterproofing on approved proforma.

Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing (BOX TYPE) on horizontal surfaces to the Basement, UG tanks, sumps, Retaining walls, below grade slab, Lift Pits, Trenches & other underground structures at all levels/depths complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, and consisting of: (i) Ist layer of 25mm thick approved and specified Cuddapah rough stone slab over a 25mm thick base of cement mortar (1:3) (using coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand) mixing with water proofing compound confirming to IS:2645 in the proportion recommended by the manufacturer over PCC levelling course (PCC Levelling course to be paid for separately), joints to be sealed and grouted with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound. (ii) 2nd layer of 25mm thick cement mortar (1:3) (using coarse river sand/ crushed stone sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions. (iii) Finishing top with stone aggregate of 10mm to 12mm nominal size spreading @ 0.8 Cum per 100 sq.m thoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer. The total thickness of waterproofing treatment shall be about 75 mm. The contractor shall provide 10 years of guarantee in the format accepted by department.

The total thickness of water- proofing treatment shall be about 55 to 60 mm. The contractor shall provide 10 years of guarantee in the format accepted by the department.
Providing and applying 20 mm thick waterproofing plastering to the concrete and masonry surfaces, with cement mortar of ratio cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 screened river sand) mixed uniformly by machine with approved polypropylene fibres and mixing of approved water proof compound as per recommendations of the approved manufacturer or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, including raking out joints, hacking concrete surfaces and applying with approved chemical bonding agent, preparing junctions of concrete / masonry by neat cleaning, grouting with non-shrink mortar etc., at all heights and depths, leads and lifts, curing, etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. cost including conduting the water tightness test by filling and storing the water for 72 hours. a) System shall consist of preparation of surfaces including ‘V’ grooves at junctions and joints, pressure grouting the same and curing. b) Applying cement slurry admixed with approved bonding agent recommended by manufacturer and allowed to cure. c) Walls plastering and finished smooth with about 20 mm thick with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 screened river sand) using recommended proportion of waterproofing compound and polypropylene fibers. d) Making required wattas, rounding of corners; with 1:4 (1 cement : 4 screened river sand) admixed with waterproofing compound of recommended proportion and making junctions with walls and floor finished smooth, including and cured. e) Tank shall be tested by filling the water and maintaining it for 72 hrs. to check leakages. Contractor shall provide 10 year guarantee for waterproofing on approved proforma.

