3007/05/E3 SOIL INVESTIGATION

Soil investigation for Provn of storage accommodation for armories and explosive store and guard house and ancillaries at AIPT under GE (Central), Pune 1. Mobilization of drilling equipments, accessories, personnel, etc to site demobilization of the same after completion up to 6.00 mtrs depth of bore 2. Setting and sifting of ring at boreholes locations. 3. Drilling exploratory holes of size, up to 100mm dia, in sol of all sorts and collecting disturbed samples (Soil where SPT N<50) 4. Drilling NX size exploratory bare holes in rock, extracting rock cores, serially marking them as per specification (Rock where SPT N>50). 5. Conducting standard penetration Test (SPT) in soil and collecting/ preserving SPT soil samples at every 1.5m vertical interval. 6. Preservation & handing over of soil and rock samples on site during & after completion of job in wooden core boxes. 7. Conducting laboratory Test on rock core samples a) Sieve Analysis b) Atterberg's Limits (LL, PL) c) sulphate & Chloride d) Free Swell Index. 8. Conducting Laboratory test on rock core samples a) Dry Density b) Specific Gravity c) Water Absorption d) Porosity e) Saturated Crushing Strength/ Point Load 9. Submission of geotechnical report including results of all field and laboratory tests, foundation recommendations. 10. Core box charges 11. The quoted rates shall be inclusive of transportation loading unloading labour charges for each test for single instance including complete machinery and government taxes. 12. Photos snaps/ all bore holes entire testing during taking soil samples to be provided.
