Disconnecting and taking out from housing/position by removing all cables and control wiring and dismantling the existing HT indoor 11 KV VCB's and connected control gear complete and cleaning, rubbing and overhauling of all mechanical parts and motors, checking and correction of allignment, lubricating of all mechanical and electrical parts with appropriate lubricants, sleeving/tinning of bus bars, replacement of complete nuts and bolts, space heaters, testing of resin cast CTs and PTs for leakage incl replacement of unserviceable spares and parts and re-assembling the same incl testing of breakers on site by primary and secondary current injection, setting of relays with provided/permissible values and applying hammer tone paint finish, reconnecting of all removed cables complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note for item No. 01 :- (i) Major Spare parts of VCB's as required shall be measured and paid separately vide item nos 02 to 13. (ii) All Parts shall be compatible with existing VCBs installed at Power house SMA Rameswaram under GE Fort Kochi. (iii) Any cutting drilling/ welding/civil works reqd for replacement of meters/switches/lamps/connectors and making good to match with existing are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rates.

Note for item No. 01 Contd.. :- (iv) All minor spares/works such as reqd bolts, nuts, washers, connectors, pins, panel hinges, locks, allignment, lubricants etc costing less than Rs.500/- each shall be included in quoted rates. (v) The contractor shall bring to site the following instruments and carried out the relevent test to the satisfication of Engr-in-Charge as and when reqd: (a) HT digital insulation tester (b) Primary and Secondary current injection kit (vi) The following test may be carried on site (a) One Minute Dry Power Frequency Voltage Withstand Test (b) Dielectric test on auxiliary and control circuit (c) Measurement of the resistance of main circuit (d) Visual Checks (e) Mechanical Operation Test (vii) During the execution of work electric supply will be interrupted. To resolve the issue, bypass arrangment shall be carried out by connecting/disconnecting HT/LT cables with the prior approval of Engr-in-Charge, inside the premises of Sub Stn with least inconvenience to the Users. Contractor should carry out these arrangments under the strict supervision of Engr-in-Charge without any extra cost as it is deemed to include in the rate quoted for the above item.

Supply only spring charging motor with gear and connector for VCB of voltage 200-250 Volts as required at site.

Supply only Dual wound Closing and tripping coil for 11 kV VCB of 20-30 Volts as per site requirements.

Supply only Auxillary switch for 11 KV VCB as per site requirements.

Supply only compatible Vaccum interrupter for 11 KV VCB incl all required connectors, accessories.

Supply only Limit switch for 11 KV VCB as per site requirements.

Supply only Hooter suitable for VCBs as per site requirements.

Supply only TNC switch with key locking arrangement as per site requirements.

Supply only Space heater 500 Watts with thermostat control 30-1000C and connectors.

Supply only Digital temperature guage with LCD Display suitable for displaying internal temperature Range 25 to 1200C. Make : Pricol/Minda/Enkay

Supply only LED Indicating lamps of desired colour dual input type. Make:- C&S or equivalent.

Supply only Control relays with LCD Display programmable at per site reqt suitable for 11 kV and 24 volts DC working voltage 3 phase controls and measurements . Make:- L&T- MC61AnX, Schneider, Secure.

Supply only compatible Digital multi function meter for VCB unit with Large LCD display to measure Voltage (0-12000V), Current, Frequency, Powerfactor. Make:- Secure Elite 440 or equivalent from Schneider or Siemens.

M&L in replacement for Electromat high voltage synthetic insulating mat conforming to IS: 15652:2006/ ISI marked 11000 volts grade of size any length as per site requirement of width 1 Meter , 3 mm thick class B all as directed

M&L in replacement for on load change over switch 400 Amperes four pole, 415 volts, housed inside weatherproof wall mounted polycarbonate enclosure including connecting complete. Make L&T/ Havells/Indo Asian

Supply and lay for XLPE insulated sheathed earthed pvc bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium conductor 11000 volt grade cross sectional area 185 sqmm 3 core including taking down old unserviceable cable etc complete from trenches/ Poles/ Surface.

M/L cable end termination kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable heat shrinkable type complete with jointing materials and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size up to 185 Sqmm. Make : 3M/Raychem

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches ( n exc 1.5 m in width or 10 sq m on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated hard and dense soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard and dense soil all as specified and as directed.

M & L Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point, and depositing where directed complete all as specified.

M&L sand cushioning in trenches using clean dry river sand for cable cushioning all as specified and as directed. Note : Thickness of sand cushioning after punning down will be measured and paid.

Supply and lay sub class "B" burnt bricks, as in cable protection, laid length of brick perpendicular to length of cable complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Returning and filling in of soil including spreading levelling, watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified.

S & F in repairs Mild steel work in framed work such as Supports for VCBs, Clamps, gratings, ladders etc., with ends of bars welded and/ or riveted, or forged and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 all as directed.

M&L for fabrication by cutting to required sizes as trench covers, Mild steel plates, chequered, 5 mm thick or over in thickness in available sizes Fe 410-W(Gde E-250) quality B

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise provided for, all as specified and as directed.

M & L Providing plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping and including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating and including necessary form work with fair finished concrete surfaces, all as specified and as directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete 1:3:6, type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed. including demolition of existing damaged masonary work, all as specified and as directed.

M&L 10mm thick rendering on brick/concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement, all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repairs HDPE Corrugated flexible pipe double wall, heavy duty of internal dia 80mm fixed on walls or laid in trenches including all accessories complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in replacement for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground /earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below the normal ground level connected to DB/Panel by using GI strip of 32x6 mm sleeved using red colour PVC sleeving as earthing lead soldering/rivetted to earth plate as per SSR Part I earth plate No. 03 at one end and connected To DB by means of nut, bolts etc complete with PCC pit shall be in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 ,50mm thick RCC cover slab reinforced with 8mm dia MS bar @75mm c/c both ways including necessary form work , with 12mm dia MS handle, funnel with watering pipe wire mesh GI protection pipe for earthing lead including testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The length of earth lead considered is 7.5m from the DB/ Panel.
