ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT

Self Supporting System

A) Supply, fabrication, on-site roll-forming, curving, installation, and fixing of self-supported trussless arch roofing system using high-tensile Galvalume steel sheets (aluminium-zinc alloy coated steel, minimum AZ 150 coating mass as per relevant standards) of 1.50 mm total coated thickness (TCT), cold roll-formed at site into standing seam type panels with approximately 914 mm effective cover width, mechanically seamed (double-lock / snap-lock standing seam) to create a fully continuous, watertight, non-punctured roofing membrane. The system shall be executed in single-bay clear-span configuration for a building of 28.00 m clear span, 60.00 m length, with arched profile having an approximate developed arch length of 31.35 m and rise (crown height) of 16.31 m, forming a true self-supporting structural roof shell without any intermediate trusses, rafters, purlins, or secondary structural members. Scope includes: Detailed structural design verification / approval as per relevant Indian Standards (IS 875 Parts 1–5 for loads, IS 800 / IS 801 for cold-formed steel design, IS 277 / ASTM A792 for Galvalume material, and other applicable codes). Mobilization of mobile roll-forming machine, curving equipment, and seaming tools to site. On-site cold roll-forming of continuous-length panels from coil stock, precision curving to required arch radius/profile, mechanical double seaming for watertight joints. B) Supply and application of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) insulation coating of minimum 2.0 mm finished thickness over the self-supported trussless Galvalume arch roofing system, to provide thermal insulation, weatherproofing, and corrosion protection. Scope includes: Surface preparation: high-pressure cleaning, degreasing, drying, and priming with compatible etch/adhesion primer for Galvalume substrate. Multi-layer hand-layup or spray-up application of UV-stabilized polyester resin reinforced with chopped strand mat (minimum 300–450 gsm total glass), consolidated to eliminate voids, and finished with resin-rich UV-resistant topcoat. Reinforcement at edges, penetrations, ridges, eaves, and junctions; sealing with compatible sealants. All materials (resin, hardener, glass fibre, primer) complying with relevant IS/ASTM standards and manufacturer specifications. Complete execution including skilled labour, tools, scaffolding for safe access on curved roof, quality checks (thickness, adhesion, visual inspection), curing under protection, debris removal, and handover. Work carried out as per manufacturer’s guidelines, approved method statement, and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The applied FRP system shall form a monolithic, seamless, durable, watertight, and thermally insulating membrane fully compatible with the underlying roofing
