EDGE SCRAPPING AND CLEANING OF MONSOON DRAIN AROUND RUNWAY, PTT LINKS, DISPERSAL AND NORTHERN LOOP AT AF STATION BAREILLY UNDER GE (AF) BAREILLY

M&L for grass cutting along the both sides of Runway / PTT / Links / Dispersal by manually through shavel, hoe or scrapper etc. and cleaning of concrete portion by brooming, clearing the silt, sludge, shrubs etc from the existing shoulder area, drain & depositing wherever directed including all necessary T&Ps, wheel barrow trolleys etc required for the work all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The following shall be applicable for item above:- (a) The grass cutting in above item may be cut at the same location or other repeatidly at the interval of one month or less as per the requirment of user unit and all as directed by Engineer-in charge. [b] Contractor shall be required to engage adequate T&P and manpower to cut the one lot of area of grass cutting up to15000.00 Sqm within 07 days from the date of requirement projected by the Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure the penalty of Rs 5000.00 per day will be imposed on contractor till completion of specified lot. [c] The work is to be executed in highly restricted area and the working hour to execute the work shall be as per availability of runway. [d] Proper safety arrangement, equipment etc shall be provided by the contractor to the workers. [e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on these account.

M&L for cutting grass / vegitation /shrubs / small trees manually through hand held petrol driven brush cutter (grass cutting machine) of Make Honda, Model: UMK450T U2NT (47CC) or equivalent with 2 teeth blade attachment with operator for cutting grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the period of contract all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rates are included for supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades etc. as required. Note: [a] The grass cutting against the said item may be cut at the same location or other repeatidly at the interval of one month or less as per the requirment of user unit and all as directed by Engineer-in charge. [b] Contractor shall be required to engage adequate T&Ps and manpower to cut the one lot of area of grass cutting up to 30000 Sqm within 07 days from the date of requirement projected by the Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure the penalty of Rs. 10000.00 per day shall be imposed on contractor till completion of specified lot. [c] Contractor shall keep standby machine in the event of break down of any machine and keep ready requisite spares, blades etc. to make the machine functional within minimum possible time. [d] The work is to be executed in highly restrictod area and working hour to execute the work will be as per availability of runway. [e] Proper safety arrangement, equipment etc shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [f] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on these account.

M&L for cutting grass/vegitation/shrubs/small trees through mechanical grass smasher/slasher coupled with tractor of not less than 35 HP capacity along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway Shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the period of contract all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rates are included for supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades etc. as required. Note: [a] The grass cutting against the said item may be cut at the same location or other repeatidly at the interval of one month or less as per the requirment of user unit and all as directed by Engineer-in charge. [b] Contractor shall be required to engage adequate T&Ps and manpower to cut the one lot of area of grass cutting up to 3,00,000.00 Sqm within 07 days from the date of requirement projected by the Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure the penalty of Rs 15000.00 per day will be imposed on contractor till completion of specified lot. [c] Contractor shall keep standby machine in the event of break down of any machine and keep ready requisite spares, blades etc. to make the machine functional within minimum possible time. [d] The work is to be executed in highly restrictod area. [e] Proper safety arrangement, equipment etc shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [f] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on these account.

M&L for ploughing and furrowing in SGA point all as directed (Furrows should be to form of 30 degree angle) by mechanically operated cultivator coupled with tractor of not less than 35 HP capacity including fuel whenever required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rates are included for supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades etc. as required. Note: [a] The Ploughing and furrowing against the said item may be done at the same location or other repeatidly at the interval of one month or less as per the requirment of user unit and all as directed by Engineer-in charge. [b] Contractor shall be required to engage adequate T&Ps and manpower to cut the one lot of area of ploughing and furrowing up to 2025.00 Sqm within 05 days from the date of requirement projected by the Engineer-in-Charge. In case of failure the penalty of Rs 5000.00 per day shall be imposed on contractor till completion of specified lot. [c] Contractor shall keep standby tractor with cultivator in the event of break down of any machine and keep ready requisite spares, blades etc. to make the machine functional within minimum possible time. [d] The work is to be executed in highly restricted area. [e] Proper safety arrangement, equipment etc shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [f] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the above provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on these account.

Dismantling of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles bedded and pointed in any cement mortar as in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons etc complete all as specified.

M&L for laying bricks flat using sub class ‘B’ old size bricks, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in lining for drain including necessary surface dressing if required in any type of soil complete all as specified.

All as per item No. 6.00 here-in-before but except bricks all as specified. [Note: Old serviceable bricks obtained from dismantling shall be re-used under this item].

M&L for laying bricks on edge using sub class ‘B’ old size bricks, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in lining for drain including necessary surface dressing if required in any type of soil complete all as specified.

All as per item No. 8.00 here-in-before but except bricks all as specified. [Note: Old serviceable bricks obtained from dismantling shall be re-used under this item].
