Note: Cost of transportation of good quality earth has not been included. Only labour for carrying carted earth with a lead of 50 m to the foundation pits has been taken in the rate. The cost of carted earth / sand may be worked out separately if the same is not available from the adjoining area.

Conveyance of surplus excavated earth up to 2 to 3 kms including loading and unloading etc., complete as directed during execuiton.

Cement Concrete (1:4:8) using 40 mm (0.54 Cum), 20 mm (0.27 Cum) and 12 mm (0.09 Cum) nominal size hard broken granite crushed metal from any source conforming to the relevant ISI standards for foundations etc., laid in layers of not more than 15 cms thick well compacted including curing, cost and conveyance of all materials etc., complete.

Supply and placing of M 30 Design Mix Concrete corresponding to IS 456 using concrete mixer using of 20 mm HBG crushed metal 0.530 cu.m (707 kg),. 10 mm HBG crushed metal, 0.362 cu.m (471 kg) , sand 0.407 cu.m (616 kg.) and cement 400 kg with water cement ratio of 0.45 ( 180.00 ltrs/ cu.m of CC) etc., to site and including sales & other taxes on all materials including all operational, incidental and labour charges such as machine mixing, vibrating, laying concrete, curing etc., complete with cement from standard suppliers approved by the department and including cost of centering and scaffolding using steel scaffolding pipes, jack props, wallers, foot plates, brackets, steel centering plates etc but, excluding cost of steel and its fabrication charges for finished item of work (APSS No. 402).

Note : The design mix shall be got designed by furnishing the information required as per clause 19.1.1 &19.1.2 of IS 456-2000 by the contractor at his own cost and get approved from the competent authority before execution. The cement considered for M25 grade concrete is 380 kg/cu.m and the rate is arrived accordingly in the estimate. After the mix is designed and approved, if there is any variation in the quantity of cement, over the cement content adopted in the estimate, the same will be considered and paid/recovered at estimate rate (+/-) T.P ( Either increase or decrease in quantity adopted in the estimate). Payment will not be made for variation in the quantity of other materials such as coarse & Fine aggregates.

Supply and dressing with hard granite stone slabs for flooring from Mulbhagula Quarry, including cost and conveyance etc., complete with following specifications. a) The size of the stone slab should not be less than 0.61mx 0.45m(2'-0"x1'-6"). b) The thickness of the stone slabs should not be less than 100mm ( 4") in all sides. c) The top of the slab should be dressed with the following dressings properly. d) All the sides of the slabs should be dressed with following dressing to a depth of 40mm (11/2") from top surface to suit proper alignment and jointing with side slabs. e) The slabs should be laid horizontally and jointed properly to alignment over sand bed (excluding cost of sand bed).cement mortar bed. f) The joint of the slab should not be more than 6mm (1/4" thick).

g) The slabs should be jointed with C.M(1:3) and the mortar should not come over the slab for the above item the rate is including cost and conveyance of all materials to site of work including necessary labour charges, dressing, laying, jointing but excluding cost of sand for bed, the bed will be paid under relevent item.( Cement mortar of 0.005 Cum/ Sqm should be used for joints) - with Three line dressing.

Thickness of sheet shall not be less than 1.6mm up to 600mm length/width of any compartment and be of 2.0mm above 600mm. Load bearing structure shall be of 2.0mm thick sheet supported by base M.S. channel if required. Side walls and cable alley compartments having bolted type doors with detachable extension type structure (only outer area on all sides shall be measured and panel to be fabricated from CPRI approved fabricator).

The panel base shall be mounted on 50x50x6mm size MS angle and provide 6 legs at bottom and fabricate with necessary welding and the angles shall be painted with two coats of enamel black paint over one coat of red-oxide. The panel legs should be fix firmly in the ground with 3 Nos of cement concrete pillars using 20mm(1:3:6) of size 0.6m(L) x 0.3m(W) x 0.5m(D) and the exposed pillars above the ground level shall be plastered neatly. The following switch gears etc., should be supply and fix firmly in the panel and suitable holes to be made at bottom sheet of the panel for incoming / outgoing cables and install the panel at site as directed by the site Engineer.

7) 2 Nos. of Earth Terminal/Bolts should provide at both side of the panel for earth connection.

Providing of Independent Earthing with 40mm Dia GI Pipe 'B' class of 1.5 Mtrs length after excavating an earth pit of size1.2 m X 0.9 m X 1.55 m with the following specification: (a) the GI pipe shall be inserted into the Ground for 1.25 M below the inspection chamber bottom 300 mm all around This pipe shall be covered with the mixture of 40 Kgs of coke, 20 Kgs of salt & sand including necessary earth work excavation in all kind of soils. (b) the excavated gap shall be back filled with excavated earth, and shall be properly consolidated with water. (c) the top 0.25 m of GI pipe shall be exposed into inspection chamber of 0.40 X 0.40 X 0.40 m internal size . The all around inspection chamber shall be providied with 0.1 m thick CC (1:2.5:5) walls with 20 mm thick HBG metal such that the pit shall be exposed 100 mm above ground level. The bottom of the inspection chamber shall be provided with 100 mm thick CC (1:2.5:5) using 20 mm HBG metal with 200 mm outer offset at all four sides. (d) All the inside & outside exposed faces of the inspection chamber shall be plastered with CM (1:3) 12 mm thick.

(e) A 65 mm dia PVC conduit is to be embeded through 100 mm thick wall at one side, to lay the Earth from the Earth bus to the Electrode through the PVC conduit and after laying the Earth, the pit entry PVC conduit is to be sealed with Bitumen compound. (f) The top of the 40 mm dia GI pipe shall be welded with reducer of 20mm dia connected with 20mm dia of 0.3 long GI pipe and 20 mm GI pipe is to be fixed with funnel & wire mesh. (g) After giving earth connections to the 25 X 6 mm GI flat with bolts, nuts & washers, a pre-casted RCC (1:2:4) slab cover of 40 mm thick with lifting hook is to provided on top of the Earth pit. (h) Necessary Meggar testing is to bo done in the presence of the concerned Engineers, and the reading should be as per IE standards.
