Amount

M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exc 50mm and n.exc 100 mm and removing materials from site of work or stacking for reuse at site complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 150 mm thick (spread thickness) Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 150 mm thick WBM in two layers each of 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with broken metal of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm) spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Both the layer shall be measured as one unit for payment purpose.)

Material and labour for 75 mm thick WBM (compacted thickness) with broken metal of granite, trap or basalt stone of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm) spread, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and consolidated to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour premix bituminous macadam laid as levelling course in sunken / damaged road patches as directed, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidate thickness shall not execeed 75 mm thick, with minimum 4% binder of paving bitumen VG-30 grade, content by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and shall be laid by mechanical paver finisher complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) The bituminous macadam shall be properly got design in a laboratory and shall be approved by the GE.)

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 2.5 Kg per 10Sqm using paving bitumen grade VG-10 over bituminous surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying premixed bituminous carpet, 40mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 Cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.2 Kg of binder (using paving bitumen VG-30), rolled with power roller 8 to 12 tonne to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for liquid seal coat applying evenly binder @ 9.80Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 blinding with 6.3mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 Cum per 10Sqm and rolled to required camber and gradient with power roller 8 to 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic dense concrete 40mm (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder of paving bitumen VG-30 grade content by weight of total mix, including cement filler on surfaces rolled and compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne power roller to achive the required compactness , camber and gradient. The mix shall be done using hot mix plant as per design mix and shall be laid by mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) The actual binder content shall be as per optimum content based on approved job mix formula with minimum content of 5.5% by weight of total mix (ii) Design mix to be approved by the GE.)

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like exc. 10 cm wide by applying not less than 1.5 mm thick thermoplastic road marking paint of specified shade / colour either continious or broken lines to the required width and length over the existing painted surface / new bituminous surface with solvent based thermoplastic road marking paint using semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine driven by experienced operator on road including all materials, labour, T&P and cleaning dirt, seals, oil, greases and foreign materials etc of road surface complete all as specified and directed. ( Note: Thermoplastic road marking paint shall be applied as per manufacturer's instruction alongwith MORTH technology and speciality.) Supply and fix dual reflective cat eye of impact resistant ABS plastic stud 110 x 128 x 30 mm double moulded solid state having ultra violet resistant colour (white / red / yellow) with four round disc containing 28 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white / red / yellow to a side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12 mm and of length 120 mm for fixing to road by hammering complete all as specified and directed. (Make: Cat No. DA971P of Dark Eye or equivalent model of TATA BP / ABS ENGINEERING / 3M)

Surface dressing n.exc. 15cm depth in soft / loose soil, depth and removing rubbish upto a distance n.exc. 50 m all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for shingle / gravel filling in road side berms or pavings, laid in layers 100 mm thick (Compacted thickness), spreading, levelling, well ramming and consolidating to required gradient and camber with 0.2 to 0.5 ton hand roller including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old brick edging laid dry complete all as directed.

Material and labour for continious brick edging (using old size sub-class 'B' brick) with width equal to the width of the brick, laid dry on end vertically complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving n.exc.15cm thick (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of floor, finished the surface fair and even to receive subsequent layer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B2, (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in paving, path etc, surface shall be finished by making impression of expanded metal whilst the concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quions, arches, pillers etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class `B` bricks, old size, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work , except brick, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: Serviceable bricks retrive from demolition of brickwork shall be reused.)

Materials and labour for rendering 15mm thick plaster in cement mortar (1:4) on fair face of brick work or concrete surfaces and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channel and drain etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using ex- tra cement, including forms, moulds, mi- tred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm from item No. 28 above. (For adjustment only)

Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary use and waste of formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in cover slab for manholes, drains etc, set in cement mortar 1:6 including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.