SECTION 'N' GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION
PART -I. INSITU TESTS
Setting up of boring rig at each location, for each borehole location only once for each borehole location including moves between borehole position, locating and marking the location on the ground by actual survey, setting up all field test equipment and bringing all personnel to the location, making area good for setting up rig etc. complete. (receiving boreholes of cross borehole test are also to be setup) Any criss-cross or back and forth movement of the rig can take place, all as per specification & drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. Total 5 Nos. of setting of boring rigs locations are for individual boreholes locations as per drawings (issued to successful bidders). 2. The setting up of 4 nos. of receiver boreholes spaced in orthogonal directions at 3/4m and 6/8m apart from the source borehole (source borehole would be any one of 25 main bore holes, as per drawings (issued to successful bidders)) corresponding to cross borehole test shall not be paid seperately.
Boring vertically through all kinds of soils, weathered rock and soft rock boulders if any, met during drilling with suitable and adequate equipment of diameter 116 / 150 mm or more for all depths measured below existing ground level at rig location, casing shall be provided wherever required & as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Core recovery of 20% and less is also considered as boring through soil,weathered rock and soft rock boulders.
Drilling vertically through bedrock strata (Hard rock), using Nx size diamond bit, using double tube core barrel with suitable core catcher, including collection and logging of cores, placing them in approved core boxes made of Fibre Reinforced polymer of standard size, numbering and indexing each core, noting the lithology, colour photographs (100X150mm size) of rock cores, locking arrangements, labeling and transporting the boxes to core store/laboratory for the following depths measured from existing ground level all as per with requirements as per IS:4078 and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Conducting Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) soil, soft and weathered rock at every change in stratum or 1.5m, whichever is less, as per IS:2131, and collecting, packaging and labelling disturbed soil/rock samples above and with a part of the distrubed soil samples from SPT sampler to be coated with paraffin wax and sealed immediately after collection to completely retain all moisture within the sample ( to be used in laboratory for Grain Sieve Analysis, hydrometer or pipette analysis, Liquid Limit, Plastic Limit, Plastic Index, Specific Gravity, chemical analysis and any other tests), and other part of the sample to be collected, packaged, sealed, labelled and to be placed in core boxes all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Conducting Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) in soil, soft and weathered rock at every change in stratum or 1.5m, whichever is less, as per IS:2131, and collecting, packaging, sealing and labelling disturbed soil/rock samples and to be placed in core boxes all all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Conducting Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) in rock with RQD greater than 10% and less than up to 25% as per IS:2131, including replacement of SPT shoe by a new SPT shoe for each SPT all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
* NOTE for Item No 338, 339 340: Standard penetration test shall be conducted at 1.5m interval. Sequence of conducting SPT shall be changed in each bore hole. Say for first bore hole SPT started at 1.5 m depth then 3.0 m, 4.5m……….. etc. For next bore hole it shall be started at 1m depth then 2.5m, 4.0m …… etc. Similiarly for other bore holes. So that staggered value of SPT’s obtained for entire site.
Conducting Single packer permeability test in weathered and hard rock up to maximum effective pressure of 10Kg/sq.cm for each rocky stratum or at depth corresponding to RQD values of 25%, 50% and 75%, all as per IS:5529 (Part 2). Each unit of this item shall consist of a series of tests with pressure of three(3) equal increments to the maximum and three(3) equal decrements etc., as per specifications and as directed by Engineer- In- Charge.
Conducting Double Packer Cyclic Permeability test in weathered and hard rock upto maximum effective pressure of 10Kg/sq.cm, for each rocky stratum or at depth corrosponding to RQD values of 25%, 50% and 75%, all as per IS:5529 (Part 2). Each unit of this item shall consist of a series of three tests with pressure of three(3) equal increments to the maximum and three(3) equal decrements etc., as per specificationsand as directed by Engineer-In- Charge.
Conducting Pressuremeter Test as per IS:12955 (Part 2)/ ASTM D4719 in NX size bore holes in specified boreholes for each soil stratum at specified depths in soil stratum as well as in weathered and hard rock at depths corresponding to each rocky strata preferably at interval of 5m as well as at depth corresponding to the RQD in the order of of 25%, 50% and 75% with Electronic Probe for a pressure upto 200bar or failure which occurs earlier and submitting parameters (like Deformation modulus, Elastic modulus, shear modulus, limiting pressure, Creep pressure, Coefficient of Elastic uniform compression and safe allowable bearing pressure, pile load capacity and associated settlements of foundations, piles and pile group etc. and all data required as mentioned in specifications), all as per specification and as directed by Engineer-In-charge.

PART -II. LABORATORY TESTS
(A) TESTS ON SOIL
Conducting grain sieve analysis of soil(Sieve analysis & Hydrometer analysis) and submission of grain size distribution curve as per IS:2720(Part-4) of the soil (SPT/UDS) samples and Classification of soil as per IS:1498 for every soil stratum in each borehole in alternate and staggered manner to represent each soil stratum. Sutability of Soil for various purpose shall be reported as directed by the Engineer In Charge. ** Note: Distribution curve, Cu, Cc, D50 and soil classification shall be mentioned in the report.

