SCH 'A' PART-I (WOODEN FURNITURE)

Almirah Mess Utencils (FD-93) (a) All timber should be of first class hard wood wel seasoned teak. All faces of wood shall be wrought. (b) 18/19mm thick first class hard/teak wood board exterior grade one side decorated teak finish & shall be used wherever 18/19 mm thick block board is specified 4 mm thick teak wood edging shall be provided on the exposed deges of boards. (c) Sliding glass shutters of 5.5mm thick glass pane with aluminium channel & roller shall be provided to the upper portion of almirah irrespective of what is shown on drg. (d) Base should be strong strainght from first class hard wood. Finishes :- All exposed surfaces of timber shall be finished with french polish after properly smoothing of surfaces with emery paper & shall be finished in natural glossy teak shade Rest all as per Drg.

Bin linen Multipurpose (FD/E6/MAP/09) Overall size shall be of 1000mm long, 380mm wide and 760mm high. Bottom rest shall be made of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board(one side) and shall be 900mm long and 280mm wide and 75mm hih joined together in long and short sides. Multipurpose bin linen shall be placed over it. The bin shall be 1000mm long, 380mm wide and 385mm high. Back side shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board 1000mm long and 685mm high. Sides shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board 380mm wide and 685mm high. Top and bottom shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board 1000mm long and 380mm wide. A vertical partition shall be provided at 400mm from inner face of left hand side which shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board. A shelf shall be provided in the middle of left portion which shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board and shall remain uncovered. Two drawers and a cupboard shall be provided on the right hand side. of the bin. Bottom, sides, back and front of drawers shall be of 12mm thick pre-laminated partcle board. The partition between the drawers shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board. Front shutter of cupboard shall be hinged with continuous piano type hing and shall be side hung. The shutter shall have eight vertical slots of 19mm width and 180mm high with gap of 19mm made in the center of the shutter. The shutter shall be provided with 100mm long mild steel powder coated handle and ball spring catch as shown on drawing. 19mm thick pre-laminated particle board 543 mm long and 40mm wide shall be provided as base support in the front under the drawers. Teak wood bearers two numbers shall be of 20mmx20mm in section and fixed to drawers. Teak wood bearers two numbers shall be of 20mmx20mm in section and fixed to drawers on the outer sides in such a way that it rns smoothly over the beares fixed on the the sides of the partitions of the bin. A handle shall be fixed in the center of the each drawer with 100mm long powder coated mild steel. All front edges of pre-laminated particle bd shall be fixed with 4mm thick teak wood edging as shown on drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The shutter shall have 4mm thick teak wood edging all round its edges. All exposed surfaces of teak wood shall be given high gloss French polish with lacquer finish. ON right hand side top of bin an abestos sheet plain shall be provided which shall be 6mm thick and 230mm.

SOFA SET 3 SEATER WITH CUSHIONS (FD-373) DIMENSION : Overall size of the three seat shall be 1730mm long, 745mm wide and 530mm high. DESCRIPTION: The set consist of one long piece of three seat only.Well seasoned teak wood throughout in frame work shall be used for manufacturing of sofa.All wood shall be of first class teak wood (MP) legs of sofa set shall be 70mm x35mm in section teak wood . Front legs shall be jointed by 100mm x 35mm in section wooden rail in front .Front and rear legs shall be joined with 100mm x 35mm in section wooden rails in sides.100mm thick cushion of 40 density covered with best quality tapestry cloth (approved by GE , not less than Rs:300/meter) shall be provided at seat and back as directed by Engr-In-Charge. Make of cushion-kurlon/sleepwell/nindiya. FINISH :All wooden surfaces internally and externally shall be melamine polished with high lacquer finish of walnut shade after properly smoothened the surface with sand emery paper.Rest all specifications are as per drg.

