PROVISION OF SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE AT AF STATION KUMBHIGRAM

ROAD/HARDSTANDING Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as directed and specified.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for laying and compacting 200mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular sub base (GSB) as per Grade-II as specified Table 400-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 in single layer not exceeding 15cm thick over compacted sub grade with with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed,spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (Compacted thickness) of Wet mixed macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-12 and 400-13 respectively of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufacturated in WMM paint in two layers of 75mm, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granualar material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor pavor and rolling with vibratory rollers of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances as per as per table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge work all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rolling and consolidation to required gradient and camber of formation surfaces in cutting with power roller of capacity 8 to 12 ton complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete. all as specified and directed.

M&L repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutiing around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to uniform surface and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.
