Repairs to 250 mm rising main at FC 2nd by way of extraction of damaged old PVC flexible steel reinforced rubber pipe at brim/edge of the bund link road by way of earth excavation upto a depth of 10 feet, length of 14 feet and width of 04 feet approximately using manual labour. The job includes cutting of rusted nuts and bolts fitted in existing pipe flange at leaking spot, cutting of embedded roots of adjacent trees, extraction of damaged pipe from trench. The job includes providing, fitting, testing of new 250 mm dia, minimum 5mm thick, 4m long MS pipe as replacement for damaged rubber hose pipe. The job includes providing, fitting of 250 mm dia, 10 mm thick MS flange (01 no.) to pipe end at site and laying of pipe in excavated trench with proper alignment with existing rising main, providing, fitting of nuts bolts, RI cloth a per site requirement and testing of pipe for leakages on full load. Backfilling of trench with existing material and extra material to be procured for filling crater including levelling, ramming of excavated spot with soling material to restore uniform surface of bund. The job includes cost on account of D.G set, Welding set, oxy acetylene gas cutter, tripod stand, load carrier, various tools and tackles required for accomplishing of job at site.
