Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation of pole, laying of cables etc in soft/loose soil and getting out.

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.5 cum, getting out, in hard/dense soil including returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers n.exc 25 cm, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and making good surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil), not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hardcore of guage exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surface of any description exc. 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.
