INTAKE CHAMBER: Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Intake System for tapping water from Chhadi Khad consisting of RCC Circular Intake well Cum Raw water Pumping Station including all allied Civil Works, Site development, Fencing, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, approach path, dewatering etc complete as directed by engineer in charge. Scope consists of, but not limited to, the construction of RCC (M30) Intake Well cum pump house 11 m deep & of 6 m dia with a clear height of pump house as 6m. Provision of inlet port at 2 different drawal levels. Including sluice valves with spur gear operations, bell mouth, with stainer & screens and 5 metric tonnes gantry girder (manually operated) with chain pulley block & approach ramp for intake etc. complete.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work including Geotechnical investigations. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the Intake system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (Data Sheet No.1)
WATER TREATMENT PLANT: Designing (aesthetically), Providing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning of Water Treatment Plant of 1.2915 MLD Capacity for 16.00 Hours Pumping) based on Rapid Sand Gravity Filteration, consiting of Civil works including Laboratory, Mechnical, Electrical and Instrumental Works including necessary hydraulic testing ,structural testing,equipment testing. The components such as site development,C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls upto battery limits of WTP, Dewatering, Approach Road, Inter-connecting Path, Walkway, Storm Water Drains, Scouring arrangement, Fencing, Beautification including all alied Works complete as directed by engineer in charge. The Laboratory as per CPHEEO Manual shall be established at the WTP where separate Building for the same shall be constructed to house the laboratory equipment, office record including Furniture, office Computer complete in all respects. Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. STORAGE TANKS Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab , roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, all alied Civil Works, Site development, cutting/excavation in all kinds of soils, C/o PCC/RCC Retaining walls, Breast walls, Sanitary works i.e., fencing, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of 5 sets of structural design and drawings etc complete as directed by engineer in chargeas per relevent data sheet and scope of work.(Refer Vol-II-Technical specifications & Vol-III, Data Sheet No.4)

RISING MAIN,Gravity main Tank to tank :
Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. for pipes and pits for other civil structures upto all depths in all kinds of soil such as spade work, pick work, jumper work, blasting work,chiselling work , kankar, mooram singles including decomposed in soft /hard work ,chiselling/wedging out of hard and soft rocks where blasting is prohibited, in saturated soil including bailing out the watering, by cutting in slopes where ever required, in rocky portion suitable anchorage shall be provided (anchorage will be paid separately) and stacking the excavated materials not more than 3.00 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soils in 15 cm (fifteen centi meter) layer when required into sides of trenches and above the laid pipes etc. consolidating in each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil in all leads and lifts . After disposal ,the surface shall be neatly dressed and leveled and shoring to its original shape complete in all respect, including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - charge
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement:4sand:8 graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth in all leads and lifts and to the enitre satisfaction of Engineer-in- charge.
Providing and laying RCC 1:2:4 ( 1cement:2sand:4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and curing complete in thrust /anchor blocks of appropriate size as per approved design at suitable RD's site with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer Incharge alongwith fixing the pipe in position with anchor bolts, nuts etc. complete in all respect (reinforcement steel and form work to be paid for separatly) including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts.
Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish including centring, shuttering propping etc. and the centring below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 mts. removal of the same for insitu reiforced concrete and plain concrete work in foundation, footing, basis of columns, anchor blocks , thrust blocks and the like mass concrete including entire carriaage of materials including all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - charge

Providing, Laying ,jointing, with circumferential butt joints by electrical arc welding (Welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of G.I Pipe of Jindal/Surya Roshani /Tata/AST or of approved rate contract of DGS and D / HP Govt make of following diameter confirming to IS:1239:1990 (Part-ii) (latest with up to date amendments having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure , including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers taper all shorts pieces, bends etc as per site requirement made from parent tubes. The laying of pipe shall also include flanged joints duly welded in three layer (Two inner and one outer) Where ever required as per direction of Engineer in charge (Earth work in trenches and the cost of flanges I/C nut and bolts gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operation such as cutting welding and jointing fabrication of bends tees i.e lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Overlikon/Over cord s/s make.The damaged portion of the pipe and all specials (if damaged during laying and jointing operation of pipe ) made from the parents tube shall be provided anticorrosive treatment by applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paints over a priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978. The rates also includes entire carriage of material ,flushing, Cleaning and Hydraulic testing,DP test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts

The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. PUMPING MACHINARY : Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning with automation (to be paid separetely) of suitable Raw water submersible star rated energy efficent pumpset of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/ Beacon Weir/Kirlosker/BE/Jyoti as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments capable of handling 6000 PPM turbidity conforming to latest BIS code. The pump shall be fitted with single vane impeller of suitable alloy for handling raw water as per IS 5669-1970 having oil/grease packed bearings and stainless steel shaft, wound stator on motor side with shaft protection sleeves on pump side ensuring better life for shaft . The impeller of pump shall be directly mounted on extended submersible motor confirming to BIS 9238-1979 with up to date amendments,totally dust and weather proof with detach able pump casing for easy inspection with double mechanical seal, grease/ oil lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to withstand vertical loads with minimum wear and tear,It should be fitted with device to take up expanion of water on heating of motor & suitable for operation on 415 (+10% ) and ( -15% ) volts 3 Phase 50 C/S AC supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1972. AUTOMATION: The tendered/firm shall provide proposals for automation (Wired/Non wired) to automize the entire scheme up to Main storage tank. Provision of automation shall be as per data sheet No-9 with main SCADA and control station at treatment plant at Chattri Khad. GSM based devices shall be installed at each MBR of every stage which shall send messages through WEB SCADA stations at two offices and five Mobile Numbers. This data transmission system at each tank of pump station consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system module communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. .The firm / contractor will provide the Bulk metering at Water Treatment Plants. The automation of the entire scheme upto main storage tank shall also include the followings : (a) At intake point : Provision shall be kept for automatic flow measurement and flow control with quality measurement turbidity. (b) Water Treatment Plant at Chattri Khad:- Fully automatized operation including alum dosing and back washing and chlorination from inlet to out let along with automatic sensor for Turbidity, pH and Residual chlorine) (c) Storage Water Tanks at lifting station:-Automatic Inlet and Out Let through single out flow pipe (common header), Low and high level sensor along with all required accessories. It should also include telecommunication comprising of required numbers of connections as per actual requirement at site. The automation system installed at above/aforesaid locations should be theft proof and proper ventilation arrangements be made complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge. the firm/contactor shall submit complete proposal for automation and got approved from competent authority, along with presentation before award of project. The make of Sluice valve shall be Kriloskar/Leader/KSB. The makes for Electrical actuator for automatic valves shall be Marsh/Auma/Rotex . The make for PLC shall be Siemens/Allen Bradly / CIMCON. The make for ultra Sonic level sensors shall be ABB/Siemens/E&H/Fobes Mrshal / SBEM.
Trial run after completion of work for a period of ninety days. The cost of labour and material shall be provided by the bidder and energy charges shall be born by the Deptt. During the trial run periof, the scheme shall run at the ultimate design water requirement for a minimum of 90 days,.
