Dismantling steel pole, struts of any size and type after digging/ taking out from existing ground/ PCC and making good disturbed surfaces to match the adjoining surface complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc from pole /structures complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size from pole /structures complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling ACSR or AAC conductor from poles any type complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan or taking out/ laying of cable, and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m but n.exc. 3.0 m in depth for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,, etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plan or taking out/ laying of cable, and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick any type of soil complete all as specified & directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to PVC cable with river/tibba sand and punning down to provide required cover complete all as directed. Note: For the purpose of payment only punned down thickness of sand will be measured.

Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in making good the road surfaces, and foundation of poles etc. complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, in coping of poles etc. including necessary formwork for smooth finish complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying & testing of XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 33000 volts grade, of size 3 core 300 sq mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 33 KV grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 300 sqmm laid in trenches, ducts, pipe or along poles/walls etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earthwork, sand cushioning, precast covers etc. shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this BoQ.

Supply & fixing cable jointing kit for 33 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminium conductor for cable of size 300 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for boring in any type of soil under road 1.5 metre below the top surface of road by conventional method complete for passing through 100 mm to 150 mm dia GI pipe and filling earth after laying of pipe including disposal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc. 100m complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) GI pipe will be paid and measured separately. (b) Any damage to existing cable/ pipe line of any type will be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the Dept.

S&F Cable route indicator showing "HT U/G cable 33 KV" and route of cable with arrow made out of CI in suitable elliptical shape and fixed in 25x4mm angle iron 450 mm long (all word embossed) and embedded in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 block of size 30x30x30cm in ground complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for prestressed concrete pole, 11.0 metres long. 152mm x 152mm at top and 152mm x 260 mm at bottom, class 9, erecting in vertical position including painting of pole mentioned in SSR Part - I for HT Pole complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earthwork, foundation concrete etc shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this BoQ.

M&L for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including MS nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one priming coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Switch air break gang operated, outdoor, triple pole mechanically operated mounted on HT 33 KV insulators (12 insulators type) (Horizontal Type) and galvanized steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level including operating rod for current rating up to 400 Amps 33000 volts complete with locking arrangement necessary MS clamps, bolts and nuts and washers etc also including drop out expulsion type of fuses with fuse barrels of required capacity to suitable load at site including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on all MS work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Drop out fuse set switches mounted on insulator suitable for 33000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for 33000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Insulator pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green 150 mm height, 150 mm dia, including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut suitable for 33000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Disc type insulator porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type white brown or green single disc assembly for tension clamps for conductors working pressure 33000 V complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubing of size 150 mm bore light grade with all fittings laid in bored hole(horizontal) under road or erected along poles for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Boring of hole shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this BoQ.

S&F Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT, 25 x 20 cm size foxed to pole or other location complete all as specified and directed.

S&F anti-climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round, square and flat) including MS nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 40 mm bore light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The concrete pit shall be cast in situ PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of 40 mm bore GI protection pipe light grade up to 7.5m & GI wire 4.0 mm dia upto 7.5 m length . (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

M&L for earthing complete with copper plate 60×60cm×3.15mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to 20×3mm copper earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm bore light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as specified and directed. Earth work in surface excavation in any type of soil not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, complete all as specified and directed.

Earth work in excavation in any type of soil over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) as in foundation, sub base and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Stone masonry work in plain ashlar in super structure upto floor five level in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) including pointing with cement mortar 1:2 (1 white cement : 2 stone dust) with an admixture of pigment matching the stone shade , both face dressed , Red sand stone complete all as specified & directed

M&L for cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc., up to floor five level including necessary formwork for smooth finish 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) complete all as specified and directed.
