Rehabilitation works of Mechanical Filter Plant of 5.00 MLD capacity at Matela:-1. Providing all materials, carting from site store to site of work, lowering into trenches with true to alignment, laying of 18.0 m of 200 mm dia, 4.8 mm thick MSERW pipes grade yst 210, jointing by electric welding process with proper grade of electrodes suitable for jointing of water supply lines (Adore, L&T or equivalent electrodes) by cutting of pipes and making required bends by welding, completion of work with testing of pipe line etc complete. 2. Taking out the old and existing filter media from sand filters including it's excavation as in mixed soil by manual means (over areas exceeding 30cm in depth, 1.50m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including disposal of excavated filter media within a lead of 50 m & lift up to 3.0 mtr. Disposal media to be leveled and neatly dressed. 3. Cleaning of filter media by proper washing & screening as per direction of Engineer in charge for it's reuse including it's refilling into filters. Filling of available washed and cleaned filter media into the sand filters including leveling and dressing as per direction of Engineer in charge. Approximately 50% filter media shall be reused after screening and proper washing. Cartage of rejected filter media, silt and debris from site of work up to a distance of 5 km by truck including loading & unloading for it's disposal. 4. Supply and filling of new filter media into sand filters as per standard specifications complete in all respect. Steel work welded built of section /framed works including cutting fixing in position applying a priming code of approved steel primer using steel its as required in gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railing gates and similar works. Replacement of all fabricated works like 8 No.x4.0m long sheet channels, fabricated passages, gates of 5mm thick channel plates, ladder and other similar works. Approximate weight of all works = 500 kg. Provide air compressor of 6HP and complete aeration system for mechanical filter including supply and fixing of necessary air blow pipes, fittings and valves etc. to be connected to lateral blow pipes complete. 5. Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets etc up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing with 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) In side sand filters. 6. Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required color to give an even shade.

Design, testing bearing capacity of soil and construction of M 30 grade RCC Over Head Tank of 500 KL capacity including Supply of all material, labour, T&P etc at Matela and 12m staging with 1.00m wide stair case from G. L. to balcony and from balcony to top dome, 1.0mx1.0m RCC landings at suitable locations and railed with 3 rows of 20 mm dia. GI (M) pipe on 65x65x5 mm angle iron posts fixed with ladder, from top to the floor inside of the tank, MS MH cover with locking arrangements, lightning conductor as per electricity rules, water level indicator, supply and fixing of inlet, outlet, overflow of required size with necessary sluice valves, pipe pieces (including cost of materials), flooring 0.60m wide apron, painting on tank body, vertical pipes, ladder, MS MH cover, ventilator column etc. complete with approved water proofing (Apex), enamel paint, testing, filling water for testing purpose etc. including supply and fixing of inlet and outlet pipes as per norms. Staging 12.00 meter.
Design, testing bearing capacity of soil and construction of M 30 grade R.C.C. semi-sunk Sump cum Clear Water Reservoir of 800 K.L. capacity including supply of necessary scaffolding, shuttering and other accessories along with construction of valve chambers, fixing of inlet and outlet pipes, making bye pass arrangement & fixing of lightening conductor & M.S. Manhole Cover, supply and fixing of M.S. Steel Ladder outside and inside the tank and fixing of railing around top dome as per approved design of R.C.C. tank in latest IS codes including painting with plastic emulsion paint and also connection with the existing network along with carting of all materials including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc. complete.
Survey, design (The contractor has to survey the site, take levels with total station, measure the length of pipe with metallic tape on prescribed alignment and submit the design of Rising Main for checking the thickness of pipe before ordering for supply of pipe.) On completion of this work, the laid length of pipe will be deemed eligible for supply. The respective amount for quantity of surplus supply of pipes (which remained unlaid or unutilized) will be deducted from final bill and surplus quantity of pipes will be the property of contractor) supplying, carting, laying & jointing of Rising main of following size & thickness of API XL 65 grade Pipes by welding with approved quality ISI marked electrodes of Adwani or Adore make confirming to ISO 3183 : 2007 & IS 816 : 1969 including painting of pipe from outside with anti corrosive paint in two coats and other appurtenant works such as fixing of air valve, sluice valve, reflux valve at suitable points including making scouring arrangement at suitable locations by fixing tee & gate valve etc. complete and also testing & commissioning of laid pipeline including supply of all materials, labour, T&P etc. complete from Matela Treatment Plant to Hallet Reservoir at NTD.
