The work consists of supply and construction of Underground(UG) fuel storage tank With Over Head Protection(OHP) and FRP coating (Cap 5 KL). 1.1 General description of UG Fuel Storage Tk of 5 KL with FRP coating is as under:- 1.1.1 Nominal Capacity (Kl)= 5 KL with 5% Air Space. 1.1.2 Min Shell Out-side Diameter (D) = 1600mm 1.1.3 Min Overall Length (L) = 2750mm 1.1.4 Spacing Between Saddle Supports (E) =2110mm 1.1.5 Min Thickness: 1.1.5.1 Wear Plate (tw) = 6.0mm 1.1.5.2 Shell Plate - 5mm 1.1.5.3 Above ground tank (ta) = 5.0mm 1.1.5.4 End Plate with Stiffeners (te) = 6.0mm 1.1.6 Size of Stiffeners (angle Section) = 65x65x6mm Minimum Width of Saddle Support (B) = 150mm 1.1.7 Minimum Breadth of Saddle Support (C) = 1385mm. 1.1.8 Tank platform of suitable MS section and MS plate to provide as platform for tank. 1.1.9 Steel casing over motor & dispensing unit should be provided by vendor. Note. Material & Manufacturing as per IS 10987-1992 (reaff 2022) (Detail sketch as approved by Accepting Officers) as per technical specification and drawing attached at tender documents.
