DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Taking down copper /aluminium point wiring (light, fan, bell,socket or power) complete including fixture and fittings such as switches , ceiling roses , pendent , regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. Removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credits and making good distrubed surfaces of walls, floors etc complete all as specified and directed at site.

Taking down old/unserviceable distribution board by disconnection of electric connection carefully SPN DBs/TPN DBs/ Main Switch including old unserviceable MCCBs/ MCBs, Isolators, etc and making good to disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium Sub main wiring of any size from surface/concealed /existing conduit of any height and removing materials at site and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors roofs etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down ceiling fan/ exhaust fan of any sweep after disconnecting all necessary electrical connections from ceiling rose to fan, fan blades and deposit to MES store yard complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing single phase electronic energy meter of any capacity after disconnecting all necessary electrical connections and deposit to MES store yard complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 Sq mm single core PVC insulated unsheathed copper FRLSH multi stranded conductor cable in and including Concealed PVC conduit of size 20/25mm ISI marked inclusive of tees ,bend ,elbows etc upto and including sunk in anodized pressed steel box for housing switch socket etc with white laminated 3 mm thick hylam sheet cover ISI marked of suitable size complete including PVC insulated multi stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sq mm FRLSH cable as earth wire to common earth dolly for connection to ceiling rose to earth terminal including cutting, chasses and making good disturbed surface to match with existing finish with plaster complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge for following :-

(a) One light point controlled by one, one way switch 5 Amps

(b) One light point controlled by one, two way switch 5 Amps

(c) One fan point/ exhaust fan point controlled by one, one way switch 5 Amps and regulator

(d) One 3 pin 5 Amps switch socket outlet point controlled by one switch on the same board.

(e) One 3 pin 5 Amps switch socket outlet point controlled by one switch on independent boad.

(f) One bell point controlled by one, bell switch 5 Amps

ditto all as per item No 6 above but using 2.5 sq mm single core copper conductor cable of multistranded flame retardant PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 volts grade for 5/15 amps switch socket cobmination point including necessary running of 2.5 sq mm copper conductor flame retardant PVC wire as earth continuity conductor along with wiring and connecting to the common eath dolly.

M & L for Sub main wiring with approved colour coding as per IS with two single core PVC insulated FRLSH cable with stranded copper conductor of size 6 Sq mm nominal area and drawing into suitable size of PVC non metallic rigid heavy duty PVC conduit of white/ ivory colour and its accessaries ISI marked heavy duty of suitable size including concealed in wall etc one run of PVC insulated with 6.0 Sqmm (nominal area) stranded copper conductor FRLSH cable as earth wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Two runs of 6 sqmm cable,one run of 4 sqmm cable and one run of PVC conduit will be measured as one unit.

S & F for sheet metal enclosure MCB DB SPN 12 way with 200 Amps rated bus bar 240 volts double door with magnitic locking system including necessary provision for inserting the DBs in wall by cutting the brick/stone masonary etc and making good of distrubed surface to match with existing colour of wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing LED light fitting mirror type with high out put diffuser 2 feet, 10 watt 220 V AC decorative type with driver holder and LED lamp including connecting up with three core flexible copper conductor cable of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

S & F LED light fitting 1x9W/1X10Wbulkhead luminaires including LED light driver holder connecting up with three core flexible copper conductor cable of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing LED Bldg sec light fitting 35 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing existing single phase electronic energy meter of any capacity after connecting all necessary electrical connections complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x6.0 mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.0mm dia Protedcted by light GI Pipe 20 mm dia and 15 dia med grade for watering pipe and connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel, iron funnel,Iron pit cover and chamber all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing LED luminaire 600 mm x 600 mm, 35/36 watt, 220 V AC recessed type with high efficiency PMMA diffuser soft glare free light complete with driver, holders & LED lamp suitable for roof ceiling including connecting up with driver three core flexible copper conductor cases of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing in replacement LED bulb 12W,5 star rated voltage 220-240, 50 Hz, CDL 1200 lumen B22 base type for batten/angular lamp holder as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement LED bulb 7 W in built voltage surge protection upto 3.5 KV, Cool day light 665 Lumen B22 base type for batten/angular lamp holder as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S &F in replacement LED driver for 18W LED tube light fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down carefully by disconnecting electrical connection of unserviceable ceiling fans/exhaust fans of any sweep and size from its position at different locations in cantt area and removing the same fan to MES store yard to keep in safe custody for repairing/ overhauling/ painting and refixing/ re-installation of repaired/serviceable fans (taken from MES store yard) to the different locations in cantt area complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Transportation of ceiling fans/exhaust fans from site location to MES store yard & back( MES store yard to site location )shall be made through proper issue/receipt voucher duly mentioned by MES rep.

Servicing ceiling fans of 1200mm/1400mm/ any sweep and size for repairing/overhauling by cleaning/greasing/oiling etc. and re-assembling the same after and including replacement of unserviceable spare parts as required. (which shall be measured and paid separately under respective items here-in-after) complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only ball bearing SKF 6202/6201/equivalent suitable for 1200/1400 mm sweep ceiling fans complete all as specified.

Servicing exhaust fans of 450 mm /300 mm/225 mm /any sweep and size for repairing/overhauling by cleaning/greasing/oiling etc. and re-assembling the same after and including replacement of unserviceable spare parts as required (which shall be measured and paid separately under respective items here-in-after) complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cutting of existing winding of ceiling fans of 1200/1400 mm sweep and rewinding with same/suitable size super enameled copper winding wire and including insulating the same with super enameled varnish and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Cutting of winding coil of ceiling fans shall only be done in presence of Engineer-in-charge/concerned ground executive.