CHAIR REVOLVING (FD/E6/MAP/01) DIMENSION: The Base pedestal assembly of chair computer shall be of dia 700mm and 1060mm high. DESCRIPTION: The chair revolving shall be high back type with push back and tilt mechanism of hydraulic base with PU soft arms.The pedestal assembly shall be provided with injection moulded in black 30% glass filled nylon. A 10.5mm dia forged bright Zinc plated MS Castor Pin is of press fitted into each prong for holding the castors. The seat and back of the chair computer shall be made of 12mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with fabric and moulded polyurethane foam. The back form shall be designed with contour lumber support for extra comfort with PVC lipping allround.The back rest shall be adjustable and consist of drop lift mechanism and shall be adjusted in the insert .It shall be scratch and weather resistant. Rest all as per drg and as per sample approved by BSO/GE. CHAIR WOODEN BOTTOM (FD-285) DIMENSION:-Overall size shall be 445mm long,440mm wide and 835mm high DESCRIPTION:-.Timber shall be seasoned teak wood Ist Quality.Front legs shall be of size 30mmx55mm in section and 435mm highand rear legs shall be of section30x55mm and 815mm high.The legs shall be joined by front ,sides, rear rails made to shape out of 30mmx65mm in section.Two side stiffeners in short rails shall be provided of 20mmx25mm in section.One stiffener of 20mmx25mm shall also be provided at centre of both sise stiffeners joining the sides stiffenres.12MM thick decorative plywood with perforated holes 5MM dia at centre in a radius of 5 inch shall be fixed over the frame of the chair irrespective of what is shown on drg. . All Diamensions, shape and size shall be followed as per drg. All joints, fixing shall be done in accordance with standard specifications. Rest all as shown on drg. FINISH:-All wooden expose surfaces shall be french polished two coats after preparation of surfaces

PEG TABLE (FD-384) Overalll size shall be 380mm long, 380mm wide and 380 mm high. Top, sides and back shall be of 19mm thick pre-laminated particle bd/18mm thick MDF bd. Front side shall remain open and bottom shall be recessed at 20mm from front side and shall be of pre-laminated particle bd and shall be 50mm from bottom. Front edges shall be provided with 4mm thick teak wood edging. At sides and back joints 17mmx17mm teak wood beading shall be provided as shown on drawing and as directed by Engineer- in -charge.

STOOL DRESSING CUSHIONED (FD/E6/MAP-II/07) Overall size shall be 450 mm long,300mm wide and 380mm high. DESCRIPTION:All wood shall be Ist class teak wood.The size of the legs shall be of size 50mmx30mm .The size of the three bottom stiffener shall be of size 19mmx25mm.The size of the top rails shall be of size 25mmx65mm.12mm thick commercial plywood shall be fixed over the top rails for seat .The seat of the stool shall be made of 75mm thick foam cushion of 32 density duly covered with best quality tapestry cloth.Rest all as per drg. FINISH:All wood surface exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with lacquer finish rest.Rest all as per drg.

SOFA 5 SEATER 3+1+1 PIECES (FD/MAP-II/02) Overall size of three seat piece shall be 1730mm long, 745mm wide and 530mm high up to arm rest level.Overall size of one piece shall be 670mm long and 745 mm wide and 530mm high up to arm rest level. DESCRIPTION: The sofa set to seat five shall consist of one large three seat piece and two small one seat pieces.. All wood shall be of first class teak wood (MP) legs of sofa set shall be 70mm x35mm in section teak wood . Front legs shall be jointed by 100mm x 35mm in section wooden rail in front . Front and rear legs shall be joined with 100mm x 35mm in section wooden rails in sides. 100mm thick seat cushion and back cushions shall be of size 530mm x 560mm (three numbers in seat and three numbers in the back for the large seat). In one seat sofa chair the cushion shall be one in back and one in seat of size 530mm x 560mm. The cushion shall be of cool foam or any other superior quality foam of 32 density as approved by Engineer-in-charge.Cushion shall be covered with approved color tapestry cloth(approved by GE , not less than Rs:300/meter) or as directed by Engineer-in-charge. FINISH:All wood surface exposed to view when placed in position shall be French polished with lacquer finish rest.Rest all as per drg.

