M & L Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cmX60cmX6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connecting to galvanized earth strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing conductor by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and all as shown in Electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part I and including testing on completion all as specified locations and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1.The above quoted rate shall include cost of main earthing lead of 32 x 6mm GI earth strip, charcoal, salt, excavation and earth work in any type of soil CI cover, funnel with 20mm dia light grade GI water pipe including GI protection pipe 40mm dia light grade for earth strip etc. 2. The cost of earth pit is deemed to be included in the unit rate.

Supply,Laying ,testing, and commissioning size 4 x 25 sqmm cross-sectional area XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, in tranches / fixing on wall by saddel/ fixing on poll / drawn through GI pipes all as specified and directed.

Supply,Laying ,testing, and commissioning size 3.5 x 150 sqmm cross-sectional area XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, in tranches / fixing on wall by saddel/ fixing on poll / drawn through GI pipes all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc and 1.5 mtr in depth getting out in in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning and filling including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layer n.exc 25 CM thick in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50 mtrs and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50mm above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying natural river sand as cushioning of cables, including spreading and punning down all as per clause No 3.21 of SSR part -I complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge and directed by Engineer in charge Note : punned thickness will only be measured for payment purpose.

M&L for sub class 'B' brick for protection of UG cable in tranches of old size brick all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling ACSR conductor including pin/shackle insulators, channels etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for boring road or path horizontally for crossing of cable of any type complete all as specified.

Supply and fix GI pipe of dia 80mm to wall/Pole/ buried under ground of medium grade with required clamping arrangements to fix with the pole or buried underground complete and connecting to the existing pipe line all as specified

Note 1:-The contract sum shall be arrieved at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quated amount. Note 2-Contractor's supervisor and main worker would wear shirt/T-shirt of colour sky blue/brown/yellow preferable embosed with contractor's firm name while carriying out any activities in defence area for better check of security purpose. Note 3:-The tenderer (all eligible contractors) shall ascertain the taxes & levies as on date.
