Providing and fixing of double skinned insulated roofing system in pre-painted galvalume using Standing Seam Profile Sheeting comprising of following layers- 1. Liner/ Inner sheet with crest height 28-30mm and pitch distance 195-200mm.The end rib shall have anti capillary groove to avoid any ingress of water through the side lap minimum pitch of 250mm c/c in 0.50mm TCT color coated galvalume AZ150 in minimum 550MPa YS. The sheet shall be fixed on the main purlin with SDST screw with EPDM washers confirming to AS3566 class 3 specs. Color-SMS coated 20+5/5+5 2. Vapour Control layer –polythene sheet 0.20 mm thick over inner sheet to prevent condensation occurring due to variance in temperature. 3. Halters/Sub girt (GI 50x100x50x1.6mm) to be fixed in between two sheets to support the outer sheet on which top sheet shall be fixed. 4. Two layer of 50mm Rockwool insulation having density minimum 48kg/m3. (Total thickness 100 mm) 5. Outer sheet shall be Standing Seam Profile sheet with non-piercing, concealed fastening roofing system manufactured from pre painted galvalume sheet (PPGL) of minimum 0.60mm TCT, 550Mpa, AZ150GSM, RMP Coated 20+5 complete with ziplock arrangement. The galvalume sheet should be of make LLOYD/TATA/JSW/EVEREST/JINDAL coil, Height of the Building is approx. 20 meter, actual site photographs are attached showing the scope of work to be carried out and gives an understanding to quote their rate. However, it is advisable to inspect the site at Chandigarh Airport before quoting the rate. The item contains complete work including Scaffolding, safety measures to be taken at height upto 20metre etc. The work shall be carried out as per manufactures specification and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Nothing extra shall be paid on any account. Specifications and color shall match with the existing Roofing system as mentioned above. NOTE: 1. Item includes supplying, installation and fixing of PPGL sheet including cost of system accessories insulation, vapour barrier, liner sheet, halters, flashing, fasteners, gaskets, brackets screws rivets, sealants, inner clousre fillers, fixtures, all machineries, labour involved in all the operations described above including charges of all lifts, leads, transportation, scaffolding, centering, shuttering, boom lift machines, profiling machine and all the taxes except GST. The above work is to be carried out by a specialised agency approved by the Engineer-in-charge. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. The approximate area of the work is 650 Sqm. 2. The above item also includes scaffolding, boomlift machine or other necessary arrangements required for replacement of old sheet and installation of new sheet. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. 3. The work will be executed by the specialized agency only and being specialized agency, he has to ensure the overall stability of insulated roofing system along with junctions/connections with the existing roofing system. 4. Agency will submit the Guarantee Bond for safety and stability of the double skinned insulated roofing system for a period of 5 (five) years after completion of the work. 5. Defect Liability Period : 5 Years (50% of Security deposit will be released after 1 year & balance 50% will be released after successful completion of defect liability period of 5 years from the date of actual completion of work.) 6. For payment purpose, only area of outer profile sheet after erection in straight/curved shape (finished work) shall be measured in Sqm upto 2 decimals. Nothing extra shall be paid on any account. 7. The color and profiling of inner & outer sheet should be similar to existing one.

Deduct for taking away of dismantled sheet material from the existing roof of the building. The material so received shall be the property of contractor after dismantling duly weighed/measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his authorised representative all complete. NOTE: Necessary deduction will be made from the running bill of the contractor as per the actual measurement and the rate quoted by the contractor.