CHAIR DINING (FD/E6/MAP/10(R)) Overall size shall be 440mm long, 440mm wide and 890mm high. Front legs shall be of teak wood and 35mmx55mm in section and 460mm high. Rear legs shall be of teak wood 35mmx55mm in section and 890mm high. Front legs shall be joined withrear legs by teak wood seat frame which shall be of 30mmx55mm in section and made to shape as shown on drawing. 20mmx200 teak wood stiffeners shall be provided on sides joining front and rear legs at 100mm from bottom of seat frame. Two back rails of teak wood 20mmx45mm in section made to shape out of 30mmx45mm teak wood shall be profided between the rear legs as back rest. Front and side rails of seat shall be of 30mmx55mm. DRESSING TABLE INCLUDING STOOL (FD/MAP-II/07) The overall size of the table dressing shall be 1150mm long 380mm wide and 1700mm high. The sides, top ,back and front of the base unit shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board. The bottom of the side units shall be of 12mm thick commercial plywood. The sides and back drawers shall be of 12mm thick prelaminated MDF ,bottom of the drawers shall be of 6mm thick commercial ply whereas the front of the drawers shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board.5mm thick electro copper plated mirror shall be fixed over 6mm thick plywood back. The plywood shall be fixed on two vertical hardwood member of size 45mmx35mm .a horizontal support of size 30mmx20mm shall be provided in between two vertical members. The Overall size of the stool shall be 440mm long 350mm wide and 425mm high. The four sides shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF .The top of the stool shall be of 12mm thick plywood openable as shown in drg.Four heavy duty revolving nylon double wheels shall be provided at hinges.Lock shall be provided to drawer and shutters.Recessed handle shall be provided to drawer and shutters.25mm dia and 25 mm high rubber shoes shall be fixed to bottom of legs. FINISH:All wood surfaces shall be french polished with gloss finish

TABLE DRESSING GENTS WITH MIRROR (FD-230) DIMENSION :-Overall size shall be 900mm long, 300mm wide and 150mm high at bottom with support of mirror as 1115mm high. DESCRIPTION: The frame of mirror shall be overall size of 410mm wide and 790mm high, fixed at 150mm from top of lower base.The entire box shall be made of 12mm thick prelaminated MDF board except back and bottom which shall be of 12mm thick plywood .The sides of the drawers shall be made of 12mm thick commercial ply with bottom of 6 mm ply and front of 12mm thick prelaminated MDF board.The mirror of 380mmx760mm shall be provided with its wooden frame made of 25mmx35mm teak wood battens.The bach shall be of 6mm thick plywood.5.5mm thick mirror distortion free shall be provided on 6mm thick plywood backing..3mm thick flat iron key plates of MS.Two knobs of aluminium anodized dark brown in shade shall be provided to both the drawers. 25mmx25mm in section shall be provided at top of mirror and painted with black paint. FINISH: All wood surfaces shall be french polished with high gloss finish

CHAIR DINING OFFICERS (FD/MAP-II/04) Overall size shall be 950mm high,450mm wide and 450mm deep.The size of the legs shall be 40x50mm .Front and side rails shall be of size 25x65mm.Stiifeners of size 20mmx25mm three in nos shall be fixed as specified in drg..75x75x25 teak wood stopper shall be fixed with main frame and legs four nos each in every corner for the support of the cushion and seat ply.75mm thick 40 density cushion of approved foam(Kurlon/sleepwell) covered with approved tapestry cloth shall be fixed over 12mm thick ply as specified in drg.Side frame of back of the chair shall be of section 40x50mm..Four teak wood vertical stiffeners of section 20x30mm shall be fixed in back of chair. 25mm dia and 25mm high nylon buffers shall be provided to bottom of all legs.The curved teak wood back shall be of section 30x45mm.All sizes shall be taken as stated in specification, irrespective of what is shown on drg. All wood surfaces shall be lacquer polished with high gloss finish of walnut shade.Rest all as per drg.

