Supply, install, connect, test and commissioning of Manufacturer / OEM assembled Silent Type (DG) Diesel Engine driven Generating Set having prime power rating of 1250 KVA/1000 KW at a power factor of 0.8 lagging, 415 Volts, AC, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, alternator directly coupled with diesel engine, mounted on common base frame complete with Acoustic enclosure with inbuilt fuel tank, fuel line & accessories, PCC foundation work as per manufacture's instructions, anti vibration pads, OEM recommended Standard Panel with out AMF Mode showing standard parameters of engine & alternator, exhaust pipe & other standard accessories and comprising the following, complete all as specified and directed:- (A) ENGINE (Prime Mover): Diesel Engine, four stroke, inline multi cylinders, liquid / water cooled, turbo charged, air to air after cooled, confirming to ISO 8528 for G3 Class performance, capable of giving adequate BHP not less than 1470 BHP at 1500 RPM to drive alternator capable of delivering minimum 1250 KVA (1000 KW) at outdoor atmospheric conditions at Visakapatnam and capable of taking 10% overload for one hour after 12 hours of continuous operation, complete with the standard fittings/fixtures as per manufacturer and following accessories as specified and directed. ITEM NO. 1.00 CONTD… (i) Fly wheel housing and fly wheel (ii) Air cleaner dry type replaceable paper element type with restriction indicator (iii) Electronic governor - Class A1 (iv) Fuel filters as per manufacturers recommendations including water separator, fuel pump, Fuel injection pump (FIP) and injectors. (v) Radiator, Fan & water pump assembly (vi) Forced lubrication - Pump, Lub oil filter & Lub oil cooler (vii) Exhaust silencer : Stack height will be 9.00 Meter as per CPCB Norms. The construction of stack will be as per recommendations of OEM and suitable for weather conditions in Technical area at NSTL Visakhapatnam. The drawing will be got approved from the Accepting Officer prior to the commencement of of work. The rate quoted deemed to be include the cost of the same. ITEM NO. 1.00 CONTD… (B) ALTERNATOR :- Alternator shall be self excited, self regulated, brush less for 1000 KW / 1250 KVA at the speed of 1500 RPM at 415 Volts, 50Hz, three phase, 4 wire system with advance electric voltage regulator to ensure high voltage accuracy with + 0.5 % with class H insulation and SPDP enclosure IP 23 ingress protection, directly coupled with engine through flexible coupling and confirming IS- 4722 complete-1 No. MAKES OF ALTERNATOR :- STAMFORD (CGT) / KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC /LEROY SOMER / CROMPTON GREAVES (C) BASE FRAME & FOUNDATION :- Common base frame for Engine & Alternator made from structural steel channel, PCC foundation including adequate number of suitable anti-vibration pads all as per the recommendation of the manufacture. (D) ELECTRICAL STARTING SYSTEM:- Electric starting system with battery charging alternator and axial type starter motor including adequate number of high capacity maintenance free lead acid batteries as recommended by OEM/manufacturer including interconnecting cables/leads with terminals complete with starting/stopping switch, Voltmeter etc - 01 Set.

ITEM NO. 1.00 CONTD… (E ) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE :- Corrosion resistant, acoustic and weather proof enclosure with durable industrial locking system on doors, doors with gasket made of high quality EDPM Material, with arrangement for fresh air intake for cooling of Engine & Alternator, extraction and discharging of hot air to the atmosphere, made out of CRCA sheet with 11 tank pre treatment process and UV resistant powder coating and high quality noise absorbant & fire retardant grade acoustic insulation material (Rockwool) complying to IS 8183 well suitable for 1250 KVA DG set to reduce noise level to 75 db (A), measured at 1.00 meter distance @75% load under field condition and 70 db (A) at 3.00 meter distance @100% load confirming to CPCB II norms. Enclosure will have inbuilt base frame mounted fuel tank of capacity minimum 990 Litres, fabricated out of 14 SWG MS sheet mounted inside the encloser along with fuel piping from tank to engine capacity as recommended by OEM with drain valve, air vent, inlet, outlet connection and suitable exhaust pipe duly cladded with glass wool and covered with aluminimum sheet inside the encloser and exhaust trail pipe with muffer complete all as per manufacture's design.

