Cutting in all kinds of soil such as kankar, moorum, shingle boulders decomposed of soft rock or any such mixed in other variety of soil or rocks including filling in embankments where necessary including ramming and watering etc. stacking of serviceable materials at the place specified by the Engineer-in-Charge including all leads and lifts wherever or for what purpose required in Pick work,Jumper work and Chisling /wedgin g out of rock in hard rock.

Excavation in foundation and trenches etc.(for pipes & pits) in earth work in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting soft or hard rock or by chiselling soft or hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming / dressing of sides and bed, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and returning the excavated soil after completion of work in 15cm layers when required into plinth, sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil complete in all respect as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10(1cement:5sand:10 graded stone aggregate of 40mm nominal size) with 15% plum and curing complete excluding cost of form work in retaining walls/breast walls, the size of plums shall usually be 150mm to 300mm complete in all respect within all lead and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