M&L for cutting of existing winding of exhaust fans of 450 mm sweep and rewinding with same/suitable size super enameled copper winding wire and including insulating the same with super enameled varnish and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Cutting of winding coil of exhaust fans shall only be done in presence of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cutting of existing winding of exhaust fans of 300 mm/250 mm sweep and rewinding with same/suitable size super enameled copper winding wire and including insulating the same with super enameled varnish and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Cutting of winding coil of exhaust fans shall only be done in presence of Engineer-in-charge/concerned ground executive.

S &F in repair 2.5 mfd capacitor suitable for ceiling fans of 1200 mm/1400 mm sweep of approved make complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S &F in repair 4 mfd capacitor suitable for exhaust fans of 300 mm to 450 mm sweep of approved make complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge

S &F in repair mild steel clamps of suitable size & shape with rubber reel, nut bolts with washer and including spliting pin suitable for 1200 mm/1400 mm sweep of ceiling fans complete all as specified & directed.

S &F in repair mild steel hooks fabricated/made out of flat iron 50 mm x 6mm including nut, bolts (6-8 mm dia & 40 to 50 mm long with spring washer) complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S &F in repair PVC flexible wire of size 23/.0076 Sqmm or 0.50 sqmm multi stranded, twin core, PVC sheathed copper conductor complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old rusted surface of ceiling fans of any sweep by cleaning to remove dust/rust etc. and applying one coat of synthetic enamel (white shade) paint by spray machine and marking MES number with non erasable marker pen with black colour complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old rusted surface of exhaust fans of any sweep by cleaning to remove dust/rust etc. and applying one coat of synthetic enamel (brown shade) paint and marking MES number with non erasable marker pen with black colour all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F louvers for Exhaust Fan of size 250 mm to 450mm sweep steel suitable for existing shape and size including taking down existing unserviceable /rusted louvers complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

S & F in repair metal blades set suitable for exhaust fan 250mm/300 mm/450mm sweep any make as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repair PVC blades set suitable for exhaust fan 250mm/300 mm/450mm sweep any make as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old burnt compressor and S & F new sealed /rotary compressor suitable for 1.5 ton capacity of window/split type AC unit and connecting up suction and discharging pipe line with gas welding and duly charged with fresh refrigents gas connecting up all electrical connections, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :Voltas/USHA/Shriram/ Blue Star/ Samsung / Hitachi/ Vedeocon/ LG/ Carrier/ General/ Onida etc as per existing make at site.

M&L for Themal over load relay for 1.5/2.0 Ton capacity of any type of ACs including taking down unserviceable thermal over load relay complete all as specified and directed.

M &L for Running capacitors of 35 mfd to 60 mfd suitable for 1.5/2.0 Ton Capacity split type AC/window type AC including taking down existing unserviceable running capacitors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Starting Capacitor of 80/100/120 MFD suitable for 1.5/2.0Ton Capacity split type AC/Window type AC including taking down old unserviceble staring capacitor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for servicing carefully any type of AC of cap 1.5/2.0 TR from site and removing power connection and front PVC grills, air filters, cleaning, washing, removing dirt, cleaning, servicing including chemical wash of cooling coil of indoor cooling unit and condenser coil of out door unit and cleaning refrigeration system with CTC (Carbon Tetra Chloride) thoroughly, leak testing with refrigerant gas and re assembling the dismantled components and fixing to its original position complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for gas charging with refrigerant gas R-22, R-34 & R-410 in new sealed/eixting unit of compressors ACs/Water cooler/Deep freezer/Refrigerator unit of any type and any size including testing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down unserviceable water cooler from the site and transporting the same for repair,removing the unserviceable burnt sealed unit (compressor) from the water cooler and S & F new sealed /rotary compressor duly charged with compressor oil including welding in position and testing on required pressure and transporting the water cooler at site in its original location of capacity 40/80 ltr complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F in replacement of running capacitor for water cooler 40/80 ltr capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F in replacement of starting relay 3 pin for water cooler 40/80 ltrs capacity complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. .

S & F in repair starting capacitor for 40/80 ltr capacity water cooler complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S & F in replacement of unserviceable float valve with new polythelene ball suitable for 15mm dia GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable 15mm dia water tap and S&F new self closing chromium plated stainless steel push cock of 15mm dia heavy duty complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for overhauling of desert cooler of any make and any size including replacement of worn out perished copper conductor wiring of required size,PVC rubber pads for fans motor,Iron frame for motor, PVC water distributor pipe and its fittings like bends,Tee, water pipe all as specified and directed.

S&F wood wool pad (set of three, weight not less than 600 gram of each set of pad of size 18" x 22") for desert cooler of any size and capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F new fan blade made of ABS plastic for suitable size, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F desert cooler fan motor copper wound of suitable size 230 Volts, 50Hz, three speed, ISI marked & BIS complete all as specified and directed.

S&F desert cooler water lifting pump with 1/6 HP electric motor 230 Volts 50 Hz, ISI marked & BIS approved complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting carefully water and electric connection from storage type water heater of 25/35/50 Ltr capacity of any make and dismantling for repair by taking out the syphon assembly of thermostat, heating element and cleaning, de-scaling the inner tank by de-scaling with chemical compound including soldering, brazing the inner tank if required, re-assembling the geyser after cleaning & servicing including replacement of flexible cable of size 2.5 sqmm 3 core with copper conductor up to 1.5 mtr long and re-fixing in existing position complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The rate quoted is deemed to include cost of soldering/brazing work and glass wool superior quality if required at site.

Note : Tenderers may note that amount of credit Rs 52,580.20 will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