Conducting tests for Atterberg/Consistency Limits (SPT/UDS) samples such as Liquid limits, Plastic limits, Plasticity Index, Shrinkage limits, Shrinkage ratio to represent each soil stratum and submission of reports complete geotechnical characterization and engineering properties of soil as per specifications and IS:2720(Part 5&6) and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Chemical analysis of undisturbed soil samples or disturbed SPT soil samples coated with wax including Total soluble solids, Organic matter, pH, total Soluble sulphates (as SO3 & SO4), chlorides, Nitrate Contents, chemical salinity and any other chemicals harmful to the foundation material as per IS:2720 (Part 21, 22, 26, 27) as per specifications and as directed by Engineer In Charge.
Same as in Item No. 358 above, but on 2:1 water:soil extract of the soil samples, giving sulphates as SO3 only.
Chemical analysis of sub soil water samples, including colour, odour, turbidity, pH, Specific conductivity at 25 deg. and carbonates, nitrate, organic matter, sulphates as SO3, chlorides, soluble salt content etc as per IS:3025 for one or more water samples collected from each boreholes and submission of report as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Consolidation tests on undisturbed soil samples or on soil samples representative to each soil stratum compacted to specified density, giving full test results including unit weights, specific gravity, e-log p curve, virgin curve, pre-consolidation pressure (P0), initial and final void ratios, compression index(Cc), coefficient of permeability(Cv), coefficient of compressibility(av) and coefficient of volume change(mv) and t50 or t90 for all pressure increments etc and settlement calculations as per IS: 2720 (Part-15) & as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (Tests without presentation of lab test readings for individual load increments and consolidated report as per APPENDIX A and B of the IS:2720 (Part-15) and without these results the test shall not be paid.)
Unconfined Compressive Strength test on undisturbed soil samples of cohesive soils of each soil stratum as per IS:2720 (Part- 10) along with submision of report of compression strength, undrained shear strength and bearing capacity as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Conducting Direct shear test in consolidated drained condition on undisturbed soil samples or soil samples compacted to specified density and submiting full test report including lab readings of complete test, cohesion and angle of friction (CD test), shear strength etc. Tests to be conducted as per IS:2720 (Part-13) or as per IS:2720 (Part-39) for soils containing gravel) and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Conducting Triaxial Shear Strength Test on undisturbed soil samples or on soil samples compacted to specified density representative to each soil stratum. Tests to be conducted along with submission of test reports including lab observation readings, cohession and angle of internal friction, shear strength envelope, stress-strain behaviour, poissions ratio and elastic modulus as per specifications and IS:2720(Part-11&12) and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Conducting Unconfined compressive strength of rock core at depths corresponding to RQD=25%, 50% and 75% or corresponding to each rocky strata with submission of Unconfined compressive strength of intact rock as per procedure in IS:9143 and stress-strain curve, poissions raatio and deformation modulus as per IS:9221 and specification as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Point load strength index test on rock core at depths corresponding to RQD=25%, 50% and 75% or corresponding to each rocky strata as per IS:8764 and as per specifications as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Brazilian test on rock core at depths corresponding to RQD=25%, 50% and 75% or corrosponding to each rocky strata along with submittion of tensile strngth as per IS:10082 and as per specifications as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Conducting Triaxial compression test on rock core with internal pressure up to 160kg/sq.cm on minimum 3 samples with 3 different confining pressures, at depths corrosponding to RQD=25%, 50% and 75% or corrosponding to each rocky strata as per procedure in IS:13047or ASTM D 2664-86 and submission of report including cohession and angle of inter friction, shear strength envelope along with stress-strain curve, poissions raatio and deformation modulus as per specification as directed by Engineer in Charge.
PART -III. REPORT
Preparation and submission of Three (3) hard copies of Draft reports as specified followed by Five (5) hard copies of Final report of Geotechnical Investigations as detailed in specifications along with FIve (5) soft copies of the same on the DVD along with bore hole location drawing. Field and laboratory record sheets shall also to be submitted.
SECTION 'O' HORTICULTURE
Trenching in ordinary soil up to a depth of 60 cm including removal and stacking of serviceable materials and then disposing of surplus soil, by spreading and neatly levelling within a lead of 50 m and making up the trenched area to proper levels by refilling with earth or earth mixed with sludge or / and manure before and after flooding trench with water (excluding cost of red earth, sludge or manure).
Supplying and stacking of good earth at site including royalty and carriage upto 5 km lead complete (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment).

Street Light /peripheral light Timer Unit: Fabrication, supply and installation of Street Light Timer unit consists of clock timer and LDR system for automatically energising the out door lighting circuit. The box shall also contain one 16 Ampere 3 pole contactor with 240 V coil, 3 pole 16 amps incomer MCB, timer bypass switch, 6 Nos. of 16 Amps single pole out going MCBs, connectors, power and control wiring all enclosed in a suitably sized MS heavy duty, powder coated box with hinged door, gland plate, gasket all as directed at site.
MPCB Box: Fabrication, supply and installation of 415 Volts, 16 A, TP, motor protection circuit breaker (MPCB) box with neutral link with enclosure box. The box shall be of MS powder coated and adequately sized for fixing 3 Ph., 415V, 16 Amps MPCB and neutral link with provision and space for entry and termination of 3 Nos. of 4 Core X 2.5 sq. mm. armoured cables. The MPCB toggle switch shall project outside the box through cutout.
UPS power outlet box (protected type): The outlet shall consists of a 6A 3 pin modular socket in a PVC box enclosed in another suitably sized MS powder coated box. The socket and the plug top shall not be visible/accessible without removing the top cover of metallic box. Scope shall also include a 6 A single pole MCB mounted inside the metallic box with its handle protruding out. Suitable slit shall be made in the bottom of metal box for removing the plug top without disconnecting cable from plug top. The box shall be of surface mounting type with distinct colour powder coated for identification. Scope includes fabrication, supply , installation wiring termination and commissioning.
