MANNING AND OPERATION OF 33/11 KV MRS, 11 KV SUB STATIONS INCLUDING DG SETS AT INS EKSILA UNDER AGE E/M NO.II OF GE (UTILITY-I) VISAKHAPATNAM

Manning and Operation for maintenance and operation of 33 KV main receiving station complex at INS Eksila including 33 KV switch yard, battery back up, 33 KV switchgears, 33/11 KV Transformers 5 MVA -2 Nos, 11 KV VCB panels, HT capacitor bank, 20 KVA DG set 500 KVA 11/0.433 KV transformer of sub-stn No.5 , connected LT panels, RMU and all connected switchgears round the clock in three shifts per day including Sundays and holidays complete including attending minor complaints such as fuse off calls due to tripping of MCCBs / ACBs , switching on of street light timers/controls, replacement of pitted lugs etc of entire Eksila area as and when required and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(i) One skilled electrician in each shift

(ii) One semi skilled electrician in each shift

Manning and Operation for maintenance and operation of indoor 11 KV sub station No. 1 & 2, M-36 Sub-station, 625 KVA, 62.5 KVA DG sets with connected 11/0.433 KV 1600 KVA transformers - 2 Nos, 1000 KVA transformer-01 No with all HT/LT panels, capacitor banks and battery back up complete for smooth and trouble free operation round the clock in three shifts per day including Sundays and holidays complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(i) One skilled electrician in each shift

Manning and Operation for maintenance and operation of indoor 11 KV Sub station No. 3 & 4, M-15 Sub-station, 250 KVA, 625 KVA DG sets with connected 11/0.433 KV 1600 KVA transformers - 2 Nos, 1000 KVA transformer-01 No with all HT/LT panels, capacitor banks and battery back up complete for smooth and trouble free operation round the clock in three shifts per day including Sundays and holidays complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(i) One skilled electrician in each shift

Note for Item No. 1 to 3 :- The rate shall also include the following: (i) The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the complete area (i.e. inside boundary wall ) such as building/ DG Set area, lawn, garden, outside the bay yard , hard standing , foot path etc in neat and clean condition. All necessary T&P for cutting /cleaning of grass and vegetation shall be arranged by contractor. (ii) The 33 KV supply from APEPDCL Sriharipuram sub station to MRS Eksila to be monitored by the operator. Any HT/LT complaints should be attended with in 1 hour and rectification should be recorded. Necessary transportation should be provided by the contractor. (iii) Any additional man power if required for early restoration of supply in case of emergency.

(iv) The operator shall ensure by trail run and be alert to run the DG Set with in 5 minutes of supply failure. (v) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in a tool box with operator for smooth functioning. (vi) The contractor has to work in conjunction with other agencies working at INS Eksila area to resolve the break downs without creating inconvenience to users. (vii) The capacitor banks shall be operated power factor not less than 0.95 at incomer. Any charges levied by APEPDCL for non maintaining shall be recovered without any claim.

(viii) The installation will be handed over in operating state on the commencement of contract though work order. (ix) The contractor shall be responsible to communicate the concerned JE/AGE /GE regarding any type of breakdown /fault within 10 minutes of the incident. (x) The contractor shall provide protective clothing , helmet, and shoes to all persons on duty. (xi) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of log sheets, break down register, complaint register, earthing testing register etc, and cost of T &P for maint work, minor consumables such as RYB indication lamps, PG clamps, PVC insulation tape, screws, washers, nails, Teflon tape, fuse wire, clips, bolts, nuts etc for day to day maintenance and repairs.

(xii) (a) HSD oil required for running DG Set will be issued under Schedule ‘B’ free for filling which will be made available at site by Department. (b) It is the contractor’s responsibility to maintain the minimum reserve of oil in tank at any time and as directed by EIC. (c) Necessary Men power required to load the HSD oil at Store yard and to unload the HSD Oil at site shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted shall include for the same.