TABLE WRITING (FD-275). DIMENSION:Overall size shall be 1145mm long, 600mm wide and 760mm high. DESCRIPTION:All wood shall be of first class hard teak wood except top and right hand side drawer cabinet. Legs shall be of 35mmx55mm in section and 717mm high having 5mmx5mm in section groove at the top of legs at the portion when placed in position. The top shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated MDF board of approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Two short stiffeners of teak wood of size 50mmx40mm in section irrespective of what is shown on drg shall be provided between legs at 100mm from bottom of legs. Sides of the box which house the drawer and cabinet shall be 18mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade. Sides and back of drawers shall be of 12mm thick teak wood planks. Bottom of drawers shall be of 6 mm thick plywood commercial.6mm thick plywood commercial 75mm high partition shall be provided in the drawer. Shutter for cabinet shall be fixed with piano type continuous hinges. Lock shall be provided to drawer and shutters. Recessed handle shall be provided to drawer and shutter.25mm dia and 25mm high rubber shoes shall be fixed to bottom of legs. FINISH: All wood surfaces shall be French polished with high gloss finish. Rest all as per drg.

SCH 'A' PART-II (STEEL FURNITURE)

TABLE BED SIDE (FD/E6/MAP/15 (R)) The overall size of the table bed side shall be 450mm x 450mm x 600mm from rear and 450mm x 450mm x 500mm from front as shown in drg.The entire frame of table bed side shall be made up of 18mm MS square pipe (18 Gauge) duly black powder coated. The two sides and top shall be made up of 18mm thick prelamainted particle board exterior grade. The Back of the table except the top portion as shown in drg shall be provided with 6mm commercial plywood BWR grade duly screwed to frame. The two sides, back and bottom of drawers of the table shall be made up of 12mm thick commercial plywood irrespective of what is shown on drg, except the front side which shall be of 18mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade. The drawers shall be made functional on teak wood runners fixed inside the tables shown on drg.The drawers of the tables shall be provided with 100mm long CP handles .Rest all as per drg.

CHARPOY IP HARD TOP (FD/MAP-II/01) Overall size shall be 1980mm long, 900mm wide and 440mm high. DESCRIPTION: Two long rails and two short rails shall be of 25mmx65mmx16 guage MS rectangular pipe .The legs shall be of size 32mmx32mmx16 guage welded to long and short rails as shown on drg.Two stiffeners of size 25mmx25mmx16 guage shall be provided in equidistant between two opposite long rails. Six number cleat of size 25mmx60mmx6mm shall be welded with frame to support ply. Two stiffeners joining legs of size 25mmx25mmx16 guage shall be provided at 150mm from ground level .12mm thick commercial plywood shall be provided for top as shown on drg with proper nut and bolt .PVC hard rubber shoes shall be fixed at bottom of each legs. FINISH: All steel surfaces shall be Pre treated with epoxy powder caoted oven baked with black colour.

Almirah large steel with shelves (FD-1031) DIMENSION:- Overall size shall be 1985mm high,920mm wide and 485mm deep. DESCRIPTION:-The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channel bases made in U shaped with ends covered . Mild steel sheet shall be 1mm thick. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of the length of 920mm and shall be up to full width of 485mm and shall be 100mm high Top, sides bottom and back of almirah shall be of 1mm thick mild steel sheet . Four shelves equally spaced of 1mm thick mild steel sheet shall be provided to make five compartments.Front shutter shall two leaves of equal size .Front shutter leaves shall have three butt hinges of 75mm fixed to each shutter and shall be side hung. All joints and welding and fixing shall be done in accordance with the standard workmanship. HANDLE: One chromium plated steel handle with a locking device shall be provided as shown on drawing . LOCKING DEVICE:The locking device shall be three way locking device and shall also be provided with decorative key plate .Make of Lock-Harrison/Godrej. FINISH:-All steel surfaces exposed to view when placed in position shall be painted with two coats of silver grey hammer paint internally and extrenally with spray machine after preparation of surfaces.A mark of MES shall also be provided on top left corner of front shutter with visible colour. Painting shall be done with spray machine.Rest all as per drg.

