Notes applicable to all items of BOQ :- (i) Contractor shall be responsible to make all necessary safety arrangements for the workmen. (ii) Contractor shall make all necessary arrangement to protect the existing pumps, pipe lines, cables, equipment, etc while carrying out the demolition of RCC slab, plaster, etc and other repair work. Any damage caused to the existing pumps, pipe lines, cables, equipment, etc during execution of work shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) It shall be responsibility of the contractor to clear the entire debris, rubbish, etc fall down in the sump while carrying out the demolition of RCC slab, plaster, other repair work etc and quoted rates of respective items shall deemed to include this aspect. (iv) The Water Sump shall be cleaned in all respect by the contractor at his own cost after carrying out all repair works and site of work shall be left clean on completion of work. (v) The quoted rates against various items shall deemed to be inclusive of above aspects.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including racking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete as in roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work (reinforcement cut as required to faciliate demolition) including removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description and from any position not otherwise provided for in this Schedule (BOQ), complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:1½:3, type A1, Nominal mix (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in columns, pillars, piers, posts, struts and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only Integral Water Proofing Compound (ISI Marked).

Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions, square, rectangular or polygonal for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel work as in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290), complete, all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, framed signed boards, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work, framed and hung as gates including pintle hinges, stops, hand-made sliding bolts, etc including welding conforming to Fe.290 (Gde E-165), complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F rolled mild steel work as in Plates (plain or chequered) channels. Square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with bolted or welded attachment, including necessary welding etc. conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality `A’ complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F rolled mild steel work in Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats, necessary welding, etc. conforming to Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality 'A’, complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F stainless steel (Grade-304) ladder including designer balusters, railing pipes, foot/ thread, etc in size, shape and design as directed, made of hollow tubes, channels, plates, balls, etc, including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the ladder with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc, of required size with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-Charge including fixing ladder in under ground water sump of 5mtr depth. (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc).

S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof coverings/ ridges/ cladding to walls, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified & as directed. Notes : (i) Colour of sheet shall be as approved by the GE. (ii) Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of scaffolding, safety net, safety belt, etc

S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof coverings/ cladding to walls, ridges, gutters, valleys etc. fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified & as directed. Notes : (i) Colour of sheet shall be as approved by the GE. (ii) Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of scaffolding, safety net, safety belt, etc

S&F high performance industrial rooftop wind driven powerless Turbine air ventilator 600mm dia neck of aluminium alloy designed to meet AS 2423 to wind speed of 200 Km per hour and to prevent the entry of wind driven rain at a range of 2.5L per second including of aluminium base plate and all necessary accessories, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, mixed with WPC @ minimum 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's instructions and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : WPC shall be measured and paid for separately as 'Supply only'.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surface of walls and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

Cutting/ Chipping/ Dismantling of spall / loose damaged concrete from soffits of RCC slab / other RCC structural members in a controlled manner carefully by low impact high frequency hammer or by manual chipping without damaging the existing concrete upto good parent concrete to expose the existing reinforcement (direct hammering should be avoided) average thickness of 50-75 mm including cleaning the exposed surfaces by water jet pressure pump at 4 to 5 kg/ Sqcm pressure to remove chlorides and loose particles, air drying the surface etc for further treatment with & including all necessary tools, safety measures like helmet, safety belt, adequate labour insurance, scaffolding, etc. for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr under the supervision of qualified supervisor (the damaged ceiling/ concrete shall only be measured) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying concrete penetrating, migratory bipolar corrosion inhibitor EPCO KP-100 Krishna Conchem (or equivalent of Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Fosroc / Pidilite / BASF / Sunanda / Asian) conforming to ASTMG-109 by brush/spray with dosage of 4 sqm/litre over the entire chipped off/ exposed concrete area in order to arrest further corrosion of reinforcement bars. The application of EPCO KP-100 shall reduce the corrosion in terms of coulombs by 30% minimum upto migration through the embedded side of concrete as measured by mA all as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and all as per manufacturer’s instructions, for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Teflon nozzles compatible with epoxy injector, drilling holes of 12mm dia, upto 100mm deep holes in structural members at the interval of 500mm c/c for slab, 300mm c/c for column and beam in staggered manner or along the crack as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in RCC structural element including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 8-10mm dia Teflon nozzles compatible with epoxy injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of grouting gun. Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing and allow to cure the system minimum 8 hours before grouting including removing nozzle projections, excess putty if any over concrete element grinding, levelling and finishing the external surface, after completion of the work, etc, for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for grouting of RCC structure with low viscous two parts of epoxy (mixed in ratio as specified by manufacturer) by using pressure pump and pressure grouting with compressor at about 1 kg to RCC walls/ slab/ bottom of tank over or under ground as per manufacturer’s instructions and direction and cutting the Teflon nozzles after grouting and making surface good for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make of low viscous epoxy shall be of Krishna Conchem / Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Fosroc / Pidilite / BASF / Sunanda / Asian

