Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. Depth of excavation not exceeding 1500 mm.
Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1,500 mm. and upto 3,000 mm. but not requiring shoring.
Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Supplying, fitting and fixing Marble Slab/tile of 15 to 18 mm thickness in floor, lobby, stair, landing & treads etc. over 20 mm (av.) thck base of Cement mortar (1:2) laid with white cement slurry @ 4.4 kg/Sq.m before placing marble & jointed with white cement slurry @ 2.0 kg/Sq.m with necessary pigments including grinding and Granite polishing as per direction of Engineering -in -Charge in Ground Floor. {White cement and Pigment to be supplied by the Agency] (b) With Chawk Dungri(iv) Area of each slab/tile exceeding 1.00 sq.m (This item to be executed on Specific permission of Superintending Engineer)

Driving M.S. sheet piles of any kind of approved type and size conforming to IS code in all kinds of soil/ soil mixed with gravel, shingle & pebbles, by monkey hammer including handling, cutting to requisite size, drilling holes, hoisting in position, welding, fabrication of sets of tapper piles, corner piles etc. with clutch bars as may be required including staging, scaffolding and hire charges of driving machinery and equiepments, craping and cleaning piles, painting the sufrace with one coat of surface primer of approved make and brand and two coats of ready mixed oil bound paint (except red lead and black japan) etc including all cost of labours, supply and carriage of equipments to site (by any mean) as per drawing and direction of EIC but excluding the cost of sheet piles. N.B. Measurement of area underground to be taken i.e. straight length of pile multiplied by driven length.
Dewatering by pumps including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal, where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage, breakage and making wet connections. [Note : - In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering. use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C. who will be satisfied in absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due to any natural source of water or any fault of the Contractor]
M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor: (b) Two Coats
Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. Making rectangular sausage cage with 10 SWG galvanized iron wire of 125mm. x 125mm. mesh wire netting with proper lapping of minimum 150 mm. including sewing the joints with 12 SWG G I wire and supply of all materials and equipments including placing the sausage cage in position, filling the same with boulder or lump agreegates complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge but excluding the cost of boulder / lump aggregates and its carriage upto site.(Cost is excluding the cost of end pieces )