BATH MAT PVC (FD/E6/MAP/07) DIMENSION :The size of the bath mat shall be 400mm L x 300mm W x 250mmH. DESCRIPTION: The Bath Mat PVC shall be made up of 5mm thick PPCP material .The bath mat shall have centre leg of dia 25mm.The four legs shall be in arc shape and of size 10mmx100mm.The top of the bath mat shall have 3mmx10mm thick stiffener moulded along with the seat in single piece underneath. The weight of the bath mat shall not be less than 1.3 kgs. Make-AMKO or equivalent

BED HARD (FD/E6/MAP/08 (R)) Overall size shall be 2050mm long, 900mm wide and 400mm high. All Steel shall be MS Square pipe of 18 Gauge. The head board shall be 800mm high and Foot board shall be 500mm high. The frame of head board and foot board shall be of 38mmx38mm MS square pipe.18mmx18mm MS square pipe shall be provided in the inner of head board frame/foot board frame as shown in drg.18mm thick both side decorative prelaminated particle board of walnut shade with PVC edging shall be screwed to MS strip arc welded to 18mm thick rectangular pipe with standard workmanship both in head board/foot board..25mmx65mm rectangular CR pipe shall be used to make the long rails and short rails of bed hard and welding shall be done for fixing long rails to the legs irrespective of what is shown on drg.One stiffener of size 25mmx25mm shall be welded between the two legs of headboard over 150mm from the ground level. The top of bed hard shall be of 12mm thick BWR ply of approved make fixed over the four equidistant stiffener of size 25mmx25mm SQ MS pipe in line with bottom of 25x65mm long rail section. PVC shoes shall be provided to legs of bed.All metal /iron work shall be treated with synthetic enamel black after doing two coats of metal primer.Rest all as per drg.

Book Shelf Open (Small) Steel (FD-69 (M)) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 915mm long,305mm wide and 990mm high.All Specification and Dimension are as per Drg.

TABLE CENTRE GLASS TOP (FD-375) Overall size shall be 1200X600X400 mm. Legs shall be of 40mm dia anodized brass legs, four in number in one piece. The legs shall be joined in short and long sides with two number 25mm dia brass pipes of wall thickness 2mm. The top pipe shall be fixed 150mm from top and the lower pipe shall be at 100 from bottom of top pipe The brass frame shall be 900mm long and 450mm wide. Vaacuum rubber sho shall be provided at top of legs, which shall be closed with brass sheet 1.6mm thick. The bottom of legs shall be covered with brass sheet of 1.6mm thick sheet. The bottom of legs shall have PVC shoes. The top shall be 10mm thick plate tinted glass (white colour) with corners rounded as shown drawing, the edges of top of table shall be rounded off.

DESK (FD-107(M)) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 1220mm long. 530mm wide and 840mm high. Steel frame shall be of 1270mmx430mmx810mm. Legs shall be four in numbers and shall be made in inverted U-shape and shall be made of 25mm dia. Mild steel tube of wall thickness 1.6mm with front height as 760mm and rear height of legs shall be 810mm. Two short stiffeners 380 long joining legs in short side at 100 mm from bottom of legs and sheall be provided of 25mm dia mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness. A long stiffener joining the short stiffeners in the middle shall be provided with 1220mm long and 25mm dia tube of wall thickness 1.6mm. Two 1220mm long bearers shall be provided for the support of desk and shall be provided at 615mm from bottom of legs Desk shall be made of 18mm thick pre-laminated particle board of natural teak veneer shade made as box with front side open and top sloping with PVC edging on front side irrespective of what is shown on drawing. The size of desk shall be 1220mmx530mm and MAke-Supereq model No E-101, Make-methodex model No MHB or as directed. FINISH: All wood surface exposed to view when placed in position shall be french polished with lacquer finish rest all as per drg and shall be side hung. The shutter shall have eight vertical slots of 19mm width and 180mm high with gap of 19mm made in the center of the shutter.The shutter shall be provided with 100mm.