M&L for applying protective coating to inside surfaces of water tanks with food grade epoxy stearate coating. Application of food grade epoxy stearate coating confirming to CFTRI & Haffkins certifications or equivalent in two coats etc for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Fosroc / Krishna Conchem / Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Pidilite / BASF / Sunanda / Asian as approved by GE.

M&L for application of high build polymer modified cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 6 ltrs SBR latex per bag of cement over face of concrete of column/ beams/ tanks 20 to 30mm thick in two layers surfaces applied as per manufacturer’s instructions {Compressive strength after 28 days ≥ 40 N/sqmm (According to ASTM C109)} for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr, complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- SBR latex chemical shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’.

Supply only SBR latex chemical of Make Krishna Conchem / Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Fosroc / Pidilite / BASF / Sunanda / Asian as approved by GE.

M&L for non shrink cementitious micro concrete (‘SikaRep Microcrete-4’ of Sika / ‘Renderoc RG’ of Fosroc or equivalent of Dr. Fixit/ Pidilite) meeting ASTM C1107 standard in average thickness 60mm and having minimum compressive strength 50 N/sqmm after 28 days as per ASTM C109, for repair to column, beam, slab, etc, complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions for under ground water sump of depth upto 5mtr, complete all as directed. Notes : (i) Formwork shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately.

Providing, fixing and removing of water tight shuttering (Form work) using film coated 12mm thick plywood sheets for micro-concreting the lintels/ beams/ slabs in line and level and with proper support of average thickness 50-75mm including scaffolding upto 10m height and all safery measures of labourers complete all as specified and directed. Note : Formwork under this item shall be measured and paid only for repair of RCC members with micro concrete.

M&L providing additional reinforcement TMT bars in place of more than 1/3 corroded reinforcement bars including cutting, bending, placing and fixing in position using 'Lokfix' of M/S Fosroc or equivalent of Dr. Fixit / SIKA / Pidilite with & including all necessary tools, scaffolding, etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Weight of TMT bars shall only be measured for payment purpose.

M&L for dismantling and taking down of suction pipe line, delivery pipe line, electrical connection of submersible pumping set of capacity 30 HP for repair work of UG sump and depositing the same to E/M stores and re-connecting suction pipe lines, delivery pipe lines and electrical connection in same or new location after carrying out other repair work under relevant items of this Schedule complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dismantling and taking down of suction pipe line, delivery pipe line, electrical connection of split casing centrifugal pumping set/ Mono Block pumping set of capacity 60 HP for repair work of UG sump and depositing the same to E/M stores and re-connecting suction pipe lines, delivery pipe lines and electrical connection in same or new location after carrying out other repair work under relevant items of this Schedule complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting to pump & motor set of capacity 30 to 60 HP including MS channels, foundations, suction and delivery pipes up to 5m length from pump sets including cleaning the outer surfaces of any description, in any position, applying one coat of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint with proper colour codes and writing SM No. and MES No. etc., complete all as specified and as directed.