ITEM NO. 1.00 CONTD… (F) DG SET MOUNTED MICROPROCESSED BASED CONTROL / INSTRUMENT PANEL :- Fitted with & having digital display for the following :- (i) Starting switch On/Off (ii) Coolant Temp indication (iii) Hour meter cum RPM indicator (iv) Lub oil pressure indication (v) Lub oil temperature indication (vi) Battery charging indication (vii) Over speed indication (G) STANDARD PANEL:- OEM recommended Standard Panel suitable for 1250 KVA/1000 KW DG set complete with complete LT Switch Gear like LT ACB, relays, Timers, set of CTs for metering and protection and energy analyzer to indicate currents, phase and line voltages, frequency, power factor, KWH, KVAH & provision for overload, short circuit, restricted earth fault, complete contol cabling, on line charging facility for batteries etc.,

Earthing complete with galvanized iron earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.30 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of GI or steel, GI earth strip shall be protected by 50mm dia GI pipe, 'light grade', watering pipe 20mm dia GI pipe 'medium' grade, GI wire meshed funnel, alternate layer of charcoal and salt on all side to earth plate up to a thickness of 150mm, filling black cotton soil in earth pit up to GL and connected to earth plate including necssary excavation & earth work, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth chamber, 50mm thick RCC cover slab (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways etc., complete all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. NOTES:- (i) The unit rate quoted shall deemed to include cost of excavation in any type of strata, RFR and removal up to 50m, PCC pit, funnel and RCC cover plate. (ii) GI strip 32 x 6 mm and GI pipe 50 mm dia, 'light grade' beyond 7.5m shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this Schedule.

Copper Strip 50 x 6 mm buried in ground 150 mm below normal ground level including connecting up with earth electrode plates of earthing on both ends with nuts, bolts & washers, in addition to welding including necessary excavation, earth work and returning filling-in, leveling, compacting etc., complete all as specified and directed.

GI Strip 32 x 6 mm buried in ground 150 mm below normal ground level including connecting up with earth electrode plates of earthing on both ends with nuts, bolts & washers, in addition to welding including necessary excavation, earth work and returning filling-in, leveling, compacting etc., complete all as specified and directed.

GI pipe 40 mm dia, 'light grade' ISI marked, galvanised including short lengths, fixed to walls and ceilings concealed or laid in floors, complete with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, connect, test and commissioning of LT outdoor Bus duct, sandwich type with fire resistance in Building penetration with verified Integrity of 240 Minutes, Rated insulation 1100 V (Ui), 4000 Amps 2 runs in 2-2 tier system, with rated operational Voltage (Ue) 415 V/690 V, Rated Dielectric Voltage 2.2 KV for 1 Sec 50/60 HZ made from hot galvanized 1.6 mm thick sheet steel treated according to UNI EN 10327 or 2.5 mm Aluminium & painted with RAL 7035, resins with high resistance to chemical agents, rigid & robust to sustain outdoor atmosphere. The enclosure shall be protection not less than IP 65 / IP 66 as per IEC 529. Single bolted special monobol will be used for connecting successive feeders / elbows / flagers etc., The bus bar conductor shall have a rectangular cross section made up of high coductivity Aluminium with standard length and interface barriers, short circuit withstand capacity 80 ka for 01 sec with joint block with maintenance free nut system and all vertical / horizontal elbows. The insulation between the bars is ensured by Muti layere Polyethylene Terephthalate (UL Listed) sheath made of polyester film thermal class WITH INSULATION Class - F ( 155 Degree C) . Plastic components have V1 self-extinguishing degree & are fire retardant, in and including Steel members reqd for fixing the bus duct etc., complete all as specified and directed. GI pipe 80 mm dia, 'light grade' ISI marked, galvanised including short lengths, fixed to walls with all fittings and fixtures as protection to copper strip of size 50 x 6mm, complete with all fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Modification to the existing LT panel for provisioning / extending bus coupler ACB and supply, install, test & commissioning of LT panel cubicle made out of 3 mm thick CRCA sheet, 3 phase, 4 wire system, 415 V, AC 50 cycle with 4000 Amps Aluminium . Bus bar panel to be made as per the existing LT panels to inter link accurately for in and including incommer ACB 3200A, 4 pole of DG set and pannel consisting of indication lamps multifunctional meters Voltmeter and Ammeter with all in-coming and out- going breakers totally enclosed and provision for connecting bus trunk at top side to connect the incomming DG set supply. ventilated front and rear opening polyster powder coated including following controls :- (i) Relays, timers, auxilary contactors, interlocking between the ACB's (ii) Multi functional meter-01 (iii) KWH meter - 01 (iv) Controll wiring with 1.5sqmm FRLS wire and MCB protection (v) LED indication lamps for incomming supply ,spring charging, on, off and fault tripping (vi) 4 pole drawn out electrically operated Air circuit breaker of capacity 3200 A 50Ka @ 440 V AC with microprocessor based tripping sysytem against Short circuit, instantaneous and earth fault protection along with motor mechanism,closing coil, shunt release and instaneous under volt release pre trip alaram and indvidual fault LED indications -2 no's for incommer and bus coupler.
