REPAIR/ MAINT OF ROOF TREATMENT, SANITARY, PLUMBING AND OTHER MISC B/R WORKS AT ZONE I AND II AT LANSDOWNE

Removing existing water proofing treatment what so ever exist(except concrete padding) and removing debries/ rubbish material out side MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of rubbish out side MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding over RCC roof and finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound (liquid type) as per manufacturer instruction on concrete roof surface finished fair and even to maintain the proper slope of roof surface etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC (liquid type) shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.2 kg per sq.m, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3.0Kg/Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 100 mm and end overlap of 150 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply a coat of solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide over the membrane : 1. The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor 2. The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab . The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall surfaces including glazed tiles wherever exists including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water etc and removing unseviceable materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM 1:6 finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick wall in two layers, Ist layer 10mm thick CM (1:4), and IInd layer 5mm thick CM (1:4), surface finished even and smooth with out using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new plasterd surfaces and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over complete all as specified and directed.