Back form shall be designed with contoured lumber support for extra comfort.120mm thick hot pressed plywood upholstered with superior quality fabric and moulded polyurethane foam with PVC lipping alround shall be provided at seat and back.PU arms shall be of superior quality and reinforced with MS insert.It shall be scratch and wheather resistant..Steel portion of chair shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of black colour over a coat of primer.Rest all specifications are as per drg and directed by Engr-In-Charge

LADDER ALUMINIUM (FD-1025) Overall size shall be of 2310mm long and 363.5mm wide. DESCRIPTION: The ladder shall be of Aluminium having wall thickness 3.18mm .Each rung shall be of 23mm dia aluminium pipe with wall thickness not less than 2.43mm and shall be eight in nos at equidistant space of 300mm in between as shown in drg.The stringer of ladder shall be 31.75mm wide and 3.18mm thick .Each alumnium pipe rung of 23 mm dia shall be fitted inside the stringer with end bend to shape and each rung on both sides shall be provided with hard rubber cap. Hard rubber caps/shoes shall be fixed at the ends of aluminium rungs and stringers as shown on drawing with screws. Rest all as shown on drawing.

TABLE CENTRE (FD-393) Overall size shall be 1200mm long, 600mm wide and 400mm high. Legs shall be of 40mm dia anodized brass legs, four in number in one piece. The legs shall be joined in short and long sides with two number 25mm dia brass pipes of wall thickness 2mm. The top pipe shall be fixed 150mm from top and the lower pipe shall be at 100 from bottom of top pipe The brass frame shall be 900mm long and 450mm wide. Vaacuum rubber sho shall be provided at top of legs, which shall be closed with brass sheet 1.6mm thick. The bottom of legs shall be covered with brass sheet of 1.6mm thick sheet. The bottom of legs shall have PVC shoes. The top shall be 10mm thick plate tinted glass (white colour) with corners rounded as shown drawing, the edges of top of table shall be rounded off.

TEAPOY VERANDAH (FD/E6/MAP/17) Overall size shall be 700mm long 400mm wide and 540mm high. The legs, top centre stiffener, top rails and bottom rails shall be of 18mm square MS pipe of wall thickness 1.6 mm.Base tray made of 5mm dia MS bar 12x10 nos at equidistant shall be made and fixed as shown on drg.The top shall be of 18mm thick pre laminated particle board of approved shade and the edges shall be covered with 4mm thick teak wood beading. Hard rubber shoe shall also be fixed to the bottom of each leg.The steel frame shall be painted with synthetic enamel black colour.Rest all as per drg.

ALMIRAH SMALL (STEEL) 1/2 HANGING 1/2 SHELVING (FD-1034) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall be 765mm long, 440mm wide and 1270mm high. The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channels shape with ends covered and welded to bottom of almirah. Mild steel sheet for channel shall be 1mm thick. A partition in the centre of almirah shall be provided vertically with 1mm thick mild steel sheet. Three shelves, equally spaced, of 1mm thick mild steel sheet shall be provided in one half towards left hand side.One top shelf on right hand side shall be provided matching with top shelf shall be provided with 200mm dia chormium plated steel conduit pipe of wall thickness 1.25mm and shall have sockets at both ends.Front shutters shall have two leaves. A steel chromium plated handle 100mm long shall provided to shutters. A three way locking device shrench polished with high gloss finish.in synthetic enamel black in colour after preparation of surfaces.Shutter 25mm dia and 25mm high rubber shoes shall be fixed to bottom of legs. FINISH:All wood surfaces shall be french polished with high gloss finish.Rest all as per drg.position shall be painted with two coats of enamel paint over a coat of primer with spray machine after preparation of steel surfaces.

ALMIRAH LARGE (STEEL) 1/2 H 1/2 S (FD-1033) All as shown on drawing. Overall size shall 920mm long, 485mm wide and 1985mm high. The base shall be 100mm high. The base shall be made of two numbers mild steel sheet channels shape with ends covered and welded to bottom of almirah. Mild steel sheet for channel shall be 1mm thick. The base channel shall be welded at 50mm from each end of 920mm length. Top, sides, back, bottom and front of almirah shall be 1mm thick mild steel sheet. FINISH:All wood surfaces shall be french polished with high gloss finish.Rest all as per drg of primer after preparation of surfaces.Painting shall be done with sprey machine.

DESCRIPTION:Steel frame shall be of size 1160x570x742mm .four legs of 25mm mild steel tube of 1.6mm wall thickness shall be provided. FINISH:All steel surfaces when placed in position shall be painted with synthetic enamel black in colour after preparation of surfaces.
